I need a very solid advice. My mum gave birth to 6 children and we are remaining five because we lost the second born(male) last year, he was about 46 years old(blessed memory). Last year, we lost our mum to heart related illness after efforts proved abortive. My Dad is a Pastor, a big church of a plot and half land mass, but few members over the years. I am a fresh graduate searching for job and my sister who's the third born lost her husband last year as well. Our believe is that the area (family house) is devilish. My sisters believed that my mum's death wasn't ordinary but from that area.. Just this Monday, my dad has stroke ( his left leg and hand ), he said he had insomnia previous night(Sunday), but I quickly rush him with BP drugs.. When the nurse came to check his BP that same Monday, it wasn't high at all.. We took him away from that area. Now, the issue is.. My dad is a CAC pastor, and most times CAC would take over the church if the owner dies.. We the children are still struggling financially and none of us is ready to become a pastor(to head the church). I am having this thought that, to avoid such scenario (CAC taking over) why not just sell or lease it out? We have another building in Oyo state, and also a house beside the church. I don't know if I'm thinking the wrong way though, that is why I need advice., Before I go ahead and table it before my sisters and my Dad. Myself, I don't want to continue in that area again.. Meaning nobody would stay, but our house which is beside the church, we can renovate it very well and that one in Ibadan and rent it out... Please I need good and mature advice. Thanks |
AskProf:This is public space, I don't want anything like scamming so I have to prevent myself. Ok. |
AskProf:Why do I need to drop my number here?? If you are going through the same thing and you really want to help, You don't need my number sir.. Please if you can help, kindly quote me and give us insights and advice.. I really appreciate you sir. |
shawante:Thank you very much..I'll take to an hospital. |
shawante:Is blood pressure is low, according to her , his BP is normal. |
shawante:When my nurse sister checked his BP, it wasn't high.. Maybe because I have already given him BP drugs. If the BP is normal, can it be controlled? Or Hospital is Paramount.? |
AskProf:Please sir.. Can you tell me how you're coping with it here please |
AskProf:Ok.. Thank You. I'm very scared of stroke, but what could have caused it? Is it high BP cz he was unable to sleep last night. And can it be quickly corrected.? |
Good evening, I will go straight to the point. My Dad is above 80 years and his mild illness is about Blood Pressure or malaria, being unable to sleep in the night, and that occurs seldomly, we got him BP drugs which has been helping matters. But yesterday, he complained to my brother about his left leg and left hand getting hot, I was not aware. It was this morning he told me that he couldn't sleep last night, he went to pray then came back and I noticed that he wasn't walking very well, I took him inside and gave him food and his BP drug. After some minutes, he said he cannot raise his left hand and left leg. Please good people, what can I do right away! Presently he is with my sister who's a nurse, but any good information would be highly appreciated please. God bless. |

I am a chemistry graduate and unemployed, I finished service last year. Asides venturing into business and teaching, what else can graduates for courses like Physics, chemistry, biology, plant biology, geography and so on, in their respective fields do? They don't pay well in my community or local government area for teachers and all these big secondary schools need connection, an ordinary man has no chance. Lastly, please enlighten me on how to search for jobs in my area of specialization, do we just submit CV online? I just need help and enlightenment from people who have been in my shoes. Thanks Modified |
Yemialade:Hello OP, please can I get a teaching job in Ibadan too? I studied Education Bsc(ed). Thanks in advance. |
vibrant40:Even when I used to be a simp, I wasn't tossed around like dice.. I didn't simp up to this level man!!! 100% sure the other guy had bleeped the hell out of her while you're trying to be kind, and being a gentleman.. Even though I simped, I still had control over my girlfriends.. I broke up with each and everyone of them when I had to and I made sure I didn't spend so much on anyone of them cz all dis girls belong to the street until you wife them. Be man enough to control your girl, Yes I control my girlfriends too.. That way, they won't control you, they'll know their limit. Immediately a girl starts talking about this guy, how well he's built, he's rich or handsome , just know that your time with her is limited. |
Kobojunkie:Church Interpreter.. You get what I'm saying. |
Honchoslim16:Satan na.. But interpretation deals more with confidence or boldness, no matter how learned you're, being able to translate Yoruba to English and English to Yoruba word for word is kinda sophisticated |
Happy Sunday, I am a Christian and a true follower of Christ. I want to know how I can start being an interpreter, How do I start interpreting I'm English? Is it an heavy task? Interpreters in the house please how did you Start? What are the things you put in place ? |
bassdow:Most times, Govt Work na Leg.. How can someone apply for it or know when one is recruiting |

Go for the second girl. If u loved the first, you wouldn't have had another choice to choose from. |
How can someone correct premature ejaculation? I have no idea if excess of sugar or glucose in the body is the cause, but I hardly last 5min infact my gf literally argued that I hardly last 5min, we broke up in march but that might not be the reason tho, and those times, I would only do 1round and panran don slack and it would never hard again for a whole day! The last time, it was just 5 thrust and this thing don release and e no hard again.. Omoh I won cry, babe just dy look me like.. I don't even want to invite babes to my house cz what if it happened exactly like this? Is there a way I can treat this permanently? What are the causes? Please enlighten me. |
Cutehector:I didn't marry them, and neither did I impregnate and dump them, so we good. And you know that, it's not every Lady you date you can marry or take serious as a guy? |
Jennyclay:Lol.. Please say what you have to say., which one is broke shaming. I am broke, yes. So? Make I pressure myself go do ritual abi? Or broke men don't marry with the little resources they have? I have not engage any girl yet cz I haven't gotten what I want in lady, once I got one, I'll see what I can do |
I notice this particular thing, two out of every six ladies I meet are very young single mums with ages between 20-25. I met one recently again and when we had this deep conversation she opened up that she's a single mum, and she showed me her 2 years old son's picture. The saddest part is that, all of these young single mums are into hookup, or lowkey olosho. What is the cause? is it advisable to date or have se* with these single mums, cz I don't see it as the right thing to do. At least 3 of them had visited me, but immediately I know or they tell me they had a baby, I lose interest in them and I never had anything sexual with them infact I cut them off. Our girls can do better than spreading legs like WiFi, and they should know if the guy is responsible. |
RealSolution001:The girl that loves u is the one that created time for u always.. it is no rocket science na. Who tell u say that babe u love no dy knack another guy? |

FireUpNow:This wife issue has been in place more than 4 years ago. Before they started having children, my mum already advised and cautioned him about the woman, and that's after several findings about her family. But he wouldn't listen. We didn't treat d wife anyhow, cz even despite my mum's disagreement with my brother, she still invited her every Christmas to cook with us and they all came.. infact, I did visit then once a while too, and gave his two children money(4 and 3 years old). Infact, before my mum passed, my mum always assisted them with food stuffs, and my dad always visited them. The wife is not just a free person, the kind of lady who is not open, free minded and relatable. Infact my mum paid for her delivery(the wife) at the hospital when they had the first born.. and she always asked her grand children to come and spend days with her cz she loves seeing grandchildren.. So what again? Despite all this, when my mum was sick none of them showed care, not even with a dime.. or even call or visit even if there's no money. I swear my mum had nothing against her son, infact my sister's asked him to move to my Dad's house for d main time till he gets himself, but he didn't listen. My dad wanted to give him a house in one local area around Aiyetoro, my brother declined saying he didn't like the area stuff like that.. So how did we not love him? We paid part of the hospital bills, my dad paid part too.. he just didn't open up about his wellness and none of us knew about it. I'm d last born, and I'm just getting my feet cz I just finished Sch last year, I have learnt him money before when he was broke, and I'm sure my dad would have raised him if he said anything. My other siblings don't live close cz they're married and they live far away, it's just me, my dad and one sister here who's also facing her own challenges catering for her own children. So, I don't think we had anything against his family I don't think we were bad.. |
steph0:When he was first admitted that he took pants of blood, we contributed money.. Until he was discharged, I remember calling him a week after and he confirmed he was very fine.. my Dad checked up on him and same as my sister and he didn't complain about anything whatsoever, so how were we supposed to know he wasn't having enough rest or sleep? Or if the drugs administered to him parts were hypertensive?? That is why I needed to talk to that wife, If your husband is trying to keep shits or trying hard but he wasn't fine, she was supposed to call our attention at least to every little details.. It was after they rushed him to the hospital tht she now called us, but he was gone. I spoke with the doctor immediately, and he told me those things I said about the hypertensive drugs , that his wife said he wasn't getting enough sleep. He was even instructed not to return to that house, but to take refuge at my Dad's house for the main time, but he himself said he's fine and well. Even if he had financial issues, why would that lead to all these shits? |
ObalendeCMS:If she'd been a good wife at least tried to convince or be a good woman, I'm sure we would have Ben convinced as well and treated her better.. it was the way people talked about her and her mum we met them.. |
Kobojunkie:That's because 1. I'm the last born of the family, he is way older than me. 2. I knew it was what he chose and most especially what his wife made him to be. 3. I knew he did everything deliberately, and that's because my he believed my mum/family didn't want the both of them together . So I know the case, I have no reason to fight him or anything. |
1Sharon:She's from Abeokuta.. you know what I mean? |
dmostcheerful:Anyways, I wish your brother out of wedlock marries a strange woman who'd not let him know his family anymore, you'll understand that women are the source of all our problems even from Adam's time. What your parents sees sitting down, none of you can see it standing up even having to support your legs.. if you hated ur mum because she advised u about a particular woman who didn't come into the family properly or formerly, without any knowledge of whom she is and used to be, you'll understand my plight. If your brother was doing fine before he meets a lady and suddenly things started changing for bad.. you'll understand. That's why I will never marry any Abk girl, never!! |
