the nation is in the grip of a fuel scarcity that's cost us billions in potential revenue, due to lost man hours and missed business opportunities. but buharis son is so jobless and irresponsible that his preferred means of entertaining himself is to waste resources in the midst of scarcity. an act that clearly flies in the face of reason and good taste. was he deliberately thumbing his nose at Nigerians for our suffering and smiling? what does this say about his level of maturity? if only his father had been competent, there would likely have been cars on the road, preventing his accident. now, the nation is spending even more of it's scarce resources to treat the victim of his own stupidity. hmm. diaris God. get well soon, so we stop spending needlessly on you. OK? |
Merry Christmas … Let's have a standard basis for the scorecard. We're rating the state govt, with the local govts of the same party. What are the key performance indicators for the govt? What are the correlations between these kpis and the general party manifesto? What progress has been made since being elected? What are the kpis for each ministries? What LGAs got the highest allocation in 2017? What are the incomes earned within the period in review- igr, allocations, loans/bonds, bailouts? What is the correlation between the kpis and the year's budget? cc lalasticlala, mynd44. |
You refuse to impeach a president; fine. It's a messy affair; too many problems with supporters and stakeholders and all the various cabals and king makers that got him there. So it's quite alright. But. Your minister of petroleum resources is utterly incompetent and irresponsible, yet you and Dogara, leaders of the entire nation's legislative arm of government: You lack the courage, willpower or simple sense of responsibility to demand his resignation?! What kind of utter buffoonery is this?!? Of what use are you if you remain silent during a national crisis? You want to come back from your vainglorious holiday to make a few silly little speeches about empathy and probity? It's become clear that while the executive arm of government has lost it's will to live, you are- simply put- a waste of space. Whether the emasculation was carried out by others or, unwittingly, was self-inflicted: the loss of your manhood is wholly your concern. High time it stopped affecting 200 million people; we're well beyond accepting excuses for your impotence. Let me be clear: You've held on to the belief that mere platitudes and your reliance on divide-and-rule tactics will continue to serve you well. But I make you a promise- This current dispensation is the very last foray you both will have into the nation's political sphere. You're doing a sterling job of showing us exactly what lame ducks look like; so the next leaders of the two houses will be chosen by the citizens of this nation. And you both will drift into complete and utter obscurity. This is a cast-iron guarantee. So as we enter the campaign year, forget about any attempts at redeeming yourselves; put your affairs in order; ensure that any and all issues relating to mismanagement of the nation's resources by your persons or subordinates are properly resolved. Otherwise, you will be hunted down and brought to justice. And you can take that to the bank. But I expect you to scoff at this unofficial 'sack letter'. -------------------- To the constituents of these two men; and to those who may hold them in any regard, better give them notice- their time is up. |

People have been rejoicing that dollar is falling against naira. And that there's so much forex, banks are unable to buy all the cbn offers. It was all artificial. This cashless policy simply caused people to pull their cash out of banks and transact directly. Most of us don't know just how big our economy is. The banks have no naira to buy dollars because those who used to deposit daily have simply stopped. That's why there was naira shortage. Moving forward, anyone who knows emefiele should advise him to focus on mobile money- Phones, Web and POS- to reduce use of physical cash. And to include the unbanked who're up to 25 million. And he should leave illegal cash to law enforcers. This economy is too sick to waste time and resources on silly policies. konfused: |

Everyone has a right to life and by extension, to self-defense or self-preservation. Unfortunately, most of us don't know this. Once legal authorities fail in their PRIMARY duty to protect the lives of their citizens, we reserve the FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT to protect ourselves. Spread the word. vislabraye: |
It seems everyone has forgotten that buhari is the grand patron of the NATIONAL association of cattle herdsmen. Democracies usually require any elected/appointed public official to declare likely conflicts of interest. And then remove themselves from such conflicts- by leaving one of the institutions. Did he? originalKsp: |
