Hello people.. I guess i have a bit of bad news... I just received a mail saying my application was cancelled due to the fact that i did not submit a valid passport and current biodata... All this i am sure i submitted with all my visa page and stamp... I dont get.. Is it because i uploaded all my old and new passport ?
Please how do i reapply.. They say i can still reapply but i have to create a new express entry profile.. Please gurus help me out o... Am so confused and sad. @40manlappy @dupsyshoo @boss13 @vcole

@A14 I didn't notice anything like that, the only difference I see now is that after I log into my profile, I see that there is a part under details that says "your action is required", the column that displays the message inbox, and I don't see anything that requires my action...what to do

so I just checked my profile to see maybe my profile changed to medicals passed and they forgot to notify me, lol, then I noticed we have been assigned UCI numbers, should I expect medicals passed soon. Gurus in the house, don't mind my paranoia, @lavivaavril's post just put roller skates on my feet

congrats to the PPR receivers @jugzy and medical passed candidates..lol...@lavivaavril we have the same AOR date o, hopefully I get a pass real soon.
I don't know what I would do the day I receive PPR, may God bring that day very close for each of us at a time we need it the most, Amen.

Is the notarized copy sufficient.?
Lastly, any idea of how much it will cost, I have a sample letter shared on this platform but how much does it cost to notarize it in Lagos.

I would just advise you tell the truth, come as plain as possible and use your loe to explain your circumstance. that's my own opinion.

Then I got married and did change of name to husbands last name. I also got a new passport that bears my new married name. My old passport was never returned to me (the immigration officer later said it was lost) after I used it to apply for new one with a new name. Now in our eAPR, should we choose yes to "have you been denied visa to any country "? I'm confused because I don't even have the old passport (in my pre-marriage name) anymore. I know if I put yes, I might be required to upload the old passport and the only travel history (india trip) in it. Please let me know what you think. when I added my pension fee, oanda gave me 23155.0 while xe.com gave me 24050.8....please help me to decide on what to follow.

@40manlappy and all the other gurus in d house... Tanx for your contribution as regards my question on pension as pof... Lemme give a scenario and please give me your candid opinion... A situation whereby the pof for a family of 4 is 5127963...and one has 5m saved in form of treasury bills... And u have access to 208733pension money after resignation... My question is can i use the pension to balance the difference n use as pof ofcourse with a rsa statement...having in mind dat pension fees comes 4mnths after resignation... Please help me clear this confusion.

can I use my contributory pension as a proof of funds. I have invested part of my money to treasury bills, I want to know if I can use my pension to make up the balance the bank handling my pension has assured me that it is possible for me to get my statement and also a cover letter indicating I have access to 25% of the total amount when I resign.
please advice accordingly.

hello fellow canandians..lol, please I have a question, is it compulsory to pay for the RPRF while submitting eAPR or one can pay for the application fee alone and then pay later for the RPR.

hello all, and tanx for the response as regards the merging of files question. please I need your clarity on some issues,
1) is the 3years work experience one of the criterias for ita or 1yr work experience.i have up to 6yrs experience minus nysc,but I just want to understand that aspect properly.
2) would only a letter of explanation suffice for reason for name change or it must be supported with a legal document
3) I have invested in treasury bills , ie part of my pof is invested in treasury bills, what document would I use to show proof
4) is my bank statement still required even if my pof is not in there?
5) is the letter of explanation a formal letter?

please assist as I really need to understand this aspects well

I think you should attach a copy of ur job duties. That's what I did, although it was different from what was in the reference letter, but it was similar in most cases

I was able to get mine in 3 working days.

Just write a letter to Director of Admin/Hr stating all the CIC requirements and submit.

Call back in 3 days and BOOM! its ready
