Before now, I’ve been a Xiaomi fan. My back up phone is Pocophone F1 (Xiaomi), I was among the first to use it. Preordered in 2018. Was delivered in November.
Still super strong till today. It beats my Samsung A70 anytime any day.

Recently I decided to try iPhone, so I got iPhone 12.

I made a transfer to a man whom I buy bulk knitting wool from, but he told me that the account have been frozen and he doesnt have any plan to go and unfreeze it cause he have gone to the bank four times they didn't unfreeze it.

Depends on why it was frozen. If it's by the order of the court (Mareva Order, Garnishe Order, EFCC/Police Investigation etc), the bank can't do anything.

But if it's just PND (Post No Debit), due to minor issues like disparities in BVN details, incomplete documentation etc, it can easily be resolved.

Only the man can disclose Why to you.

I'll advise you write to your bank asking for a refund. Copy CBN and other necessary agencies, even if you don't get your money back, you'll get at least an appropriate response.

I forgot to add, the screen resolution is mad!

I currently don't have any tempered glass on it as I've ordered for my 9d tempered glass

So am carrying the baby like an egg, no rough play till the tempered glass arrives

Performance wise: it accepts anything you through at it with all pleasure

However, the screen is very very very slippery! One needs to be very careful

When I placed my order no tempered glass yet

If you're ordering please add tempered glass preferably Mofo 9d tempered glass

It's among the phones slated to get Android Pie

But MIUI 9 that's adopted for Pocophone F1 looks very much like stock Android so the bloatware isn't much

The battery life is awesome, I don't take the charger to work and am a very very heavy user

The music player made me ask myself why I didn't switch to Xiaomi since?

We are expecting stable MIUI 10 for Pocophone today, some regions already have it via OTA

I don't have energy to flash any ROM so I will jejely wait for OTA

The phone is a pure beauty

The phone is not that slim

With a 4000mah battery it's expected

Region: I chose Nigeria, however if you want the favila recognition to work, change region to India or Belgium it will work.

Fingerprint is enough for me for now till they remember Nigeria

The phone came with a small silicon casing courtesy of my supplier.

The phone is just a replica of iPhone ex with nudge, bezels etc.

Most people always ask if my phone is an iPhone X and i hate this

I hope Xiaomi can stop the copy thing, they've already made a name for themselves

I am an ardent lover of quality Chinese phones.

As far back as 2010 I started using a Lenovo phone, it wasn't common in Nigeria then.

In 2015 I purchased a Meizu M2 note and did a review here on Nairaland

Before the economy made my little hobby difficult, no thanks to dollar rate that almost quadrupled

Since then, I've been relegated to tecno products - phantom and Camon CX

I've had my struggles, maybe because am biased

Now, you can imagine my joy when on August 28, 2018, Xiaomi announced Pocophone F1, it's specs were mad! Azzin madly mad!

I immediately preordered and after a while my baby arrived just last week, like I expected, the phone is a BEAST.

3 series is nice to drive but Beemers have terrible reliability. If you're willing to put up with any issues the BMW throws at you, buy it. It's a much better car than the Corolla, reliability aside.

Or you can get a Mercedes W203 C Class. More reliable than the Beemer and still a considerably better car than the Corolla.

Forgive me HeavenlyBang, I will draw you back a little. After seeing this your comment I did a little study on 'W203' basically Wikipedia, lol. Can you state a particular model or year as reliable as the King of reliability (Corolla), I don't mind downgrading from my former choice of Mercedes

You don't buy a sedan for off-roading. The C350 is a sports sedan. The ES350 may be better but if my ES330 is anything to go by, it's probably also low af. I haven't driven the ES350 on bad terrain, so I can't tell.

Especially ES350 has a more reliable drivetrain. 2GR is excellent, and I'd trust it to not sheet the bed way more than I'd trust the M272 or M276 on the Mercedes.

Lexuses are generally a lot more reliable and will handle more abuse.

I've driven SUV for over 9 years now (Rav 4 and MDX), I want to try a sedan. The off road will only be occasional, would have actually gone for RX350 but somehow I don't like the shape personally. (Am biased like that).

If you can afford it, get the 2011 C350. Much better car.

Mark Levinson on the Lexus is excellent, probably a bit worse than the HK on the MB, though.

How about it's off road abilities, is it very very bad?
Maintenance? Can it take any temporary abuse?

E.g: am very careful where I do my repairs, if my car develops small fault and am in say Owerri where I know no reliable mechanic, I would prefer to manage it down to Lagos then fix.

Can it handle that?

Planning to change my Acura MDX latest December. Before now, Mercedes Benz C230 to 350 (07 to 10), were my options but reviews and complains is giving me double mind

Lexus ES350 is very common so am considering it

However, I might need to be doing long distance travels at least once in a quarter next year and am supposed to drive on some pretty bad roads plus Lagos bad roads. The Acura is a beast on any bad road.

Between the MB and Lexus what's your take? Or any other car you might suggest?

P.S. it must be a luxurious vehicle, top notch sound system is VERY VERY, VERY, IMPORTANT. Durability is also important
