I don't condone corruption what so ever. Those indicted on fuel subsidy scam must be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty face justice. But I wonder why people are accusing GEJ for harbouring people perceived to be subsidy fraud stars when GEJ himself tried so hard to stop fuel subsidy. We all know what happened in January 2012 when Mr President announced the removal of fuel subsidy. Many Nigerians kicked against it. |
In other words if they know the truth, the truth will open their eyes and they'll will be set free. From lies and propaganda. Nigeria shall be great again. God bless Nigeria! GEJ TILL 2019!!! |
opiaoku: Even tinubu have come to reality that there is no vacancy in aso villa yet some people won't see it that way.Well said bro ![]() More grease to your elbows. |
The centralization of power infrastructure and development in the hands of central government over the years coupled with very poor investment and mismanagement is the major reason why most communities are living in darkness. My village for instance never knew what electricity is since independence until now. |

Every candidate contesting under PDP should be provided with a level playing ground. Let the best among them win. The decision of the President is a good one as this will prevent ill feelings, anger and perceived injustice among fellow contestants. |
The OP made a very important point. Borrowing huge sums of money in the name of infrastructural development is counter productive as far as the economy of a state is concerned. What it means is that debt will be pilled up gradually through interest and other charges until the State Government is overwhelmed by it. From observation over the years, I realized that the major problem facing Nigeria is not corruption per say but lack of strategic investment and development. Strategic development in this case means investing in key sectors with huge impact and capacity for a sustained economic development. This is the bane of our underdevelopment. Take for instance Agriculture. The first step towards industrialization is Agriculture. This sector alone has the capacity to generate huge income to the states far more than oil. If only state governments especially northern states would realize the gold mine awaiting to be explored in Agric sector the better for everyone. I would rather prefer a situation where a state Governor borrow funds for the purpose of agricultural development to using it on building roads that may not have a direct impact on the economy. |
The best step towards uncovering lies and propaganda is through Ground and Field Investigations. Never believe everything dished out of the media whether local or foreign. |
Billyonaire: The Young man has been overstretached by Nigeria"s myriads of chronic problems occassioned by the Oligarchs who bastardize the collective wells and wealth of the common-man. Jonathan must stay alive to revamp the destinies of children who have no shoes, and capitalists that know no joy.Well said ![]() |

Terrorist will stop at nothing to advance their evil ways. But we are united with the fact that Evil never Prevails against Good. Boko Haram shall pay for their sins one way or the other. Wish all our security forces more grease to their elbows. |
The Syrian government had consistently maintained over time that most of the so called freedom fighters in Syria were terrorist but no one listen to them. The world choose to remind silent on the possibility that terrorist had hijacked the uprising just because of their desperate desire to see Assad removed from power. Now that the terrorists have metamorphosized into ISIS, the west are ruling out cooperation with Assad government. ISIS does not only posse a thread to Iraq alone but the entire middle east. The Islamic terrorist have branches in Syria to further spread their activities to nearby States and I wonder how the US and the UK intend to defeat this terrorist without cooperation from Assad. Though the Syrian government has it's own issues, it's better the west come together and work with the Assad government to defeat this monster ISIS which the west is partly responsible for. |
Another question for the gods. |
APC will not come close to winning the Presidential elections. One simple reason is the fact that APC is a quick fixed political party, who's number one goal is to get to Aso Rock. A party founded solely for winning the presidential elections cannot withstand a political storm for long. To make matters worse APC does not resonate with the grass root Nationwide. This was evident when the party was formed. They fail to embark on grass root campaign to unveil the party to the people. Instead they chose to go after PDP members and bigwigs, including former president Obasanjo whom Bola Tinubu ones called the worst President ever. How can APC win the presidency without the grass-roots? APC at the moment does not posse a thread to PDP as far as the Presidential elections are concerned. For now the only party for 2015 is the PDP. It's not just because of GEJ. PDP has already ingrained itself in the consciousness of the people especially in the grass root. When people sleep the first political party that comes to mind when they wake-up is PDP. Majority of Nigerians today dream of PDP without even knowing it. I know a guy who promise heaven and hell during the 2011 presidential election that he was never going to vote PDP. However during voting, he tick PDP on the ballot paper without realizing it until when it was too late. Till date he doesn't even know why he made the silly mistake. You see what I mean? It's psychological. The name PDP alone is such a force that as a candidate contesting under it your victory is almost assured. Why is that? It's simple. PDP is deeply rooted in people's mind. No party in Nigeria has that kind of grass-roots structure. It will be wise for APC leaders to go back to the drawing board. Restrategise and build it's grass-roots structure together with a purpose driven ideology. Then develop a blue print of what they desire Nigeria to be and sell to the Nigerians. By then, APC would have build a solid structure strong enough to give them a shot at the Presidential elections come 2035. |
Below are the Differences between PDP and APC in Nigeria. PDP: 1. It's an undisputed fact that PDP states lead in infrastructural development eg Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, and Plateau State. 2. It's an undisputed fact that PDP states Excel in Tourism development eg. Cross River, Plateau, and Gombe state. 3. Plateau is one of the PDP states that doesn't temper with Local Government funds. APC: 1. It's only in APC states that you will find state government squeezing it's citizens of all their hard earn money ridiculously in the name of toll gate and tax collection. eg Lagos State. 2. It's public knowledge that APC states hates students. They increased school fees by almost 350 percent. eg. Lagos and Ogun State. 3. APC is the only party in Africa where it's Governor told a poor widow to 'Go and Die' for trying to survive the state's hash economic environment. eg. Adams Oshiomole of Edo state. The above example should enable all Nigerians determined for themselves which party is more connected to the people and which party belongs to the elite. |

All hands must be on deck to curtail the spread of the disease. Hospital management must make sure all secondary contact of the index case are properly quarantine and monitored. No single person should be left out. Ebola can be brought under control. If little Uganda did it, Nigeria can surely do it. Nigerian government need to collaborate with our west African neighbors Cameroon, Niger, Benin, Chad and Togo on how to curtail spread of Ebola through the borders. There's no point working hard to curtail the disease only to be spread through the land borders. This is my major concern. Most of our borders are crowded, dirty, and are lacking sanitary facilities. A lot has to be done to make sure that the borders are not just clean but also Ebola free. |
Atletico Real Madrid matches are always tough and exciting to watch. It's surely going to be explosive tonight as all eyes will be on the Real Madrid new import, James Rodriguez. Will he score tonight? Possibly. However, Atletico have not forgotten their lost to Real at the Champions League final. Revenge is will definitely be their guiding principle tonight. Am tipping Atletico Madrid to come out with a Victory. ![]() |

At present Nigeria operates a mono economy. There should be a gradual shift from Oil to Agriculture and Manufacturing. These sectors are more stable and sustainable in terms of revenue generation. |
Wonder why some people would peddle fictional stories around as truth. Up till now I'h never seen the recorded tape of the so called India vs Nigeria match. |
