I recall your cost basis is pretty low. I started buying at N950...and my cost is now N1200 but I still buy a little quite frequently. I am very bullish on the untapped (pardon the pun) potential of our quite immature(pardon the pun again) palm oil industry.

These last few days have been crazy for my portfolio. Excited for that frontier index thing that is upcoming because of how it deepens liquidity, but I hope this rally calm down or even retraces soon. I have no use for 100%+ aradel in such a short time. Make e calm down while we accumulate over the coming months.

I have never filled this mandate forms. I have never missed any dividend in all of about 20 stocks in my portfolios.
I guess brokers have ways of linking this to the registrars. It can only be a concern to me the moment I have a new stock and dividend is not paid.

I think they charge 250 per share mandated. That’s what I used.

Same. Until last year, I didn’t even remember what time the NGX opened. I previously dabbled once in 2017, sold almost immediately and forgot about it. I also believe the market will do well if any of the opposition candidates win since they are all pro-business.

The late Buhari was an anachronism that devastated us unnecessarily.

Companies that Coronation Registrars is their registrar is automated for dividend payment.

It may be automated to the wrong account. That’s how they sent my Aradel dividend to a company account I opened in 2017 and forgot about (instead of any number of personal accounts I have). I don’t even know the full account number.

I mean the shareholders number is your Customer ID number on your trading app.

I was honestly expecting Aradel to get to 1500 around December this year. While I love my stocks to explode, i like them staying down for many months while I accumulate (like i did for GTB between 88 - 100) since it's not like i want to do anything with the money if it shoots up 200%. Aradel is currently almost 40% of my portfolio though...so I think I will have to forget about buying more for now

After looking at the revenue and profit break down I am starting to change my view about the company. I am definitely adding it to my watch-list BUT I cant buy an oil company when the price of oil/gas is at near record highs.

Let blood start flowing and who knows, this might just be my next darling. That refining business is super sexy

Aradel is growing its gas segment too because the opportunities are insane, and it underscores their efficiency (they make sure they process associated gas from their drillings). That's why i got into them in the first place, though I bought more of Seplat recently because i can see that the future of Seplat is bright.

LPG is a national policy. By the time most households begin to use gas for cooking and NLNG benefits from their increased capacity to supply their new trains, what do you think these companies will be doing in revenue> I honestly believe we are still in early days for O and especially G

Why do you keep saying you are bearing on O and G? Nigeria is a gas nation. nd Seplat/NNPC will do magic as they unlock. We are rapidly building out gas infrastructure with many more coming onstream. Seplat will supply gas through AKK pipeline to power stations and factories in northern Nigeria, as well as contribute their quota for the naija-morocco pipeline. Europe is on her knees begging for gas from Africa and if that naija-europe pipeline ever gets done, indigenous gas companies will be making ritual-level money...and SEPLAT is right there are the foreforont with their ANOH gas plant. You may be bearish on oil, but our gas prosperity has not even begun

Well, na the same company and shares. These things have a way of balancing themselves across exchanges, so just surprised at the opposite behaviour today.

For eg, yday, it was exactly $0.1...which was the N135 that the NGX version was trading at at about the same time.

What does the CBN do with the results? They read it first to check if its correct? WIll they send it back to the bank to rewrite if it's not what they want to see?. What exactly are they looking for?

Banks results coming so late started with this Cardoso CBN, April is now becoming the new normal for FY results to be released, they are forming as if they know how to scrutinise Banks.

Back in the days, we used to have some FY results in February of the following year.

CBN can be more efficient I beg, time is of essence

I am very bearish on oil and with Seplat trading with a PE of 25, you need to have titanium balls to buy at these levels

WAPCO trading at 240. Glad i bit the bullet at 160 - 190 instead of waiting for a pullback.

I mentioned it as a great way to get it 'cheaper' if you don't want to buy at 10500. Arbitrage trading may likely not be profitable after costs

It won't stay cheaper for long though. People will still rush it there and close the gap.

Currently trading at 5 pounds on the LSE...which is about 9160. More than 10% gap.
