Uyi Iredia: You are likely spewing out what you heard. Read Because I'm Involved by Ojukwu. And prepare to change your mind afterwards.
That is the wackest book of all times. The only point I learnt/garnered from the book was that he corroborated Adewale Ademoyega's assertion that he knew about Ifeajuna's plan to carry out a coup.
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu Is The Mandela Of Our Time(with Memorable Pics In The Army)!!!! by debetmx(m): 8:57am On Dec 09, 2013
How can any sane person who is not under the influence of "IGBO" compare ojukwu to Mandela?

How do you compare hell-fire to Heaven? Even Wole Soyinka who some stupid/ungrateful flat-heads have called names just because he is Yoruba, suffered more for the ibos more than that CANTANKEROUS COWARD.

I Knew you won't be bound on Nairaland against using derogatory word against the IBO, But this goes to show secret mind of haters of IBO . Keep pretending but your people and their pretentious love for one Nigeria is false . You knew you are fake for 50 years ,you knew you have no natural love for your fellow so called Nigerian citizen's . you knew you are not real .
I only quoted late Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola who your fathers killed on January 15, 1966. Who is going to bound who? Holy Spirit. lol

I only love people who love me.

I have always told you to stop smoking "IGBO". You will soon run mad like that rabid dog, deludedgull.

4Wilywily: Yes there was an SOS, Yorubas were killing each other inhumanely accusing Akintola for causing their miseries, and wanted him Dead by all means,
ibos like other more than they like themselves. They died and suffered so that we the Yoruba people could have peace.

don't mind the jokers.they always think that they are wiser than others. what was Ironsi looking at for 6months, that he could not pronounce Awo as the PM. Ironsi was part and parcel of the coup, he was the major benefactor of it. they actually believed the tales by moonlight story that the sissy ojukwu released the great Sage.
I don't believe and/or agree that Ironsi was part of the coup. Like Nnamdi Azikwe I guess he was tipped off not to go home that night after the party in Maimalari's house. biafra revisionists have always said he attended another party after Maimalari's, which party did he attend? Yes he was the major beneficiary of that coup.

If ojukwu released Awolowo, who released Dr. Michael Okpara? The only people that ojukwu released were the January 15, 1966 coupists to enable them prosecute his stu.pid war.

superstar1: thank God Awolowo was in prison, they-blood thirst and power drunk tribe - would have murdered him too over night. providence protected him for us before Gowon released him. he died in his sleep at a ripe old age. God bless him for us grin grin grin
No they were going to release to make him Prime Minister. They had actually sent a plane to Calabar to effect his release.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo The Secessionist? by debetmx(m):
T8ksy: So akintola who was a regional premier had the power to jail Awolowo in calabar? words fails me!!!

Come to think of it, that was his (Awolowo's) saving grace 'cause am sure had he not been set up and incarcerated, the ibo coupists of 1966

would have found a reason to have him murdered too. Awolowo has always been a stumbling block to ibo covetous and hegemonic agenda.
That wilywily guy dumb gan. His elder brother, deludedgull is even more dumb.

God bless the late Sage.

Phinity318: I had intention of opening a similar thread like dis, since its alreasdy here I wil just narrate my ordeal wif scammers.

I was a young entrepreneur, made alota money then,I was into mobile techs, resides in minna.
One fateful morning,I was on ma way to buy a spare battery for my laptop when a gentleman neatly dressed walked up to me and narrated how he was robbed by some lady in lagos, how his dollars and some document were stolen,I felt pity for him though.
At the end he asked me for a strange addres of one woman although I grew up in minna I have never heard of such place before.
While we were talking a man I dint knw walked up to us,he was listening to what the stranger was saying all along, the man adviced that we should help the other guy since he had mentioned stuff abt bringing goods; which comprises of laptops, tvs, eletronics and stuffs and that the stuff only needed clearing.
I later agreed to help,to cut the long story short, frm clearing goods we started talking abt buying chemicals to wash off some kind black paper money. The man called the chemical to be "Idigio 8 oxide." Jiz,maybe I was jazzed buh at the end of the day I had invested 100k in the business.
The black paper money was washed in my presence and I saw 1k notes.
I was already imagining how I was going to spend my own share of the washed 120million.
Fastforward....I went back on the day we were supposed to share the money,lo and behold they were no where to be found,I asked around but was told that they parked some days ago..

Like say dem comot evil spirit frm my body, naso my eye come clear say na ADVANCE FEE FRAUDSTERS...I just knew that there is no way one can make quick money.
This scam don tay for Lagos even before I entered University in the late '90 s. I remembered one who came to meet at Oshodi and asked me for an address that never existed. I told him to take a bus to Ikotun, from Ikotun he should take a bus to Iyana-Ipaja, from Iyana-Ipaja he should take a bus to Sango. He said it is not there and I replied you know it's not there and you are asking for directions. I guess when nobody paid attention in Lagos they moved to Minna. Me na omo igboro.
CrimeRe: Have You Ever Been Scammed Before??? Share Your Experience. by debetmx(m): 9:46am On Dec 06, 2013
pappilo: I can recall 2 times where I have been scammed. i.e. the person set out to scam me and not cases of business transactions gone sour or friends refusing to pay back loans.

I was attending lessons for GCE and on this fateful day I decided to stab lessons and instead pay a visit to my friend in the hood. I alighted from a bus and as I walked towards his house, I saw 2 chaps playing table tennis with on"obviously a "novice". He kept majorly lifting the ball up and the other kept smashing him out. As I walked past them they got into an argument about the scores and the better player reached out to me and said to me in yoruba "bros abeg help us keep the scores, This my opponent is an igbo guy who just stole his dad's money and is betting it all away but he cant even play". I agreed to do this for them and the other player was so poor I was wondering why he chose to bet. Anyways I helped them keep the scores and the better player won. The novice paid his debt and I made to walk away.

The winner then spoke to me in yoruba again "bros dont you want to chop this magas money?" Then I had that light bulb moment. I could easily turn my N50 transport fare back home into N100 so I agreed to play a game betting my N50. The yoruba guy then said to me " give him 15 ahead to entice him to play". I was an average tennis player but having seen the novice play, I knew I could beat him even with my eyes closed. Yes he was that poor.

I gave my money to the yoruba guy and the igbo guy gave his to him also. I served first and the novice smashed me out! Scores 0-6 (16). I assumed this was a fluke and I served again. The novice smashed me out again, scores 0-7! This was when the penny dropped. I immediately feinged an illness and told the yoruba guy I wasnt playing again but he said to me in yoruba "bros you don bet already, it cant be cancelled". I carried on the game and tried my best but it didnt stop the novice igbo guy from winning without me scoring a single point.

I left in shame and as I walked away I noticed everyone in the area looking at me. The bastards knew what was going on and they didnt even warn me. I walked to my friends house but he wasnt home. I had to walk several miles back home as I had now lost my transport fare. That is the one day of my life when I regretted stabbing school.
You be real ase. The hood I grew up na real zanga, the only people who can scam me will be my family members and very close friends.

dapipson: Are you people saying none muslims don't drink alcohol ? U will be a great hypocrite if u say they don't. Well, That's not my problem, but why must someone be forced to carry out a religious duty? Why must he be forced not to eat or drink what he so wish? If he goes to hell, how does it affects you that is forcing other people not to take what they feel is good for them? Please, help me check that god.
God bless you plenty. May you days be long in IJN.

They are bleeping bunch of hypocrites. Taking medicine for other people's illness. Must I share other people's religious belief? Or because Mohammed was a teetotaler I shouldn't drink alcohol? Let me have my frigging drink and go to hell, bloody hypocrites. The level of debauchery that happens in the North is legendary.
RomanceRe: She Is Seriously Tempting Me by debetmx(m): 2:51pm On Dec 05, 2013
macof: This is disturbing

Islam is bad for women and gives no freedom to the feminine gender.

Lil girls are thrown into marriage at 13

married females(at wat ever age) wearing black hijab over their whole bodies under the hot and above 40° temperature causing rashes and disgusting skin conditions.

Foolish, shy, timid and unexposed women in their families that are brought up like second class citizens in their homes.

Husbands lording of the woman without her dare say a word about wat she doesn't like out of fear.

Beating women and causing injuries on their bodies without consequence to the man

Mujah you are evil and may u suffer for this thing u posted. Imagine the wickedness of this guy.
Islam is not bad for women at least where I come from, Muslims in my family respect their wives and are married to just one wife.

Yoruba Muslims don't marry away their daughters until they are about at least 24 years old.

My Muslim cousins only wear hijab to the mosque and/or Islamic programmes. Even one them was the youngest to do her asalatu in their mosque.

Yoruba Muslims don't treat their wives as second class citizens.

Christians beat their wives too.

Mujah is the Nairaland spokesman of Boko Haram/Al Qeada.

I guess it was original coz the label and bottle are similar to the one above. Bought at a wineshop on awolowo rd. so I believe its the real thing. And YES it was my 1st time.
I immediately Drank 3 litres of water after the symptoms started and that probably saved me from a sudden demise yesterday.

Samar1: WHY ISLAM PROHIBITED AlCOHOL.
Alcohol has been the scourge of human society since time immemoril,it continues to cost humam lives, and couses terrible misery to millions throughout the world.
Alcohol is the root couse of several problem facing the society :
1.cancer of oesophagus
2.Hepatome
3.cardiomyopathy
4.Cirrhosis of liver
5.peripheral nueropathy.
There are several scientific reason for the prohibition of consumption of alcohol, the maximum number of death in the world related to any one partcular couse is due to the consumption of alcohol .
According to national crime victimization survey bureau, usa, in the year 2005 alone an average 2713 rape took place, the statistic tell us that the majority of rapist were intoxicated while committing the crime.
PROHIBITION OF ALCOHOl IN BIBLE.
1.wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
proverv 20:1
And be not drunk wth wine.
Ephesian 5:18
There are so many reasons why islam condemn ed alcohol, therefore kano state is wise enough in destroying such social virus (Alcohol )!
1.wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is decieved thereby is not wise.
proverv 20:1

It is not wise to fetch water in a basket, so someone who fetches water into a basket has committed a sin?
And be not drunk wth wine.
Ephesian 5:18

Must you get drunk with alcohol?

The Governor of Kano State is wise enough in destroying social vice (alcohol) but the government is not wise enough in destroying poverty and corruption?

Keep deluding yourselves to suit your belief.

Christianity condones promiscuity? Your hijab covering hair girls are worse. Do you remember what I posted in that thread about the destroying of alcohol in Kano State?

Mujah1deen: who defined underage marriage?
Islam doesn't condone sleeping around
Neither does Christianity condone sleeping around.

I want a yes or no from you. Is it proper for a 13 year old girl to get married?
RomanceRe: She Is Seriously Tempting Me by debetmx(m): 12:35pm On Dec 05, 2013
Mujah1deen: 1) I'm not preaching, I'm only showing you the truth, it is still up to you to make the right decision and choice

2) there's no way someone can marry your daughter(s) without your consent. Islam does not condone kidnapping or rape. Maybe you don't trust yourself

3) your own bible asks you to cover your hair and to dress decently, it baffles how far christians can go to paint Islam black, maybe you missed that part sad , so can you exactly tell us why you are against covering your hair and dressing decently?

4) A Muslim man can only have up to 4 wives. Please don't tell me polygamy is not practiced in your culture or that you don't have polygamists in your family, besides in your own bible there are enough polygamists to show you that there's is nothing bad or evil in polygamy.

5) Islam does not condone terrorism and terrorist groups, your boy will join groups according to the kind of education he received @ home.

And Allah knows best
1) Go and show the truth to your Boko haram and terrorist brothers first, when they change then come back to us.

2) Christian condones molestation and kidnapping?

3) Where in the bible are meant to cover their hair? Please don't say what you don't know. Dressing decently is a function of you home training and personal choice.

4) Polygamy is not allowed in Christianity and because my grand-fathers have more than one wife makes it proper.

5) Are you sure? People say they were promised 72 virgins in heaven (hell).
