I beg to disagree with this to some extent... feels like small engine cars consume more gas on free truck A road compare to truck B and truck C road and same goes both way.

If I drive my 2.0 engine car on the express I noticed the difference with my civic. The Civic gas burns faster, but hardly burn in traffic.
It's because you have to rev higher to achieve your preferred speed while driving a 1.6 engine, compared to 2.4 engine. Big engines are suitable for highway/long distance driving while small engines are good for stop and go kurukere waka lol

Well said boss. It is the Nigerian pull him down syndrome. In advanced countries, when people break new grounds they are admired and studied.
I've been using indriver for over a year but I learnt some things from his posts and he's barely a week on indriver. I will put what I learned to use if I work on Sunday and see the difference. In this life, we can never know it all, we stop learning only when we are dead

How about the parking fee in d airport.
Or if u r picking from legend hotel to Ajao axis. Who pays for the tollgate??
My point is if you're picking from international airport to anywhere. You have no business using the toll gate when coming and when going. The only money you'll pay is for car park

He said using Indrive at the airport, meaning picking up from the airport not drop off.
And if u are coming from Ikeja to international airport u will pass tollgate, so who pays? Or Caverton to Ajao axis.

Generally, Indrive gives default route that avoids known tollgates. But it can't be always avoided in reality. That's why Banana island to Lekki is almost 3k on Indriver.

When I use Indriver, I tell Rider they will pay for tollgate and airport parking separate. This is pre-agreed before I even drive to them or tell them were to find me in d carpark.

Failure to do this, u risk bearing the responsible for those payments.
Not If you are going to pick up. That's why I said unless you're dropping off. If you're coming from ikeja, instead of turning left to the toll gate at the toll gate roundabout, just fo straight to the car park. There's an entrance there too but people rarely use it. They will rather pay toll fee and use the popular entrance. Going back to ikeja you still use the same back exit and avoid toll gate

Parking fee at any of the terminals.
Best practice is to add it to the fare before you accept. If you a trip is 3500 normally I will slap 4200 on it to cover parking fee

I really don't like using Indriver at the airport. There's always this argument about who pays for car park and airport toll.

I had to educate one yesterday.
I assume you're talking about international airport. That toll is not for people coming to and fro the airport no matter where you are coming from and going to. Unless you are just dropping off

You don't understand indriver. That trip isn't for you. There's someone closer to her. Let the person take it. It's why I NEVER do fastest finger. I must calculate. Someone closer took it.

You're 43 mins from her. Where she is to vi is just 36 mins. 2700 is not fantastic but it's fair. A little above 30mins
When you see a trip that qualifies, do you always accept the price or you bid higher sometimes

The fares I see on indriver lately are ridiculous,

Imagine airport to VI 2,700 is that not madness

And amazingly before you say jack "trip has already been taken" I come dey wonder who dey accept these shitty trips
Trip is taken doesn't translate to trip is taken for 2700. Trip might have been taken for the highest available option as well. Some riders intentionally pick a price way below the recommended because they know even if they put the recommended price drivers will still price higher. So riders like that are prepared to accept the highest bid knowing it will fall within the recommended range

Yes o nobody should come abroad to be driving trailers o .. Na from pot to frying pan , Abi na from fire to frying pan grin ..... U no drive trailer for Lagos grin but u want people to be moving America by driving trucks grin no be juju be dat grin

Musa 2.0 how the truck driving going ? U remind me of 1 of my guys.. This is even before uber existed and many Nigerians were driving cabs .. Cab drivers were cashing in weekly weekends especially ..........

Na so my friend hear say money dey for driving cabs grin. Na sa he go get his cab license ..

Omo After 2 days of driving and moving the city. My guy quit the job grin. Nobody go tell u wetin dey there until u reach there grin

Another story .. 1 of my guy dey do nursing . The wife dey do nursing too ... While going to nursing school he was importing trucks, Mack trucks dump trucks , heavy equipment.. This was early 2000 , he was doing well o ... This is during the time they were sand filling lekki area . It was a big project at that time, I had dump trucks too. I was buying from him ........

Omo once my guy finish his nursing school and pass his exams .. He lamented his certificate on the wall of his house..... From there on he never step foot into any hospital to use his nursing degree... He faced his importation of trucks and heavy equipment full time.. He has never done any 9 to 5 Job.. He said he can't never do it .......

About 2 years ago he completed building his own house in Yankee.. He built it from scratch up. He bought the land years ago and started building his own house..

This is a 6 bedroom house and keep in mind he didn't built it in a village area in Yankee grin. This is not an area that you buy house for $150k grin u now do 4 IT jobs and pay off the mortgage and invite your friends for house warming celebration grin. Houses in that area can cost up to $ 700k upwards o ......

He said he didn't come to America to come and kill himself and work till he died.. He didn't come to count bridges.. He is a correct Igbo man from the east. Not even from Lagos grin

Make we dey try to invest in our selves too . And teach our kids entrepreneurship... No be to be slaving for another man company o
What do you do sir, you have always been telling us about what your friends are doing but never tell us about what you do. You also keep asking people that travelled on this thread to tell us how they managed to japa but you never for once tried to tell us how you did yours. I'm not attacking you o but kindly simply do what you preach, and stop making jest of people that tell us what people are doing over there at least if you can't enlighten us on what is turning into money there. cool

Maybe na me no sabi English again but if a company is named Pearl and Gabrinchi, does it not mean that there's a Pearl and there's a Gabrinchi?
I no wan take sides but the way I see it, you're right. IF the pearl is truly the pearl we know here then this pearl is actually the gabrinchi while the real pearl is someone so close to gabrinchi's heart that he has to use her name as his NL moniker. She's either gabrinchi's wife or sister.
