Why do you think in the US they don't kill death penalty criminals right away sometimes they will be on death row for 20 to 30 years until all their appeals are exhausted so as not to kill an innocent person.

People have been released after serving 20 years or more in jail because with new technologies like DNA they discovered the person was wrongly convicted and they are released and compensated. Things like good roads, better education, better health care system which could improve life expentancy, 24 hours electricity, boost indigenous industries to reduce unemployment, improve our movie industry, replace english language with yoruba language as our official language and so on.
