Thanks Justmellow, I applied online though. Submitted my passport at VFS on monday. JustMellow: It means your application has been approved(stamped - i guess you applied via paper route) and the additional letter is the letter of introduction or correspondence letter of introduction.
Congratulations! |

So i just got a notification on my CIC portal. Logged in and saw that the final decision column which had just "your application has been approved" now has yesterday's date added to it, and there's a new column "document status" wich has the following subheads - Document, Document numbe, Status, Expiry date Status Updated, Date, Travel document, Number, Country of Issue. In addition to the above, another correspondence letter has been sent indicating details of the approval. Can someone kindly explain the significance of this to me? Does it mean that passport has been stamped? What's the use of the additional letter - is that the letter of introduction? |

I can't confirm how true that is but I don't think you suffer or lose anything by attaching it. So just attach it. Vesment: Please the agent that applied previously for me is saying that I don't have to attach Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257) on the online platform. Is it true? |

30 days to complete the medical examination. It's the duty of the medical centre to submit. I don't think you have control over when they submit. fizgurl: Please how many days were you given to submit your medical result. And please for those that have received message for passport request, is there usually a stated deadline to submit passport.
I've still not been able to link my application as i forgot my password and recovery questions and i got a mail last week thursday telling me i have a message in my account. |

Thanks for your response. Quite instructive. makano: I have been seeing peeps telling u go to Qlife, go to IOM bla bla bla, but the decision still boils down on you.. IOM fee is around 45K or so and its in Ikeja, while Qlife is 35k and its on the Island.. Personally I did mine in Qlife and my result was sent to the embassy within 3 days.. Am nt saying u should use Qlife tho, like I said the decision is urs.. Both Clinics are good, for CIC to have recommended them. I think its just these 2 clinics CIC use outta the thousands of clinics we have in Nigeria, so that shows they are really good and trusted by CIC. So the decision is left for to choose which u want.. Peace |

I just got booked for medical examination by both Qlife and IOM (Abuja) for 26th June. For the guys who have done medicals, please which of the 2 is the better option? Considering the likelihood of delay, service delivery, etc. I really don't mind going to any of them, but i just don't want to pick randomly without any reason. |

That's not the full page. Scroll down and you'll see some other information. Meanwhile, this your moniker though. pittoilet: I have submitted my application (online route) since may 13th and this is what I still see on my dashboard.
Those that applied after me have been getting one letter or the other. No eligibility and background review yet talk less of any letter.
Anything the issue? |

The form imm1294 is usually updated periodically by CIC. Between the time you downloaded the form and now, the form may have been revised. So, go to the CIC website and download the current one. After downloading, fill out and validate. Then you can trt uploading again. josmba59: Hello masters... Please I need help urgently.. I am trying to apply online for my study permit... I don't know how this email thingy here works. So i am unable to view your email. The questionnaire is in pages. From what i can see, You have completed the questionnaire already. Ignore what ever is not there. Stop stressing yourself over nothing. Information on your academic background and work experience will be required in form imm1294e which I presume you must have filled already since you were earlier asking questions on "funds available" in the form imm1294e. Forget about paper application, and focus on your online application cause the paper application forms appear to be getting you confused. Ayodeji787: Cc Deane
That's how d stuff I filled was. Nothing about my academic background or work experience was asked. Please help. Thank you |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Deane: 2:42pm On Jun 02, 2019 |
If you are submitting online, You don't need to print it out. It's the first set of forms you fill before getting to the stage where you are required to upload your documents. So If you are at the stage where you are required to upload documents, then you must have already filled the questionnaire. Anytime you log into your profile, you should get a prompt to save and exit questionnaire. You can also review your answers to the questionnaire at anytime before you submit your application. While the questionnaire requires answers on academic background and work experience, i do not think it requires information on why you chose your program. That's for your statement of purpose/letter of explanation. Ayodeji787: Thanks so much. I'm grateful. Please is there anything like study permit questionnaire that I will print online and fill with hand and submit in my online application? Cause I'm seeing people submitting via paper route adding study permit questionnaire that ask why they choose the program, how they know about the program? If they have academic qualifications or work experience relevant to their proposed program?
Please I will email you now. Thank you
