I just got back from the GTB branch where i registered for BVN. They requested for my BVN and confirmed that my card was ready. I was told to pick it up next week. Maybe you should visit your bank for enquiries. SlowlybtSurely: Do you know anyone who could get this letter from GTB? |

I asked if i culd transfer to a Bank of America accout, they said I shld fund my dom acct. I just left them, wats d essence if I ve to buy dollar from aboki and pay to gtb? mcheeeeeeeew. Ona related note, I understand that GTB withdrawal rate in US is closing to 400 as at y'day. mumzt: Very very untrue. The person has no clue about Wat ure asking. Pls ask anoda staff or go to anoda branch.

Congrats dear, God bless the LO. AdomMum: Good evening NL family!
Help me thank God ooo....my LO arrived exactly 2weeks ago at 37wks 5days but sorry i've been busy learning how to help her latch and stop her from crying plenty due to hunger...and as a FTM, it has been alot of hardwork...lool!
Had mad cramps all thru that night i could barely sleep but i thought it was BH contractions/false labour since i was just 37wks gone.
By morning the contractions were gone and i was all agile as if nothing happened. Thank God i had docs appt that day so went to see the doctor, a midwife at the office checked me and said i was already 7cm dilated. Omo na so they said i have to be admitted to the hospital oo.
Labour was for 20minutes. Vaginal birth; no epidural. Oluwa was totally involved!! I listened to Dansaki re by Lola while doing the pushing business...lool!Great Song!
Used Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond, VA. I prepaid $2300 to the hospital Dr- $960 (Delivery + 1st Appt)
So far this is what i've paid...waiting for detailed bills frm doc n hosp... hoping no further payments have to be done ooo...i will keep you posted!
Staff of the hospital were extremely nice!! Midwife was professional and easy. Doctor couldnt make it cz i had delivered befr he came.
To God alone be all the glory, honour and praise!!!!!! |

Damsel, pls can i pm u on a related issue? damsel020: 2nd missionary journey fully activated. Travelled on Sunday with my son used Emirates and he was of his best behaviour, did not stress me at all POE Experience:
CBP: hello madam what are you here for (starring at my stomach)
Me: Am here to have my baby
CBP: so u had him here also
Me: Yes
CBP: did you pay ur bills?
Me: offcourse I did
CBP: how much cash do you have with you today?
Me: $5,900
CBP: he wrote I/A on my customs card ( immediately I knew it was time for secondary inspection) he said madam step forward an officer will come for you.
When I got into the room, it was full with all sort of people waiting to be called, I sitted for a while and an officer came out and called all nursing mothers into a room, but my son was well behaved and no one noticed us, we just maintained our sit, I was surprised when I heard my name after about 15 mins.
2nd CBP Officer: we exchanged pleasantries. And he asked what am here for?
Me: to have my baby
2nd CBP Officer: so how much do u have with u?
Me: $5,900
2nd CBP Officer: you had you first son here? Yes. Did u pay ur bills? Yes I did. Can I see the receipts please? I gave it to him, then he asked for a receipt showing the total amount paid
Me: I told him there is nothing of such, that you pay different health providers for services they have provided so there is no way to get a cumulative bill.
2nd CBP Officer: oh I get it . And he stamps me and off I went.
I headed to agric cos I declared food and I told the man there I have food only in one bag and he asked me to open d bag, I had onion noodles and Oriental(one over sabi read the back of Oriental and discovered there is chicken written on d ingredients) and they were going to seize it, I just told them d chicken is only in d spice, dat can they take out the spice and give me d noodles, which they agreed to, they also seized my knowr.
2nd Testimony
Hubby went for his interview on Thursday.
After exchanging pleasantries.
VO: what are u going to do in the US
DH: To join my wife for d delivery of our baby.
VO: Then he started asking him what he went for in d countries he has previously travelled to
DH: official training
VO: he handed over the white paper to him and told him to pick up in 3 days.
No document was checked not even bank statement. After doing whala to go and pay Doctor fee and hospital fee d previous day and he had to print at the embassy that morning. In all we grateful to God and the wonderful people of this thread. Coming back to share my mum visa testimony next week by God's grace.
Thanks guys. |

Other post were 2015 which i have been there, now am asking simply of recent information, i have my visa, getting close to travel and i think asking if there is any recent info is an offence. I already said i learnt from what i read. If you dont have info, then skip it. |

I started reading dis forum religiously in June and i can tell u dat u'll gain much more by reading thru d posts, u may restrict urself to part 4 alone, but later on, u may need to read part 3. Pls Read, read and read. geojay: I asked a simple question here and i see some people laughing, oh so serious. Am i expected to go through part 1 to part 4 where part 1 alone is 400 pages. I saw houston was mentioned most and Dr fagbohun was mentioned as well which i have used him before, so that is why am asking if anyone know of any other doctor. And i asked of accomodation info, but i realised some people just choose to roll off their bed. I read from part one till part 4 till this particular post for days, that was why i thought this will be a good forum to ask. But since some people choose to make mockery of themselves, then goodluck to them. |

The pain was not here o and the contractions were 5mins apart.Hospital was 20mins away. Immediately I got to d hospital, I began to push. Before I entered labour room, baby's head was out.got to the hospital 9.52 and had my baby 10.02.It was a miraculous birth.no time for epidural.Haaaa!!!!! God is faithful. Baby is healthy. Thanks to God. |

Yea I took my tests results to Dr D, he still charged me $270 regardless of the fact that I did most of the test(the 270 is a flat fee), you also pay separately for the scan which is 150(not covered by his cap fee). Lady G, how abt those who actually applied for B2 visa from the onset and got b1/b2 visa stamped on their passport? I shld kuku take my DS-160 along to show them wat i applied for, abi? LadyGuinivere: Yes it is. The law is clear. This is our country. We reserve the right on whom to allow in. We have guidelines on what steps you can take to be allowed in. People now walk the grey line and wish to have all go easy peasy. From your story, she was not maltreated. She had a doctor examine her so it was determined she was fit to return. If her fundamental rights were breached (which in my opinion it wasn't) she can decide to contact her lawyer and they decide the appros action to take . But all that na outside America cos like I said earlier, they reserve the right to let her in and she wasn't. Stress? Her rights end where the rights of country starts. It is reasonable to know that travelling during pregnancy comes with certain factors. She took that risk. Her doctor certified her fit to fly. She was aware of immigration laws. When you add all that, mbok she has no cause of action. If on the other hand her visa was acquired for birthing purposes then it would be unreasonale to deport her and would be an international incident . You can even bring in discrimination and bias in.... Nigerians, the solution is total honesty. We have given ourselves bad names patapata. See the man even knew our default story sef. I busy. I write letter. Letter of intent o ogwo nno oya? ( Is it the solution to all?) Our country is messed up and we are all hustling for a better future for our kids. So let's go the extra mile to secure it. #myopinion |
