DMerciful: When GEJ left office, it was N87, not N97. Yes that's true, at the eve of the 2015 general and precisely on 18th January 2015, GEJ unilaterally reduced the price of PMS from 97 naira to 87 naira per litre. Let me take another nap, probably I will see 87 naira in my dream this time around |

nairalanda1: It's a fun joke, but back in 2011, people like you would have been complaining about how GEJ has raised prices from N65 to N97 and how that means he was evil.
GEJ raised prices, for the same reason we are now removing subsidy. The amount spent on subsidy was consuming a greater portion of our oil revenue.
Back in 2011, the joke would have been you were dreaming Yaradua was the president, or Obasanjo was the president and fuel still cost N45, or even dreaming Abacha was in charge and fuel cost N11.
Subsidy removal goes beyond politics. Scam taken too far bro. When will the refineries be fixed? When will the new minimum wage come on board? Even the 8k will not get to all the target masses. How much is the landing cost of fuel to warrant the 617 naira/litre? I can go on and on with all these questions. You are talking about subsidy not to be mingled with politics but when GEJ tried its removal, politics came fully and visibly at the forefront. If GEJ was allowed to remove it then, by now we would have been better of. |

Politics › Re: Investigations Into Mmesoma’s Result Falsification Concluded — JAMB Reg by Deemas(m): 2:53am On Jul 05, 2023 |
Throwback: Even Oby Ezekwesili had to reach out to JAMB because she identified with her Igbo sister, but did not want to embarrass herself by going public if she was not sure of the truth of the matter.
She is rational enough and being in government before as a former Minister of Education, she knows such frauds are perpetrated with every exam.
The YouTube video where the JAMB official was being interrogated by a studio team, revealed that this fraudulent girl had used the available USSD code to check her result multiple times and it gave her the same feedback of 249.
It was her decision to fraudulently award herself a higher score using what some have now described as a fun App that is available on playstore.
Maybe she felt that was the score she deserved based on her academic past.
Didn't we all feel shortchanged by JAMB in our youth?
But we did not resort to fraud like she did.
Many who claim they will send this girl abroad do not know that this girl has damaged herself academically. Any lookup into her academic past in Nigeria will always bring this fraud story.
Her best option is to own up to her misdemeanour and well meaning Nigerians like Oby Ezekwesili to help her beg for leniency so she can take the exam next year since her valid scores for this year have been withdrawn as a penalty for the fraud. Oga, your best option is not good enough. Wait for the court to decide this matter. |

seunmsg: Mmesoma is an obedient. She learnt her fraudulent ways from Peter Obi. Peter Obi lost woefully but he’s still going around with his herd of delusional supporters claiming he came first. Fraudulent folks like Peter Obi are the ones motivating Mmesoma to still be going around and claiming she scored 362 when it’s obvious to everyone that she scored 246.
Hopefully, JAMB will not be coerced into letting things die down naturally. They should ensure she’s arrested and prosecuted for the fraud she committed. Wow, weldone judge Hatchet. When will you also order for the arrest of the snake in JAMB? |

It is always good to verify something before we also join others to post it online. The results that have been announced more than four months ago . It is not possible. Politics › Re: INEC Planing To Doctor FCT Presidential Election Result – LP by Deemas(m): 5:06am On Jul 02, 2023 |
duro4chang: That is insinuation. It can't be possible. We all have the results. Media houses have the results Peter Obi of the Labour Party won the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, with 281,677 votes in Saturday’s presidential election.
While he is yet to be declared the winner by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officials, the figures presented by collation officers indicated he won by a wide margin.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, polled 90,902 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar is trailing with 73,743 votes. Oga why are you talking as if you're not a Nigerian or not in Nigeria? Festus Okoye can come up and start telling you how there was an error in FCT's collation and how they have corrected it with APC having 25% and he will further say that the correction didn't affect the outcome of the result. |
