ModelLook: People stop patronizing BOLT.
Some Bolt drivers have become CRIMINALS.
When you order a ride. Bolt shows the amount for the trip and a driver pops up. When the driver comes, and u tell him the amount bolt brought up, he starts complaining that the amount is TOO SMALL and that you should increase the money.
Some would keep complaining in the car for u to increase the money while telling u to end trip so that you both can run the trip outside Bolt. Like they want it to be a personal Order-And-Pay Ride without the knowledge of Bolt.
While some will end trip and say they are not going.
Infact right now, most of them are just using the Bolt platform to get passengers so they can run their personal business with you outside Bolt.
When did that start?
For some others, they would insist you should not pay to Bolt and that they want CASH. Most of us configure our apps for Bolt to take the payment from our credit card but these drivers are ready to fight with you if you choose that option. Like seriously, when did this one also start.
Some Bolt drivers have become CRIMINALS
I would make a comprehensive post on these and more and put on a thread to enter Front page for others to see and share their own experience and for the government to take notice off.
Some Bolt Drivers have become CRIMINALS that's why most of their drivers are not making money as such again because Bolt and Uber patronage has greatly declined.
I am thinking of forwarding this case to a Top Commissioner in Lagos state whom I recently met so that they can BAN BOLT operations for good especially now that they are banning OKADA riders.
I know alot of passengers have similar or far worse experiences with Bolt.
This daylight robbery has got to stop. Mtcheww. See as this one just wasted my precious 2 minutes |

Felicity001: .
By the way, that signage is not even well explained, what's is the meaning of "no entry from 3pm"? It's better said "no enter btw 3pm-12midnight" or so... Not no entry from 3pm... That's nonsensical... Then after 9/10pm you want to arrest me for what exactly?? There's only one 3pm in a day. Once it's past 12 midnight you're in the next day so it will no longer be regarded as one way. Police has stopped me there before at past 12, I told them it's not yet 3pm. After looking at me like zombies, I had to show them the time that we're in a new day. Dem leave me make I dey go, but the next driver wey no know anything go pay sara money |

If you notice, your check light would be blinking while his will not even illuminate at all. I'm talking from experience too |

sandammy: Please experienced gurus help me with this car issue. My civic will just stop accelerating while in motion. The first experience was on third mainland bridge while coming from ibadan. I managed it like that till I reached Lekki then after it cool down a little bit it was normal after I restarted the engine and it rev as it used to
I never encounter anything like that again since then until yesterday while I was on a trip it did same thing. I have to manage it like that till I finished the trip because. Once it start the speedometer won't go beyond 40 and will diminish once the road is no a level ground. No matter how hard I press the gas, it won't just respond.
I've scanned the car and there is no fault code registered on the ECU. I've also Google search the problem but no specific cause.
Abeg I can't continue with this wahala and be comfortable driving people up and down putting their lives and mine at risk Fuel pump. I may be wrong |

Pearl1910: Lolz...but that's d truth. Person wey no believe but get small sense can do d analysis. How much fuel does that car consume today to n fro IB without AC, no traffic. Divide it by 3 cos we r paying almost 3 times that price for an even substandard fuel with lower octane levels. If this Indomie generation new how cold and quick evaporating fuel used to be 20years ago they will not even argue or doubt what I am saying.
If d person hasn't done that trip before, he can still use theory to check what I say; Berger, Lagos to Challenge, Ibadan is about 100km. To n Fro 200km 1k fuel at 65/litre is 15litres For a car that does 13km/litre on highway, your 15litres will carry u 195km.
Donfortune, come n jot things down Na me get small sense ba? No wahala Why remove AC and traffic from your analysis, there were cars with AC then even the ones that didn't come with factory fitted AC had it installed here and traffic back then was worse compared to now especially during redeem programs unlike now that they have brought it under control. 165 divided by 3 will never give you 65 unless you're buying fuel @ 195/ltr now. Let's be precise because few kobos can make a big difference. Now you're using outskirt of Lagos to outskirt of ibadan as your case study, I live in egbeda and I usually go to apete area after sango. Why not use that? So my dear friend, this time no amount of modification you can make to that your assertion that can make it right. Just admit you're wrong, you never like to do that even when it's clear you're wrong instead you'll be shifting goal post just to appear right |

I experienced one today with a lady and I almost wept.
Btw, when does bolt pay out bonuses? I thought I heard every mondays? It's almost 2wks now I never hear from them. Abi them no dey pay bonus again?? Before you call the rider, you will first check the map to see where the rider is and how long it will take you to get there. If it will take time but you still wish to go and pick up, call and inform rider.. Hello, I'm at sososo place and map says it will take me sososo time to get to you, coming is not an issue for me but can you wait? It works for me 99% of the time. As for bolt, if your balance is not up to 2k don't expect anything that week, they will help you roll it over to the following week |

YeyeGbami: I agree with you, as long as that signage no dey there as warning anybody with time will win this case. If they want me to go to their office I'll go and tell them to charge me to court.
They can keep the vehicle till we settle the matter, but no be everybody get that time and energy. We need to normalize contesting these offenses. There was a guy who won oshodi local govt in court for arresting his vehicle for one way.
Like you said fear fear dey hold most people. I heard about the guy that won oshodi local govt case too. I think if these agencies should be made to pay huge fines too if they're found guilty then this illegal activities will drastically reduce. That way many people who know their rights will contest their actions knowing the compensation will be worth the time spent |

ReadaDream: Guys approach with caution... Now they said felicity hoodlum removed the signage , that's none of my business if I happened to be the one they apprehended. How long will it take them to replace it or since there's no signage there why can't they stay at the entrance and be directing vehicles not to enter (which is their main duty in the first place) but as corruption has eaten deep into their bone marrow their brain will never tell them that. We take too much bullsh#t in this country. It's true there are some things you cannot pursue legally and it's simply because there can never be a concrete evidence. This one will only take nothing but a lot of my time but I will 100% win the case. So it's just a question of can I afford to waste such time |
