That was close to my reply. I asked her d question.."What success?" since then she's be coercing me to drop the talks saying she has made her point already

We were frnds for over a year before we started dating. Its been 2years now in our relationship. Rarely does she open up her mind to tell me her depressing emotional issues when she has a troubled one except I compel her into talking. Recently, I did my engineering induction and would be going for my NYSC this November. Just Came home to grab the few things I'll need for camp and particularly, to spend time with her before I leave this week. All through the last week that I've been home, she had been noticeably dodging our dates for both of us to hang out while giving feeble, triffling and diaphanous excuses. On this particular evening, contrary to her manner of holding back her depressing emotions even though I'd noticed that, She eventually told me what even seemed awkward to her cast of mind..."She's Jealous".
While apologizing for how she's been eschewing our planned dates, she said it after I asked what she's been jealous about. "She's Jealous of my success".
My fingers were seized on my phone's keyboard for tens of seconds as I didn't know how best to reply or comfort her since I was struck with wonder . I've planned meeting her someplace without prior notice to talk to her.




Nairalanders, is it normal or rather okay if she feels that way. Besides, how good enough do you suggest I chat her to calm and possibly inspire her mind without hurting her delicate heart? I strongly do aspire a future with her.

My own happened during my undergraduate days when I was still living in Empire hostel (strongest hostel) at the back of general hospital, before I moved to under G (opp Alata). I'm sure they have done some findings about us before coming that day, because they were fully armed as if they were going to rob CBN. The upstair is opened already so there is no any door to serve as security. The guys just entered into my room being the first, pointed the gun at me, after removing my motorola i was charging in the socket and the #1500 remaining with me for the month, they just told me to lead them to other people's room. The guy warned me to just call those my friends out that i want to collect something from them. This was how they collected our money and phones because the strong head among us also were caught unaware. After that anytime we hear of any hostel robbery around us, we will be the only one to go and chase those robbers away. Through out that session they dont rob in any hostel (Igi-aye, Fulfilment, Malawi, Success, Oscar) around us.


How I survived without money that month and how I got another phone is another Epistle for another day

Guess this guys deaths were just in vain. Justice could be right..but, there is need for a lesson to be learnt so the others who like burning thieves without evidences would think twice if not thrice!

Despite walking to owode police post early that morning, we were only told to write out the list of things that were stolen including their cost. Me self write say dem steal my sagem phone worth 20k. Summarily, those guys cut dre's net while he was listening to music and he didn't even notice their movements at all. They jupmed in so fast and pointed a gun at him that he couldn't escape even though he tried.
We had to break another door open to go out. Some detectives came around that morning, just inspected the environment and gave us lectures on how to be safe from these robbers.
