Ifihearm, what's your problem? Come down from your high horse, there are men but you will not see them because your MIND (VERY POWERFUL) is set on the already rich men. The young up coming ones may be poor today but will surely become rich in future. Women hardly remember this fact. When a woman says "men are scarce", they make me wonder is God imperfect? Rich men have come a long way and are most times already taken! Go start small.

Men are not scarce at all. God is perfect, but too many women, educated and uneducated, city and village, even the pepper grinders, are all running after the few "comfortable" men. Women's eyes on MONEY!

For those who criticize 'good men' that choose to enter politics, I have one word for you: Oshiomole. Granted that nobody is perfect, take a look at Warri and Benin city: two cities that are just 45 minutes away from each other. One city is located in a state with the second largest oil money allocation in Nigeria, while the other is a mid level state in terms of federal allocation. In warri city, pot holes riddle major roads, traffic lights do not work, their is no good waste disposal system, no beautification of the city...nothing! In Benin city, the reverse is the case: working traffic lights, no potholes on major roads, city well beautified, adequate waste disposal, etc. As you can see from this example, it is good to vote for people who have a reputation to protect.

Thank God there are people like you, I am almost in tears reading some discouraging posts from young me who should know better. God will increase your kind in Nigeria as the only hope. God will never come down to help us if we refuse to offer ourselves.

Education has not helped you at all. What has tribe got to do with this. Is Demuren indispensable? Is there no other person to fill his position? What's all this wailing as if he died. My brother dont mind these posters. Most people, including you, dont take time to read a post, understand it before giving it a reply. I talked about confidence + arrogance = time bomb; confidence + humility = Gift of God, priceless, jackpot.

Women ALWAYS forget that EVERY man has that GOD-given EGO (not a bad thing, God gave it to them)and yes a confident woman is a better wife than the timid one but that confidence must come with humility to make a stable home; otherwise your home will be hell on earth. WHY? because a confident arrogant/proud woman + the Ego of the man is like being in a microwave.

It is God that chooses what kind of fisherman you will be. For me, they are all good. God is not interested in competition. If it is God that puts you in any category, then He gives the required grace, power to accomplish in that category. No one is better than the other. They are all important to God. In fact your pastor missed one category: EXAMPLARY FISHERMAN. This one just sits by the river bank, comfortable, resting, happy, eating what the fish like best, especially the smell, and they all swim to the shoreline begging to be taken!

You must WALK with God to WORK for Him, that way you do not worry which group you belong because He puts you there. The 'fleshy' christian might judge you but if you are WALKING with God, you are free because He orders your steps!

Christians seek that relationship with God, enter into His rest, WALK with Him so you will be confident you are in the right place and no preaching will whip up unnecessary sentiments that will make you guilty.
You said your pastor's preaching made you feel guilty that you are not doing enough without confirming which category God has placed you? You do not choose what to do for God, He fixes you where He has carved for you!
Sometimes God wants us to rest, sometimes He wants us to move, sometimes too He wants us to wait, but we must be WALKING with Him in a relationship to know what. May God give us understanding.
