I don't know about government Aminu, but private organizations deal with skills not certificate most times. So if you have the desired skill, you are good to go with most private organizations. It is important to know that most Nigerians attach value to certificates, I mean anything starting from a degree certificate

From my experience a Cc would compliment a traditional University certificate and some would def employ you with a Cc cert because they're assured of your skills not the paper testifying to it, but so far that isn't the case in this country yet. Reverse is the case if it's a tech cert though.

Don’t mind that EVC of NASENI, but on a serious note the former EVC did a wicked employment at thy minutes to the end of his tenure, the new EVC may not be able to employ again for the next 5yrs. When the former EVC was going he decided to marry his personal secretary and worked her transfer from NASENI to nitda after causing alot of havoc. All will be fine!

Before you quote a reply pls learn about Budget planning fr employment.

They don't employ without fixing an allocation for any candidate, they hv deir portfolios...

Before dey employ u, they must hv calculated ur earnings, esp packing allowance I.e calculatin the Kilometers of address on ur CV to new location shall be givin to u, which is normally called first-28days e.g Lagos-Abuja.

It's either u cm fr swapping thru backdoor or they find someone to replace it.

HR won't agree to it if u like bring in a PhD holder of dat course, he'll be happy knowing they is void space. Don't joke wit Govt workers, they do the unimaginable.

Your result is a camouflage in the Govt office (Except health line), ur ability to adapt is what they need if u don't hv any job experience... My Cousin is wrkin in Abuja IRS, Dept of Taxation, but he studied Electrical Engineering in the Uni....

I heard the last recruitment was quite based on merit and had very strict measures going forward after the 1st online test.

Just wanted to be sure if this was going to follow same process.

And if not, make I quick dey find connect o. My score wasn't very encouraging. I scored 17. I wouldn't know if I will be lucky.

Its very crucial for a friend of mine trying to choose between NDLEA and a Commission under Fed Min of Edu.

Last week he was offered an Appointment with the Commission under Fed Min of Edu.
With GL 9/2 but amount of the salary was not mention..

Secondly.. Just yesterday he received a text from NDLEA to go to Abuja for Interview/Screening on 17 June.
NB: his name was not on the list Shortlisted on PDF

Please could anyone help us by stating which among the two Agencies has more advantages than the other in terms of good working atmosphere, salary, career progression, allowances, bonuses and etc..
