DancingSkeleton:What! I dey hail. Your yabis no get pair. Very apt! It seems he now has a fish brain |
Is this what music has come to in Nigeria. Most of their lyrics have sexual undertones and are lewd. To imagine that innocent children dance to these songs because it is in vogue. Can't they take a cue from TUFACE |
Congratulations. This is good news |
And to imagine that the Liberian knew that he had Ebola before coming to Nigeria shows how wicked and selfish he was. He put a whole nation in jeopardy because of his selfish aim. |
Shio! Can you see where their show of shame landed them. I do not understand why our people think physical fights is the solution to issues |
These government officials seem to have adapted the word 'unfortnate' to explain these explosions without corressponding action sio! |
See am look like shrine. This drama went too far. I agree that you can force your belief on people but haba for his father he would have compromised and to imagine that those two ladies were stupid enough to be a part of this. They all, including Charly boy look like part of a circus act |
IamD rock: Yeah yeah. I think i'm getting to like Nollywood cos we are totally getting more civilised whenever i watch Hollywood movies all i see is advancement and now i am seeing that in nollywood. I know most of you guys will criticize her or something but wanna tell ya its her decision and hers only. We shouldn't be doing everything in old fashioned way. Very soon i am expecting a real sex scene inside a nollywood movie. We should stop being hypocrites. Anybody who supports me?I cannot understand why Nairaland will allow a crazy person looking for cheap publicity to publish his porn film should advertise on Nairaland. Your thinking is not even straight so there is no use talking about what you posted |
Well done Gov. Fashola. However we cannot say the same about the Local government chairman for this same local government. There are street that were tarred and they came to work on under the guise of constructing drainage. The roads are no more and the project never completed since 2008. I can give you a good example. Gov Fasola can send people to confirm this. It is not an allegation it is a statement of fact- Oyegbola Street off Kayode street. The matter was taking to Kako who is now the representative for that area and till now nothing has changed. So, dear Gov we are using this to appeal to you because the boys have vowed that ACN should not campaign in that area come 2015 |
the perpetrators need to be brought to book and I do agree with Chris Anyanwu that we need specialists in handling such matters. I speak as one who works in helping people who have been sexually abused. When caases come to us we hand the accused to the police and of course the victim. The statement is taking and most times the Police does not go to investigate whether the authenticity of the matter because of lack of funds in most cases. if any Oga at the top says its not true dont mind them. If you report a case in the police you pay for everything including paper to take your statement except you know one Oga. Most of the cases end up not going to court until after a year or more and most are struck out because of lack of evidence. The judiciary has its own wahale the cases can be adjourned till the victims get tired and stop coming so justice does not come to them. I am pained by this especially when the victims are children the trauma of that act has a far and long effect of them. Social welfare and all the so called women bodies fighting for women rights are not left out. when you work with social welfare women's affairs will say so you now go to social welfare. Arenb't we working towards one goal to ensure that how society is face from the abuse of our children and women. I hope somebody from the government is reading this. We you report the matter to the ogas who are mostly political appointees they wait till they leave officeand then the civil servants will blacklist you. It is a convoluted set up. So many things have to be overhauled. To handle these matters ministry for Youth and social development should operate as an agency to avoid all the bureaucracy of handling matters. Files keep moving from table to table while lives are endangered. |
Na lie |
Sun re May the Lord comfort your wife and children and your parents and siblings and grant you the fortitude to bear this loss |
kado: www.informationng.com/2013/11/lady-29-attempts-suicide-in-ilorin-over-unemployment.htmlWhat is he talking about? I do not support suicide it is a quick ticket to hell but at the same time frustration can push people to do anything. How many of these youth have they empowered in Kwara state? I thought he was going to proffer a solution that will help her. |
I really do not understand what is going on. the situation worsened since the take over. Most days the most we enjoy electricity is for 2 hours. to my consternation, they brought the bill yesterday. I do understand that change comes with challenges but nobody is explaining anything. I leave at Palmgrove and it has been unbearable. I am saying this for those in charge. When people begin to respond it will not augur well for those in charge now. At least carry us along on what is happening. |
tweetobyte: My gf fine pass 3 of them sha.. Anyway I wish them luck! And she is not listed here. That means she no fine reach bro |
The Lord who has started this good work in you will perfect it in Jesus name |

jp philips: the moment school kids are on break, the road will be so free, once they resume and those steering chested women return, oh my gawd! to join a lane, problem, one will just park by the road side trafficating like they forgot themselves, they don't know when to wait for an on coming vehicle, they don't know what a single flash of light means, they don't know what full beam means, kai, i hate myself during rush hours on PH roads.Seriously! Am disappointed at you male folks. Such unscholarly and unfounded utterances. mschew! |
runzlord: serously, nigeria women cant drive, they are just to scared, when u see a woman driving note that she is driving with one mind so take minutes before they make a decision on the road. If a woman is in front of you, you would almost cry, they would want to switch lanes, then they change their mind sort off, they become confuse and end of in the middle of the road blocking everybody at her back, and note she does this without traficating, in a nut shell an average nigeria woman drives like a learner or is a learner. Usaully when people drive like that or does not drive well, we at the back would just maintain and conclude it a woman thats driving and when the person finally allow us to pass, truly truly it would be a woman. Ive never be wrong on that. But the case is not like that in orther countries.I thought this site was for educated and enlightened people. When you make statements do not generalise except you have facts and figures. So you have no point dude |
Fine, there's corruption and all other ills but to add this to it. i can't even believe someone perverse says the attitude of the younger generation is changing towards homosexuality in Nigeria. When one of your siblings brings home someone of the same sex for marriage and you people accept then you can testify and tell us how it has changed your family. If not please lets face normal serious issues. Homosexuality is not an orientation it is a spiritual problem. God said he created male and female and male and male or female and female. The thought of it makes my skin crawl iyama |
wman: Funny how so many would love watching lesbians perform in por.n films & enjoy threes.omes with 2 girls involved yet they say they are anti-gay.where are the figures to prove what you have just said. Speak for yourself and do not say many people. If some people such perverse interests must it be saddled upon the nation let it remain behind closed doors. |
Well i am not a supporter of same sex marriage but how long they can hold on is the problem..Nigerians may not support it now but how long can this opposition hold.A lot of the younger generation is accepting homosexuality and soon the tides will change..The western Nations have the money and Media to propagate same sex ideologies and trust me Nigeria will be the new heaven for all these propaganda...every movie, song, news and sitcoms will feature a scene to help show that homosexuality should be accepted.. There is a way of science whereby if you keep reading or seeing a particular thing for a long time it becomes the norm....we were a nation where going nude was a taboo but now its the new way to define sexy[/quote Really! I will like to see your reaction of one of your siblings brings someone of the same sex as their intended partner then you can advise us. Till then keep mum |
Light Rail indeed! some of these governors do not live in the real world. have you seen the roads in Ogun State? Those of us that have lands and houses in Ogun State can testify. I went to a place called Magboro Some weeks back. Your guess is as good as mine. My exhaust was broken by the time I came out from the place and vowed never to return during raining season. It was an unenjoyable dance all the way. Let Amosun face and handle the pressing needs after all he has been canvassing for those who live in Ogun state to pay their tax in Ogun state. > |
thorpido: I don't think the problem is a father seeing the unclad body of a matured daughter.I had neighbors who were unclad in front of their father and it was never a big deal.thank you. Some of the contributions really confirms what I have come to know now by reason of my profession these things are going on more than we say or want to accept. A man started abusing his daughter at d age of 4 till 10 years when she innocently told mummy this is how daddy touches me. Is that a normal reaction of love. This child had to be relocated and d father has married another woman. Some of the contributions reminds of an adage that says when a corpse is carried past you it is like a log when the person isn't related to you. Its easy to give stupid counsel like some have until someone close to you is a victim. |
chuksbogus: to be candid, its normal for a father to get attached to the female child right from birth . as she grows up it increases giving rise to jelousy when he sees her with men and over protection.the issue here is how the father deals with and thats very important.the man went too far?but then, the girl shld handle it ,she is 19. since d father is geting help for that.she shld avoid being alone with him, she shld ensure she is wearing a well coverd dress at home.avoid those fatherly hugs and peck etc.over time it will wear off.telln the mother is causing trouble dat over time she will regreat if d problem caused by telling d mum get messy. in marrige u dont say everything you see ?my dear no matter how old you are this is not an issue you plan for. Age has got nothing to do with it. Anyone will be destabilised. It is not a normal reaction for a man to be attracted to his daughter sexually, the attraction he has is what you call that fatherly protection of your baby. The solution is for the girl to leave that house. Her father is spiritually sick. Why is he not moved by mad undressed women on the streets but he's moved by the undressed state of his daughter he's a pyscho or he was abused too. |
Guys it is not a fake story. I work with an NGO that deals with sexual violence against women and children and the stories will make you puke, some will give you sleepless nights, some will make you think this cant be happening in Nigeria but they are true. Over 90% of the cases we have are committed by people known to the victims-Dady, mummy, uncle, aunty, cousin, uncle in the neighborhood. The cases are horrendous. Its happening in Nigeria life and direct. |
alutacontinua: I GIVVUP ON THAT ORGAN CALLED P*ENIS!!!am laughing in my native dialect. On a more serious note, This guy needs help because whether the girl consents or not he will soon rape her. Tell her to call Media Concern an NGO that deals with prevention and crisis response to sexually violated or harrased people. She should call the helplines 0802331936, 08058207154 or 08099522487 |
Controversy: Who be that mumu woman with her big mouth open answering call inside church?Boy! You sure do lack proper home training. Does she look like your mate? Mschew! |
Dzany: they are the same profesion.....one is armed and vicious.........the other is usually calm and eloquent.May God forgive you. He that is without sin let him cast the first stone Mr saint. When you see something good rejoice. I don't like pessimists. |
tubolancer: we enjoy at least fifteen hours of electricity in my area, mind you i lived in lagos and i am not part of the laptops group. please dont ask me where i live o,i dont want anybody to come and put sand, sand for my garri, thank you.Seriously! I really wonder what part of Lagos you live, my curiosity is aroused. We have had two (2) hours CONSISTENT DAILY SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY around Palmgrove. Until I see the corresponding action in power supply. Don't believe nada |
