Epphy: Yea @ tojahh & Tyche
I just remembered an idea that came to my mind recently. Although some companies tried it in the past. It is about bringing marketing into ehailing cabs. Having screens to market products plus entertainment in Uber/Bolt/OCar rides. 'Our company' will be acting like a marketing/advertising agency. Modalities can be worked out if the idea resonates with what we want. Why did they fail? That will be a good start |

Before I know, 3 men Don jump inside. I no know whether make I decline trip immediately
But I dey fear say them fit strangle me, so I just begin drive without complain
God dey save us wey dey drive for night Driving without complaining doesn't change their mind if their intention was to strangle you. If you feel unsafe you could simply turn off ignition, remove your key and step out of the car. Keep a distance and ask them to come down. Prepare to run fast just in case |

kodred: If the trip fails, use the estimate from the rider’s app and do + or - depending on the traffic conditions.
Then do a review. Deliberately not reviewing and collecting the estimate from the rider’s app is cheating.
People don’t see it as cheating though. They see it as ‘God catch you’ because you lots are too vindictive. Bros, just mind your business you hear |

izzou: I have never experienced this stones stuff since I've been eating local rice oh
People have been complaining, but I'm yet to experience it
The only difference I noticed about the rice is the grains are shorter(abi smaller) than the foreign types. Have you been the one preparing it? The person preparing must have been doing an excellent job separating the stones from the rice |

Foxie: Christmas Bonanza!!!
In the spirit of Christmas, I'll be doing comprehensive insurance @ 1.5% of car value with a well-known insurance company.
This will be for a limited period. It starts from December 21st. Contact me for more details. 0708-884-6626. For Vehicles in Lagos only.
N.B: You know if you're driving without your vehicle comprehensively insured, you're doing yourself a lot of disservice, especially in a place like Lagos. Why are you hiding the name of the well-known insurance company? The name alone can further boost people's interest in your offer |

izzou: God bless the pope
I remember when I said I don't use phone holders. Some said it was pride, but I had a feeling then that uber work go soon turn goldmine
As you get familiar with routes, don't hang phones. When you start a trip, scroll through the map to know the suggested route, and keep your phone. If anyone stops you, tell them that you aren't an uber driver. Simple.
Na corolla people dey at risk sha. Every corolla is a potential suspect I saw them at eko hotel roundabout yesterday, my rider sat beside me so they were confused. The guy was looking at me I no even shake. Sometimes they read your face if they notice fear they will stop you. They ended up stopping the car behind the one beside me |

Freshprince91: I experienced such this morning, had to wait for 30 minutes after 2 restart . Bro, what can i do in a situation whereby i took a rider somewhere and he's in a hurry for a meeting (Visa interview) and at the end of the trip, the fare reads 2800 on a 2hours journey (23.8km)? He obviously can't wait for a review, so he paid 2800 , if I were in such situation, i wouldn't jeopardize my chances of getting a visa out of this shithole country but my mind tells me the fare should be 3k because of the previous trips with sane distance and time. Or is the fare correct? Maryland -Walter Carrington. Sadly, that's the correct fare sir |

dru23: It is one thing to get a car for 500k Naira or less.. It is another thing to know how to maintain the car .. Nigeria or Africa as a whole, except for South African that I know of .. We lack maintenance culture.. And you know that uber and bolt riders will not tolerant cars that have issues at all ... in a situation that owner of the car will manage whatever issues the car has .. A rider will not tolerant that and will end up giving the driver a bad rating.. If the driver's rating is bad enough , he will be blocked until those issues are address.. By that time the driver has no savings in his account.. And he would end up looking for another car drive ...meaning he is now looking for a partner to get a car from ... And the circles continues and continues .. This is why car parts is a big business in Ladipo... until we change our maintenance culture , drivers will never be able to own their own cars successfully ....Most drivers can't even maintain partners cars ,so it is their own car they will now maintain? I know how much money I spend in taking care of my fleet.. Majority of owners could not do what I do ..... Total waste of my 90 seconds |
