kodred: Hmmm with the way things are, I wouldn’t really advise it except of course there’s some money stashed somewhere.
When repairs hit you for HP ehn, you go remember your village people. That's why I advised him to beat it down to 25k/week so he can save up for raining days, and to also make sure downtime is put into consideration in the agreement |

kodred: Not a bad deal. But HP can kill a man sha because you’d be solely responsible for fixing any and everything.
Rental is good for you to save some money first though.
If you have some money saved or you have a go-to person/people for funds then grab the deal otherwise, don’t be in a haste to own a car. If the deal is good then HP is better. HP keeps driver on his toes, not everybody has a saving culture. |

Like reducing the amount because am paying it in a year or accept the amount and spread it over 2yrs etc 1.5m is okay, try and beat it down to 25k/week and make sure there's room for downtime in the agreement |

adsmaster: Guys things are taking a twist. The new car I got that got bashed on the day I collected it for the previous driver(the day I was suppose to go for uber and taxify inspection) These was on Friday, so on Saturday went to panel beater, Monday sprayed it then took it to the office today because the fleet manager asked me to come. He said the owner of the car wants to see the car because of the recent accident complains.i went the guy didn't show up only for the driver I took the car from to call back and said they want to give out for higher purchase 1.5M to be paid for in a year.
That's N31,250 per week the car has not be driven up to a year they bought the car early these year my guy was the first person to drive it, not accidented car, the car is in great shape when he took it.. Even now it is just the two front tire, and the driver side tire hub.
Guys is it a good deal? Naija use 1.5Mto be paid for in a year If there's no down payment required, try your luck. Read and understand the Ts and Cs properly before signing the deal |

Freshprince91: At all bro, I went back home early, had some issues to attend to with my brother. Like i said, they fixed the another pump in my Ford Mondeo aka Evil Spirit and my brother has been driving it round since the week he gave me his. He embarked on some long journeys throughout the week ( Surulere, Iyana oba, Eputu town and all) and the issue of jerking and abrupt stop didn't occur again. Its just a week test run drive anyway, after fixing the third pump ( the other two had no pressure according to the Ford mechanic fixing it). So, i set out early this morning to see how it works, got a trip to Victoria island from Maryland and the rest is history (had to crash at my friends office at ikoyi around 1pm-4.20pm) Local man was yarning on the steering and hunger dey use my belle kick ball
Please, help me review this fare, if its accurate 100 % Accurate |

tunlapapa: Now this is when Uber will lose some drivers and end up losing trips/riders(riders will have to wait longer cos of fewer drivers online at the moment and the impatient ones will use the alternative). We are stylishly back to the era of 25% and drivers will continue to groan in pains for the there is nothing they can do(no union). Lol mad ppl, thank God I've looked away since the era of 20 trips. I can't imagine uber not giving 3% after working hard to complete 30 trips all in the name of suspecting your account without any fact. |

diportivo: my profound gratitude to nitigriti
after I posted that I was looking for someone willing to do offline from airport to egbeda,he responded
I quoted him, sent my number to him and asked him to sms me so I cld call him back...he didn't, instead he called me
the deal was to help ferry some ppl from the airport to dopemu, while I meet him up and pick those people.i told him the flight will land by 8:15
he agreed, told me he will do it for free, and at some point, asked me to send the address gangan instead on having to come meet him...ofcos I declined,as I felt he had done too much already
flight didnt land till around 8:30pm,and he couldn't even get to pick then up till around past 9....this man waited, patiently, while my people were delayed, called then with his phone to connect with them, and picked then up
not only that,he came all the way to shasha to drop them off, that was around past 10,and he didnt collect a dime
ahhh......even me,I no fit do am...I am not that nice
I just wanna use this medium to thank him publicly, even tho what he did was in private...I pray that he will see helpers in all spheres of his life...and that he will get countless favours from strangers
I mean,he doesn't know me, we have never said a word to each other on here and he still rendered a selfless service...despite not being an uber driver oh
I say make baba siddon make we do 1-1 for the road,he no gree....he reluctantly asked for "canned something" but they didnt av at the bar....I'm sure he was happy inside cos baba sha didnt want any form of gratitude apart from word of mouth
nitigriti........thank you so so so much God bless you nitigriti, I live in shasha too though got home around 1am. We could have tied you down and made sure you drink on the house. One good deed deserves another |

peeps4u: We learn every day. Drivers can cancel on their own and still get paid, but it might look dubious hence the request for riders to cancel. Like I said this thread will enlighten a lot of people. You can cancel and prevent your rider from being charged, it depends on how the scenario plays out. Rude riders always get charged |

adsmaster: Rental bro...... As a matter of fact he brought me into the game when I was having issues at my place of work and needed a new landing pad before relaunching...
He remits 30k and has always been Consistent,no Saks as a matter of fact he drive on uber platform. His target is 20k, yes 20kper day and he has 95% success rate in achieving that figure every day of the week. He said its mindset when I asked him how he does it, he said once you focus your mind, it becomes easy to hit it, nature will find a way to bring it your way. Please don't take away the fact that he puts in the time, lots of it if need be.
He is leaving for Italy on Saturday. He is going to school.he enrolled for a masters program in Rome business school, so with the one year visa in Italy his wife and kid will come to visit and spend time with him while he works on a strategy to settle down in any parts of Europe.
So it's possible to achieve it, that which you have set for yourself that requires finance from these hustle all you got to do is put in the work Motivation is the word bro, and focus as your friend rightly said. I don't see any better motivation than a mission to reunite with your family. I'm happy he made it and wish him best of luck in the next phase of his life's journey |

Also, we are tired of you referring any issue here with the one in your office. It's boring and annoying.

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by deedee44: 6:41pm On Oct 31, 2019 |
pocohantas: Are riders not charged for cancelling?
Because I know I had someone tell me to cancel- which I ignorantly did and I got billed.
So, if a driver who doesn't want to go somewhere and well within his right too, fails to cancel. You somehow think the rider is being proud for not wanting to cancel?
Smh. May the best (con)man win... You'll only be charged for cancellation if driver has already arrived or driver had moved a reasonable distance towards your destination before you cancel. So you're safe to cancel if driver lets you know he's not going immediately the request is made |

And will not adopt very simple methods to secure or advance your safety on the job
If you think being a disposable throwaway piece of meat is something to feel smug over, be my guest. Employees of smaller companies than uber have better safety on the job than proud partners
Kapish that on your next journey into a dangerous area Like your area? He will cancel and you will make empty threats as usual |
