LeoMax, you again? Why did Kofi Annan advise Jonathan not to arrest them if GEJ did not plan to do such?  LeoMax, let your biased  mind not becloud your sense of reasoning.  You told me you speak the truth only; NO, LeoMax, I have been following you but I dare say you are fighting TRUTH.  Who fights TRUTH and win? I wish you luck!

@D55 ""Nigerians are so selfish. You have reason to blame our leaders"'

^^
I am sorry for you. You are one ignorant, uneducated dead man walking. Some are uneducated but they are not completely oblivious of what is going on around them, they are knowledgeable and alive.

D55, I am sorry for you!
PoliticsRe: Militants Threatening Us – Pengassan by dbride: 12:14pm On Jan 14, 2012
@Muami & co., Igbos are everywhere in the world and that, I should think, makes them a detribalised people. Why they do not comment on any issue without ethnic bias, even when it is totally uncalled for beats my imagination. My people we can go our separate ways but not by exhibiting so much ignorance bordering on lack of education. Yes, if we must talk Igbo this, Hausa that, Yoruba this, let's do it when it is called for. Osu go, oto ge, ya isa.

@ REFERENCE, do you have anything against dealing with corruption in the system. How can subsidy removal be fight against corruption. Oh my God, but unfortunately for a few people like you, the majority of nigerians understand the real problem and they also know that removal of subsidy is not synonymous with fighting corruption.

There is corruption in Customs, Immigration, Police force, all ministries and agencies including presidency! So if you remove subsidy, have you stopped corruption in these places? In fact, you will increase corruption especially as the removal of subsidy will cause inflation!

@Simple2rut, bia, mechie onugi. Igbo this, yoruba that, Hausa this.  Please can you not see beyond this tribal divide? Who told you that it is only the yoruba and hausas that are  protesting? Waoh, in this time and age people are still talking the way you do? Even if some are still backward, why do you want to join in? Dust yourself my man and speak like an EXPOSED grown man!

Nigerians are all about CORRUPTION not what you think.  Remove all the subsidy, leave Corruption to continue, then Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw, Ibibio, etc. will be consumed. Open your eyes and see beyond fuel subsidy. Are you still in Nigeria or you moved to another planet? The pure water seller now knows that his leaders are currupt. Man, nobody wants to be shortchanged.

This is not a tribal war but WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION. You only wonder why now to which I say ASK GOD!
Truly and clearly, so many voted for Jonathan, and they are now defending their votes.

@La Fruia, NO corruption is not a burden we have to live with. Evil will always succumb to Good when the former's time is up. Evil people thrive because the good people fold their hands and do nothing. The good people of 9ja are now very aware and are ready to be used by the almighty God as vessels of change. When the good sacrifices himself, evil will flee. Rats are naturally destructive, but they cannot remain when the cat is around.

Mr Sanusi, you are a good man and I have watched how uncomfortable you have become of late; your body language says it all.

I have in my quiet moments asked why good men cannot resign or remove themselves from the rot they find themselves. Sanusi, you know you are working with corrupt people, or are you part of them? If you are clean, then why are you still there? A tree does not make a forest. Do you think you can beat them? Remember, if you cant beat them, join them. In Nigeria, when will ''clean'' men make a statement by separating themselves from the corrupt men and thereby become national heroes for the young to emulate?

I find it hard to believe that you are still there. My advice? RESIGN. Just in passing, REUBEN ABATTI is another man that I never thought would find himself in this messy situation.
PoliticsRe: Subsidies: Sls Replies Critics. A Must Read by dbride: 10:25am On Jan 14, 2012
Sanusi, I like your submission minus the ''pull them down mentality''. The poor man is not asking to benefit from the subsidy (is there any such thing?) alone otherwise remove it. Why do you think you can speak for the poor without seeking his opinion first. I hate when people think fuel is required for cars only and only the rich own cars. The poor is not interested in the ratio of subsidy benefit you always put forward, he simply wants to be comfortable on his level. Do us all a favour, fight corruption. Is this too difficult to understand?
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Efcc Detains Adenuga, Otedola And Others. by dbride: 4:59pm On Jan 13, 2012
Dont be deceived, the pro-Jonathan group is trying hard to give us the impression govt is now fighting corruption to make us shift ground. The cabal is Jonathan, Allisson, etc. They are in govt, but their hangers-on, like Beaf and co. are fighting tooth and nail to make their bosses look good.
PoliticsRe: Fg Agrees To N65 by dbride: 10:09am On Jan 13, 2012
LOL, President Jonathan has shoes now, but the problem is he wants to wear 10 pairs at the same time. Check the budget and deny this fact if you can. He wants to make up for the years he did not wear them. I love my president, no be lie.
PoliticsRe: Fg Agrees To N65 by dbride: 10:02am On Jan 13, 2012
We have the Civil Rights group, EIE (Enough is Enough), Save Nigeria group; are they not recognised? Why are they not representing at the meeting? Nigerians are asking above all things for accountability. In this struggle, we have all identified clearly the root of our problem - CURRUPTION. Why are these men not speaking the minds of the people? Did they eat or drink there? Waoh, I am asking too many questions because I see NLC/TUC running away from the Cancer that Removal of Fuel Subsidy unearthed. My people, if you are fighting an ailment and discover the cause of the ailment, do you overlook the cause and attack the ailment only? How do you hope to get the ailment out today and not see it resuscitate tomorrow?

NLC/TUC, think; let this struggle not be a wasted effort.

In every situation, there is something to learn. Hurray, 9ja people, including the market woman, is beginnng to show interest in how they are governed. This is the first step in fighting curruption. I am happy about this. The more Jonathan and his cohorts harden their hearts, the more aware 9jas become of the rot in high places. The thieves are being cautiuos and maybe repenting in their havens. God is speaking, who will understand? Who says God is not in 9ja? His ways are different from our ways. Shine your eyes and see with me! Have you ever prayed for 9ja, then understand what is happening; otherwise ask God for understanding! We are all vessels some unto honour and some unto dishonour but my God is at work, not the way you expect it but HIS WAY.

Go to Britain, US, Japan, France, Venezuela, etc. something is being subsidized, maybe not pms. What is all this talk about subsidy. The problem is not SUBSIDY but CURRUPTION. It beats me that these people do not want to talk about how to fight curruption. They do not see beyond their noses but are simply chasing shadows. A house built on sand will surely collapse. Their policies are built on the foundation of Curruption. They cannot see it but surprisingly, we outside, can see it clearly.  Why are they so blind?  My people, when you sit with failure, destruction, DEVIL, you cannot see clearly anymore yet your natural eyes are wide open. The fall of a man, system is first concluded spiritually b4 it manifests here on earth. The vessels of failure are made blind and deaf so that they see and hear only what they like; mind you they are hardened. How do you identify such vessels? They make no sense when they speak, they contradict their words,  they agree with you but still do not shift ground insisting their way is the only way! Aro, Ara, Hauka, Madness. The cards will soon fall. God is using them to show us the rot in govt and the way our leaders reason. QED My people, God is training us. Shine your eyes, natural and spiritual, and see the outcome of all this. We will come out stronger especially in the issues of how we are governed.

Okonjo Iweala, please all these projects can be done in phases. Start with Electricity, which is the most important now, then others can follow. You seem to be pushing Jonathan way too much all in the attempt to make a point: the president that commissioned so many projects. Fight curruption while you are fixing electricity. You want to do these projects with the same people you have said are imcompetent. I am just tired of listening to these paper economists who stick to what they learnt in schools without native sense or street wisdom.

If Jonathan cannot handle all the projects required to make 9ja like SA, USA, UK, Okonjo let him do two or three or even ONE - ELECTRICITY. Fight Curruption so that subsequent leaders will be forced to follow suit. Stop pushing him.

@Wadosky, you are on target. Well said!

Because our oil is being smuggled out, the people will now be denied the right to enjoy what they have. Who stops giving his children ice cream because his neighbour also enjoy the ice cream. If you do not want your neighbour to eat out of it, simply drive them or close your door, DO SOMETHING anyhow to stop the neighbour. You do not stop giving ice cream to your children for that reason. Okonjo Iweala, that was a dumb defence for removal of subsidy, very absurd! When a man tries so hard to cover the truth, he begins to talk without making any sense. Again, she said the rural people are not enjoying the benefits of subsidy. Where is this woman from? Now that the subsidy is removed, where will they, the rural people buy their food, which schools will their children attend, etc. I guess a special one set up by Okonjo Iweala. Waoh, now I know that book knowledge is not it but WISDOM of God!  Even a 12 yr old lad sitting around has punched holes on her comments.
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 5:39pm On Jan 09, 2012
LeoMax, thank u but you have chosen to answer my last question and failed to attend my my first and more important question. Why would Jonathan budget 145 million to maintain his generating set if he had plans to scrap PHCN today. Does he not have confidence in its replacement? My brother, u are not biased, I believe you but please answer me, Jonathan's actions bother me so much! Thank you for your civility.
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 5:32pm On Jan 09, 2012
@A-Zed thank u for talking to LeoMax; he is not a deep thinker at all. I have asked him one question three times, but he has not been able to answer. Maybe too he wants to think deeper now, but I am waiting patiently.
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 5:24pm On Jan 09, 2012
LeoMax, how deep are you? You wonder why I asked this question. Sometimes you are at the border treading softly, neither here nor there, other times you jump in so elated but lacking of any deep consideration. So I ask again why would Jonathan budget 145million to maintain generating set in the villa if he already knew he would scrap PHCN? Or he does not have confidence in PHCN's replacement?
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 5:10pm On Jan 09, 2012
LeoMax, I AM STILL WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE. WHY DID JONATHAN BUDGET 145 MILLION FOR MAINTENANCE OF GENERATING SET IN THE VILLA IF HE KNEW HE HAD THIS PLAN? AN AFTER THOUGHT?
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 5:00pm On Jan 09, 2012
LeoMax the ''intelligent, literate'', please help me out.  Jonathan had this plan, why did he budget 145million naira to maintain generating set in the villa? Or is this PHCN liquidation an after thought?
PoliticsRe: PHCN Divided And Liquidated By FG by dbride: 4:50pm On Jan 09, 2012

@Ebukaprof,  you pretend not to know that CURRUPTION is the real problem of 9ja. Pls if you were born yesterday, then wait until you grow up to comment on 9ja issues about governance.

@Ak4God.  Act ur username; wait to hear from God b4 you speak. Clearly, you have not spoken the mind of God. Curruption in 9ja stinks to high heaven and I tell you, God is angry! God Himself has revealed that Jonathan knows the truth and what to do but has no liver, he is so afraid. God speaks! Jonathan will be consumed by that which he fears to face. The masses are the weaker group to fight instead. My God is watching and I am on His side

I keep calling u a ghost from the pit of hell. What do you think nigerians have been clamouring for all this while if not the curruption that has eaten us up? You want to turn around from your destructive position but you must find who to blame for your mistake; hmmm typical 9ja leader mentality; instead of fighting curruption head-on, they say it is a cabal. Well then, fight the cabal head-on! Beaf go take chill pill, you are so, so confused. I told you yesterday to Watch and mark my words. Watch God spoil ALL your plans including those you are helping. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Where is "'youth'' Kalu who did the same job for Abacha? Enough said. Watch God do His kind of Clean Up. I trust Him. You will destroy urself back to your ''ghost enclave''. I speak what I have heard!
