PoliticsRe: PDP, Presidency Plan Shocker For Ribadu Reports The Punch by deeobserver209(m): 11:24pm On Aug 17, 2014
That's what makes PDP different from other political parties. smiley Just because a high profile person like Ribadu joined PDP doesn't mean he will get the automatic ticket. That will be unfair to other party members. Everyone will have to undergo primaries.
I guess this is the Lamentation threads the supporters of APC open to console themselves. grin
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Returns APC Membership Card, To Begin PDP Campaign Monday by deeobserver209(m): 10:57pm On Aug 17, 2014
tonytony208: he may not even be planning to win. He may just want to sow discord and disagreement among other aspirants. This may cause inner division in adamawa pdp and give apc some leverage to win the election
Wake up dude. You're dreaming
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Returns APC Membership Card, To Begin PDP Campaign Monday by deeobserver209(m): 10:51pm On Aug 17, 2014
tonytony208: try to read comments btw the lines before replying so that you will not comment rubbish. He doesn't need to leave pdp. He will remain there but will be undermining the inner cycle efforts of pdp.

Now, use your head to think for once. after ribadu's defection, the apc's spokesman was interviewed and he confirmed the defection. Considering how antagonistic ribadu had been to pdp, i expect that he will be very important to apc and that apc will be deeply hurt to the extent they will not want to comment about it. However, the apc's spokesman didn't seem to be bothered while confirming the defection. That is suspect! Something is not right somewhere. APC have a history of being bad losers. They would have said something bad about ribadu for defecting to pdp. However up till now, apc has not condemned ribadu's a
defection. I still feel this is a cover-up defection.
APC's still dealing with the shock of Ribadu defection, hence the silence.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Returns APC Membership Card, To Begin PDP Campaign Monday by deeobserver209(m): 10:44pm On Aug 17, 2014
RoyalRoy: Your thinking cap is fitted well on your head.

A Ribadu who went all around the north trying to woo the rebel PDP governors over, a Ribadu who has some level of integrity and has proven it times without number, a Ribadu who was running all around for Nyako not to be impeached suddenly now becomes disenchanted with the party under a month? A Ribadu who will clearly give any candidate a good run in the election not withstanding his party affiliation will not need to soil his name by decamping just to achieve that aim!!!

Will the likes if Bamanga Tukur's son, Buba Marwa and Fintiri, the current acting Governor sit down on the fence and watch a "newbie" displace them in a twinkle of an eye?

The APC have made no "much effort" to keep one of their best hand in the party and some people feel that's normal?

Have you peeps celebrating thought for a few seconds that Ribadu might not be interested in the governorship after all except to go and be a spoiler.

If he is fielded, then it might become a situation of fielding two APC members for governorship against each other!!

A win-win situation.

Only time will tell.
A lamentation thread will be open for you guys to cry your hearts out. grin

bushdoc9919: Man,you don't get it. A bad health care system,....and an underresourced health care system....Ebola just had an easy road in.

I'll leave you with this quote....maybe you will get it then.Plus...if you think African cities are hygenic....you better have another think coming!

Better read the quoted above....and the article where it is culled from. Perhaps you will understand what I mean.

Having problems does not mean one is inferior....it means one has been given a wonderful opportunity to solve such problems.

Ebola can be beat....and Uganda has shown us how.! Are we willing to learn?
You are entitled to your opinion.
Foreign AffairsRe: Armed Men Attack Monrovia Ebola Clinic, 29 Patients Flee by deeobserver209(m): 9:26pm On Aug 17, 2014
Onegai: Africa always had outbreaks of diseases. Yoruba people carved a deity to worship the god of Smallpox (deadlier than ebola) called "sopona", hoping that by worshipping him, he would spare them. I know other tribes had gods to different diseases, and others would chase sick people into the evil forest (I can confirm that happened in Edo and Delta states, in the past, under the Bini Kingdom).

FG stopped teaching History in school, so you never knew this.

Stop claiming "dirty no dey kill black man", that's the reason we're in this mess now. Because we CHOOSE to be ignorant and are happy in our ignorance.
Of course am not claiming that diseases don't kill Africans. As you pointed out we had smallpox, and other deadly diseases as well.
However my claim is not just vane. I read a lot of history books myself. I know the history of Ebola virus. I know the biological nature of the virus. So as far as am concerned, Ebola virus was biologically engineered and modified.
You're entitled to your opinion.
Foreign AffairsRe: Armed Men Attack Monrovia Ebola Clinic, 29 Patients Flee by deeobserver209(m): 5:40pm On Aug 17, 2014
[quote author=bushdoc9919]No plot, old chap....just lack of good preventive health measures....and the fact that health care in Africa is poorly funded and resourced....and we do not have enough healthcare workers....doctors,nurses, pharmacists, et al[quote author=bushdoc9919]Yeah that's right. Hygiene huh? It's logical to blame Africans for their poor living conditions and hygiene than anything else. However, what I want you to note is that Africans have been living in filth for centuries without record of a serious disease outbreak. Check history and you will discover that Africans have better resistance to diseases compared to other races.
Now that Africans are living far more hygienic than before in the 21st century, then suddenly we have Ebola! Is that not suspicious?
PoliticsRe: Ebola:Bush Meat Hunters National President, Accuse FG Of Wrecking Their Business by deeobserver209(m): 5:21pm On Aug 17, 2014
Africans have been eating bush meat for centuries without any trouble. Now the theory is wild animals are carriers of the virus. How come? How did the virus developed? Does it mean people should stop eating chickens and other domestic animals as well? This is Rubbish. I studied the history of Africa as a whole and that of Ebola virus and honestly there's no correlation between Ebola virus and bush meat.
I strongly believe Ebola virus is another one of those biological tools aimed at further impoverishing the African continent.
PoliticsRe: 2015: Babangida Endorses Jonathan. by deeobserver209(m): 4:59pm On Aug 17, 2014
Even though IBB will forever remain the Father of Corruption in Nigeria, he is on point this time. Goodluck Jonathan is the best candidate at the moment and has the right to seek reelection. That's his constitutional right. It's left for the people to decide whether they want him or not.
Those against the President seeking second term know very well they will lose. Too bad for them. Let them wait till 20...uhmmm 2035.
In the meantime GEJ TILL 2019 and NUHU RIBADU 2019-2027!

deeobserver209: Sometimes I wonder if South Africa is still an African Country. The way they treat Nationals of other countries is sad. sad
So it's South Korea? The headline says South Africa.
Anyway it's unfortunate these Ebola scandal has brought hardship to many Africans around the world.
Ebola virus as far as am concerned was engineered biologically and modified specifically to further impoverish Africa.
Foreign AffairsRe: Armed Men Attack Monrovia Ebola Clinic, 29 Patients Flee by deeobserver209(m): 4:38pm On Aug 17, 2014
It seems like there are forces who are hell bend in making sure Ebola virus spread to as many people as possible across Africa. As far as am concerned, Ebola is a bio engineered virus developed to further impoverish the continent of Africa just like they practiced in the movie: Resident Evil.

Nuhu Ribadu is a gentle man. I like him. Though he has a lot to learn, he will make a good politician under the Umbrella.
His decision to defect to PDP is perhaps, the best political move he had ever made. Once again welcome to PDP. The biggest and the best political party in Africa. cool

The above thread Headline is mis-leading.

There's more to life than just having girlfriend bro. Yes a person may feel lonely at times but that is usually when you don't have something doing. Just focus on your job. Improve yourself. Get involve in community service in your spare time. Touch lives positively and you will feel much better smiley
PoliticsRe: APC Slams DSS For Linking Party With Boko Haram, Sues Ogar by deeobserver209(m):
APC getting what it deserves. cheesy They thought they can go about dragging every government institutions down into their dirty brand of politics.
DSS already knew their tactics. Which is: To behave unruly, commit crimes, break the law, and then cryout to high heavens when arrested. In the process taking advantage of the opposition party status to rubbish and portray the Federal Government as intolerant to the international community. For God sake what kind of Party is that? APC is synonymous with lies!

Go DSS. APC has taken the bait. Teach these guys a BIG lesson. I have never seen a political party that won an election and still go about wining.
I said it yesterday and I will say it again APC is a Useless Party.

We believe your joining PDP is a realization that APC was a big mistake. A man full of integrity and wisdom has no reason to be in the company of supporters of APC who do not have any iota of ideology.
We hope that your wealth of experience will help transform our party, Adamawa State and the country at large.
May you live long as a bona-fide member of PDP.
