It is common knowledge that absolute power corrupts, and it corrupts absolutely. Therefore, be it military or civilian govt, it's imperative to critically look at the principles guiding the political actors. It is evidential that the so-called african style of democrazy is no different from a military fashion - take Nigeria for example. What dividends of a true democracy does the black man enjoy really?

Was Mugabe govt a military one? Was Ben Ali govt a military one? Is Paul Biya govt a military one? More so, other forms of African democratic govts being run by recycled retired army generals continues to suppress the African mind.

It's important to bear in mind that we blacks have our own inherent issues of interrupted development/civilisation, which locks us in a vicious cycle of underdevelopment. We're now at a crossroad, faced with the choice to stick together to apply our African solution to our unique African problem, or remain divided.

Yes African solutions, military rule is not a solution, it is accepting enslavement... people should be thinking of valid solutions, calling for military is childish, because the freedom you are complaining about now that is missing will be worse.
