Wike and el-rufai are worst. One was busy demolishing hotels while the other one was mounting useless road blocks in Kaduna. Like el-rufai shutdown kaduna for more than 2months now without providing adequate palliatives to his people. What kind of wickedness is that? Now kaduna indigenes have to come out as early as 1am in the morning just to buy and sell things in the state's central markets.

Is that what the fight against covid19 should be? Putting people in unnecessary hardship just because of a virus that is overhyped by the media.Are we saying people shouldn't go out and fend for themselves and their families because our leaders lack the right approach in combating the virus?


Lockdown or whatever is absolutely a waste of time here in nigeria/Africa. We are only killing our already fragile economy the more. You dont lock down healthy people, its counter productive. If someone is sick at your work place will they management ask everyone to stay home until he/she gets better? Most people beat the virus so there is no point holding all hostage. Just provide incentive for only vulnerable people sick with the virus ( people caught lying will be dealt with by the law) and the healthy ones will still be able to work

If malaria had no cure and could be contracted by bodily fluids from sneezing and coughing and spitting, yes people will stay at home to avoid contracting it.

And I hope you have heard about the life long damages it does to the systems of infected persons?

Not quite correct.

Lockdown without testing isn't entirely useless.

It prevents infected people from massively infecting other people.

In this case we rely on infected persons falling sick from corona symptoms as an evidence of them having the virus.

As soon as someone falls sick, they come pick the person and also everyone they have contacted.

We should be testing massively I concur;

But my point is that the lockdown is not useless.

During the elections in 2015 and 2019 the people defied the FG and voted for Wike and PDP.

Wike should repay the people by using Rivers allocation and IGR to repay Rivers people.

I did not say he should spend money on Kaduna or Lagos people.

This approach is what can practically save Nigeria. We don't have the number of medical personnel, hospital bed spaces, medical equipments and critical infrastructure to contain a massive coronavirus infection.

Let us all stay indoors and ration food till a cure is found. We should plan according to our prevailing circumstances.

The approach that can save Nigeria is for Wike to bring out some of those Rivers state billions and provide 1 million face masks,some sanitizers and 10k for at least 100,000 Rivers people.

All that won't cost the state up to 2 billion naira.

Less than what he uses to watch Real Madrid at the Bernabeau or host PDP conventions here and there.

Now this is the approach that can save lives.
