senatorbayor: After their aims are achieved, The same politicians who sponsor them will abandon them to their hopeless states again and the hunger and sufferings continue.
Until we have a genuine protest borne out of real passion for our dear country devoid of partisanship where people come out to deal with leaders who don't give a damn about us irrespective of party or social and ethnic affiliations .
when Saraki leaves eventually, the executhieves will play another kite that they cannot perform, cos their own man is not the SP. Another flimsy and cheap excuses of non performamnce start again and we will start chasing another shadow agian.
All what the executhieves craved for is just a rubber stamp NASS headed by men whose balls is in their hands.
How come CLO and others kept sealed lips when the executhieves budgeted outrageous funds for their own vehicles, feedings and presidential expenses including rent for Aso rock.
Where were they when the budget was padded, Fuel scarcity lingering, economy is logjam, govt run as secret cult where information are hoarded and no one knows the direction of the govt again.
God will help them to achieve their aims but God will then punish them if that protest have political undertone and not for the interest of the masses . Please answer, if the Senate is busy with work, will they follow Saraki to court ?. |

Henryjr: You are the biggest liar of the century to mention that PDP rigged to win the senate for BMB. I am from bayelsa(bayelsa west though) and I worked as an INEC adhoc staff in the 2015 general elections in bayelsa east n I can say here without mincing words that, elections were held free n fair n results were also presented to agents for signing in the entire ward(ward 12) in ogbia LGA (gej' LGA). that's y sylva didn't take Bruce to the tribunal even after PMB emerges winner at the central. It's true sylva was and is still more popular than Ben Bruce in the state, been the former member of the assembly in old river state, former chief of staff to late gov alamieyeseigha and also for been a former governor of the state. most people in the state knew Bruce only by name and achievement before the elections, but yet they voted for him because they believe he can offer the dividends of democracy. Bayelsans are very proud of Bruce and respected him as a saint with remarkable ideas and achievements outside the circles of politics and governance. I doubt if gov Dickson can stand against this man if elections were to b conducted between the two. In government for long |

Adminisher: LOL I am so very sorry for the amateurish thinking of young PDP supporters. They talk about vision yet don't have any because the mediocre Nigerian sysstem brought then up. Except for those in diaspora, I don't even like reading anything they write. The greatest weakness is that all they know about leadership is all that the sick system shoves in their faces as leadership qualities. This is why even these sick match ups will probably meet their approval. For the more k owledeagble and experienced, Ribadu does not have the intellect to be Nigerian president. He is young and he did a good job in EFCC and is name was in the newspapers a lot but that is it. Okonjo is experienced working in international financial institutions but that woman lacks ideological orientation to be an effective political keader. International civil service at the behest of global financial manipulators is not a qualification for political leadership. The US will never make the Head of the World Bank or Federal Reserve system it's president. We vote political leaders out of ideological orientation. Thank |

Nostradamu: God bless you for asking him, her (or it) this SENSIBLE question. Sorry Nigeria has been in this quagmire for years, sorry things are Fcvked up right now, sorry the future of the country seemingly looks uncertain etc. But, to make the country great again, we all have to try and have an ounce of faith in this new regime, as bitter as this pill may be --very bitter.
Also, what has the previous stewards of the state he's crying about done to alleviate the sufferings of our brothers and sisters from the south-south? Can they render proper account of monies allocated to them while they were in office? This month, the fed has asked that deductions from bailout funds should not be removed from source (to allow payment of worker's salaries, which some governors had squandered during the 2015 elections) before sharing money from the excess crude account. Tell me, what more can a government do to show that they want the best for this country?
Lastly, it's not as if i agree with all the policies of the incumbent president (at all), but i'm not blind to the fact that it seems (it seems cause four years isn't up yet.) they are making a head-start in reviving this Lazarus called Nigeria.
Irrespective, whether it's an igbo man, itshekiri, ijaw, fulani, Indian, Youruba, German that's ruling the country: God bless Nigeria. Thank you, how can a reasonable government be importing fuel to run our economy for 16 years wasting our money on importation and subsidies payment. If we are to progress, importing petroleum products an essential commodities must stop and refining locally. Money for subsidies inject on projects. |

SeverusSnape: How has the petroleum ministry fared under the present minister??... Why are there still queues all over the country till now??
I guess your topic is not related to the petroleum ministry, of which I said the person heading it is dull. Ask yourself a simple question, if we continue importing petroleum with the little money from crude now, how can we progress as a nation. The reason why PDP failed is importing petroleum products and paying subsidies with the money from Oil boom, nothing left for saving and project. Imagine that we are refining locally and spend all the trillion for subsidies for other projects. |
