thats cool bro.... @miss Sim NB is not as cold as Saskatoon i tell u. yesterday the temperature was -4degrees in the morning by evening it dropped to a low of -29degree in less than 12hours.. with a serious blizzard... terrible weather if u ask me.

Mis Sim: @ deeman, yea it's quite cold ova der but am sure u will get used to it, just try to keep warm when going to school. that's if u havent gotten the eskimo jacket, winter gloves and all and ur head gear. yea it gets quite boring in canada, my first year @ newbrunswick was quite boring too, but am sure when you make more friends and u know places to hang out, it wudnt be that bad. summer time you and ur friends can even take a trip to calgary alberta for the stampede its quite big or head out to toronto for carribana( like a carribean festival) believe me u wanna be ther. study hard canadian education system is not as tough when you get settled in. uchi4jah: Klm royal dutch airline from lagos to amsterdam then to toronto. The immigration process and others are pretty easy. It took less dan 5mins to get my study permit.

From toronto I used westjet airline to saskatoon . All my booking was only on one ticket. I ticked yes in the question bout dairy , animal n plant product then wrote processed cassava into garri with a pen. They asked me nothing bout it.

deebla: I marvel seriously at those saying ayaba should have applied alone. If before the response of the embassy, she has presented her documents in this house, this same pple condenming her choice to apply with her family would have said "your application is tight, U ve got no problems". But now she's denied, everyone starts saying she should av applied alone. Nawa o.

As much as we all know, her application is tight... Though applications have flaws. But with her travel history and reasons for denial, it shows that it is possible that these pple called CDHC sometimes choose at random, applications to be denied and applications to be approved without checking through thoroughly. If travel history is part of what they look at, then how do we explain someone with no travel history that get visas?

I also perceive that the reasons given for refusal may be automated because, no VO in his/her right mind will say travel history is one of the grounds for her refusal.

Moral lesson: your documents quality is not a ticket for visa, only when God says yes

@Deebla Nigerians always go spiritual on evry little thing, humans are different and react to situations differently so if a VO denies an application its based on his own personal view and not the collective view of the whole VO's in the consulate.

and from the reasons given from his/her view it seems logical she is a student traveling with the whole Family, who would now give funds when needed to take care of the living expenses, tuition of the dependants and the primary applicant, since everyone is in canada and cant work

Turkish Airline is Cheap yes! one way ticket costs 285,000 naira, as against 245,000naira Ethiopean air offers.

you dont need an agent to book your flights you can do them online at their website Ethiopian air. its the cheapest with one way 245,000naira.

Yeah one way Ticket on Ethiopian Air Cost 245,000naira which is the cheapest so far and you can book online yourself no need for an agent.

But it wount do you any good to wait as if ur life dependent on this TRV, mione I got about 5months after applying. During dat period I just removed my mind as if I didn't even apply at all. And it was after I got mine that I discovered this thread on Nairaland. My dear cheerup if u ar wrking just concerntrate on that and remove ur mind from it ok.

Hello. House,@Kaycee got ur mail wanted too reply to u personaly but I feel everyone can learn frm my experince. let try to educate the house here about the applicant and sponsor relationship using my case as an example.
If ur sponsor is NOT your parents the VO's would be curious as to why suddenly out of the blues he somebody would want to part with such high amount of money just for you education. So try to establish a histroy with the sponsor by showing eveidence that the sponsor has been financialy involved with your education. For me all my Univeristy reciept I added with my application indicating at the back paid by my brothers name along with a letter from a lawyer explaining why my brother is my sponsor and purpose.
Then I included my statement of account 3mills as a secondary source of income.
Also never apply to CDHC indicating yourself as your sponsor u would never get that Visa.

goddeymydear: I'm flying united airlines. Paid about 280K. But keep in mind you need a transit/ visitor visa to fly united since they transit through the US.

@goddeymydear I learnt that if you hold a student canadian visa u don't need a Transit Visa when flying cause I want to go tru United airlines also. @Siga and any one else cause am also flying very soon...

Try to differ ur admission till May or September 2013 which ever is the next admission period. Cause those guys at CDHC Nigeria takes their time on applications they don't rush at all mine took like 5months I had to differ my admission
