It is wrong for a woman to raise her hand on her husband or a man. What is this world turning to? By the way, some of you women are just hypocrites! If its a man that beats up a woman, some of you will come up with the popular "no real man should beat his wife" etc etc-AND DAMNING ANY REASON THAT LED TO IT. But now its the woman that is returning the honours, we want to excuse the action (oh, na woman she be) of the woman and look for reasons behind the action. No wonder. Both the Christians and Muslims as well as churches and mosques are harmless and unarmed. They are always at the receiving end. Why don't these groups meet at a particular piece of land (since they have the arms) and fight themselves for supremacy of whatever cause? Why pick on unarmed religious people? If people were licensed to carry guns about and defend themselves, do you think these groups will exist? THEY ARE BOTH COWARDS! |

I fully support Iyanya on this! Yes, maybe he was extreme but when are we going to draw a line in this "free to express your opinion" thing sef? People use every medium of free speech to say the wrong things about others and expect the person (which the speech is directed to) to bear it. Its high time people start taking responsibility of what they say. I remember trying to discourage a friend years back who was so confident about carrying drugs (due to peer pressure) to this country in particular. They have been this serious to the drug issue-AND YES, THEY HAVE THE RIGHT! But its like we don't learn. Look, it was a serious argument to discourage the dude cos he has so many assurances that it will go well. Thank heavens, visa issues did not allow him go.
