When drivers are cashing out, in December for instance, because we all know December is sure unlike the red seas we see now that I can't explain... Do drivers drop any extra?
Now drivers are cleaning out and some still tell stories. Greed is a bad thing bros. The disdain guys have for car owners here is amusing if not downright absurd.
Life is good when the money goes round
You know there are weeks that for some reasons business won't go as planned, but driver must still find a way to pay car owner. So it's not always rosy, contract is contract. 25k weekly surge or no surge, rain or no rain.

You still don't get it. If you are faithful /committed to that rent, definitely the car is coming

Faith is evidenced by works/actions . Whatever is required.

Lol

If a driver works hard, saves and is determined to buy a car, he will buy it.

This is the basic formula, Baba mi grin

If he likes he should drive the partner's car at 20km/h, avoid flooded areas and bad road. If he doesn't save up and is determined to own his own car, he will not achieve it.

grin
God bless you my brother. All these are nothing but superstitions

So I guess partners can never have extra earnings

grin grin
Never. As a partner, your input has been calculated so is your output, Fixed. cheesy
Driver's output varies because his input varies.

Ok .....let me break it down to u ....... We drove to Radauto to go fix the car..... It was not for anything personal .. He knows the truth.... It was the day that he came online to say I didn't buy him food etc ....the day was mainly to fix the car.........

Now think about it .. His rental was 20k naira .. So I will now pay him 20k for a day that he said was for my personal runs.......

I didn't even want to reply that statement..... Your rental is 20k a week and I will pay u 20k a day....smh

He knows the truth.... I feel I shouldn't have to explain anything .. But it seems u took him serious.......

Smh.........
Lol. The same way you decided on your own how much to charge him for your car is the same way he decided on his own how much to charge you for his services grin
P.S. My comment is not to show support to any party, I'm just a spectator with a bowl of popcorn cool

If you are given a direct tokunbo or a very sound car. Then 30k rent is a fair rate.
If you are hardworking, you should be able to get that.

I agree with Pearl too, any driver on rent that drives the car with utmost care and not being reckless and irresponsible with the car( going anywhere, packing heavy things on the car) will soon be a car owner too.
Can you scientifically or mathematically prove this grin

When the driver nets 100k weekly, and pays his 25k, is the driver too rigid?

Asking for a friend... grin
Partner has more to lose, so partner should be more flexible in order to protect his/her investment.
Driver that nets 100k weekly knows what he's sacrificing to get that, things that money may not buy so let him enjoy his extra earnings lol

Bosses in the house, I hail o.
A driver has been working from Monday till Thursday afternoon and his car was hit by a particular company motorcycle. The company accepted to pay for the cost of repair of the car.
My question: Does the driver suppose to pay rental fee for days the was used (Monday - Thursday) or not?
Why not?

Chief...just drive someone's car like its your own. Nature still works man, if u do good, u will see good.

There is no law that u must enter a terrible road or flooded street just to make money, there are a thousand and one streets that's not flooded. If u know u r d one that will fix the damage then u will not enter the water. I don't blame partners that share repairs with driver, it's for this same reason.
When there was partial lockdown, everybody adjusted. No partner will still insist on full money, but this one or two days flood shouldn't cause any stir because driver will make up the money as soon as he gets back on d road.
Partner never asks for more money when there is surge everyday for 7days straight.
Even though rental agreement is on 6days, partner never complains when he sees his car moving on tracker for all 7days.
So my statement is for all drivers who want to prosper in any life endeavor, not only driving.
I don't support drivers mismanaging partners' cars in any way, I drive all cars like my car, even my enemy's if there's one.
I'm just saying we shouldn't be too rigid in all we do.

I am really surprised that alot of guys here boost of making over 30k a day here, how come 25k remittance to car owners is recommended? Meaning the owner of the car of 2.5M is only getting one day of work. Or it's not possible to make over 25k a day? It doesn't seem fair to car owners.
Loud it grin
How can drivers be making 200k a week and be paying owner 25k. Are you paying tithe?
Lol, we will all be alright

First you put out an advert that you need drivers for uber/bolt

A lot of people would definitely call you that they're interested.

You'll let them apply, and when you finally get someone your mind goes with, let him provide verifiable guarantors, usually 2, then you both agree on your terms.
Terms in terms of weekly remittance and maintenance together with other things you'd like the driver to know.

Talking about convenient weekly remittance, it varies, 50k could be convenient for A while it's 70k for B, but on a general neutral note, it's 25k weekly payment.

With all these said, you're sure to have your car up and running with steady influx of funds.

However, I'm an experienced taxify driver with active account and I'm in need of a vehicle on rentals, I'd like to work with you hence making this whole process less stressful. There are people here who can vouch for me.

I anticipate to hear from you.

Thanks

Any driver that enters an obviously deep water in the name of "rent must be made" is wicked.

Tomorrow is car inspection day.
Your comment should be for drivers with good partners. What do you have to say about partners that are hell bent on collecting full rent despite seeing how the streets of Lagos are?

Guys, Bolt calculation don kolo. The 2 images refer to same trip.
When the trip started, the I told the woman that it was better we use either Ojota or Gbagada. She agreed. Minutes later she said we should use Sheraton Road, and we that she had called her son who was at home and that he said thats the best route. I tried to convince her that that route was the worst. She didn't bulge.

On getting to the route, she began to lament.

The trip actually took more than the time bolt app shows.
I was shocked to see 6600 cos that was the original price if we had spent normal time to get there. Immediately, I asked for price review and put 8k. I didnt wait to calculate the amount. But I was sure it should be more than 8k. Minutes later Bolt adjusted the price to my review. I called madam and after back and forth, she paid the rest.

The other attachment is my calculation.
Obviously, it doesn't pay staying longer ok trips these days as Bolt will only base the final price on the main estimate.

Guys, learn from this.
Is bolt now 130/km? And where did the 3,024 come from?

Good morning Guys,

The cases of fraud from Riders to Drivers is on the rise.
If u suspect a Gboy or Runs girl or anybody, ensure you get your alert before u let Rider go.
That's what I do if fare is above 1k.
Nobody goes to buy something from a stranger and does transfer and leaves without seller getting alert and confirming payment.

Also, post all the phone numbers of Riders that have scammed u, (the ones that haven't paid yet as we read this post) let's all save these numbers and have a directory so we can avoid or know how to deal with them in the future when our paths cross.

What they do now is after Bolt/Uber blocks their account, they use a friend's number to open another account and continue their atrocities. But one thing is when they request, they still call u with their number first because the number on the App isn't theirs.

God will continue to keep us from temptations
I almost dropped one guy's number here not for people to call him to pay but to save it and attach my name so whenever they pick him they can alert me so I will come from wherever I am (if road is free lol) and deal with him, but he called and paid (1200).
It's a good idea at least drivers can be prepared for their antics knowing the kind of rider they picked
