PoliticsRe: 2014 Draft Constitution’ll Give Jonathan Fresh Eight-year Tenure –dalhatu by deeobserver209(m):
Though I disagree with some of the resolutions in the document, I still believe when implemented religiously will usher in a New Nigeria.
It's up to the National Assembly to rise up to their responsibilities.

PoliticsRe: ‘apc’s Criticism Of Jonathan Unfair’ by deeobserver209(m): 4:29pm On Aug 21, 2014
APC members practice politics of bitterness and anger. That sort of behavior will get them nowhere. The sooner they realize it the better for them.
PoliticsRe: 4 Reasons Why Africans Will Never Develop by deeobserver209(m): 4:18pm On Aug 21, 2014
I think one major factor that kept Africa behind is our Cultural mentality. When the mind is held hostage by cultural beliefs system and tradition, Innovation and the ability to create new ideas becomes an uphill task.
Every developmental idea starts from the mind. We must get rid of our negative mindset if we desire progress and economic development.

tuke: my brother, don't misquote me. let's read that report again. As a soldier,it's obvious, intelligence has been circumvented, putting you at risk. 'who is responsible' should be our first war. Real war start in the mind before you pull a trigger. If i succeed at disarming your mind, you are as good as dead, even with your rpg. The end is near could mean anything but be rest assured, evil may thrive, but can never prevail.
Well said. If only Nigerians will realize that warfare also includes mind control the better for us.

chucky234: Soldiers are not well equipped, Boko Haram flex freely with AK- 103 automatic rifles which is a lighter, modern and powerful assualt rifles while the soldiers are given accient and heavier AK-47 rifles with limited amunition.
I just returned from Shadawanka Barracks in Bauchi where I had the opportunity to interract with some of the soldiers who came in from Damaturu for the burial ceremony of my dad and other fallen soldiers, Boko Haram also cruise around in amoured Hilux patro vehicles and I was shown pics taken to buttress their claims.
So sorry about your dad bro. May his soul rest in peace. I also lost several relatives to Boko Haram.
What I want you to know is that Evil never Prevails against Good. Boko Haram will surely pay for their crimes one way or the other.

djfaithy: how are they winning, mind explaining to us ?
You know my original comments was to encourage Nigerians not be be afraid. This attack by Boko Haram lately is to cause fear in people's minds. The point is don't be carried away by these news.
I believe Nigeria will win the war against terror and its already happening.

onatisi: I won't dispute what u believe in but whatt gives u the impression tt that the nigeria army has this situation under control
In war situations there's what the military termed 'desperate attack'. Desperate attacks as the word imply described the situation where the enemy who is seriously on the defensive tries to create the impression that it's really on the offensive. They are willing to go the extra mile to do the unimaginable, like attack a barracks for instance. These are strategies used by the enemy to divert bombardments from themselves and buy time. That is exactly what is playing out in Nigeria's fight against Boko Haram lately.

Your comments are not surprising to me because I knew a lot of people will miss understand it. However I stand by my earlier claim that the Nigerian military are gradually winning the fight against terrorism.

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Germany (0 - 1): FIFA U-20 Women WC Final On 8th August 2014 by deeobserver209(m):
Germany is a great football country. Their male and female National teams are the best the world can offer at the moment. Their National team just won the World cup in Brazil. Sadly, not everyday can be Christmas because the Nigerian team are like hungry female lions. Hungry lions are deadly. Germany will put up a good fight in the finals but I see our Girls holding the Cup high up in the air dancing in Skelewu Rythm grin

(Don't like the Song though)

Sadly we lost to Germany again! sad sad sad
Our priority in the next tournament should be to beat Germany whether we win the tournament or not!!!

dalapo: When i was about 11 years old I learnt that science was based on one thing... EVIDENCE.

Although it's wise to have an open mind. I dont think it's wise to follow suit with Dr Lima and propagate unsubstantiated opinions and dress them up as fact.

I'm not saying your wrong but i'll say that without evidence that opinion falls more firmly into the 'paranoid delusion' camp than into a fact based scientific one.
My Opinion was not based on Dr Lima. Heck I don't even know who she is.

When Israel engaged Hamas about two years ago Hamas where like, yes we're re winning the war. Soon after the conflict Hamas suffered thousands of casualties and Israel lost 23 people. Even after the conflict Hamas believed they won the war.
That's sort of how Terrorist go about their diabolical acts. They employ the use of Violence and Media propaganda to cause Terror in the minds of the people. Remember the number one aim of terrorist world wide is to create fear. It becomes easier for them to manipulate people into submission. That's exactly what Boko Haram terrorist are doing. To make people believe they're are winning.

Don't despair dudes. What we are seeing is an act of desperation by the terrorists group to create the impression that our military are not doing enough. Do not be deceived! Boko Haram is getting the heat from our gallant soldiers. Nigeria is gradually winning the war against terrorism.

Note: All these news about our Soldiers not being well equipped might be a propaganda to deliberately cause anger against the Federal Government.

Pls Don't be deceived.
