Dvdpity: Which pieces? Which country in Africa will risk their soldiers for France and USA because of uranium? Unless Nigeria want to disintegrate..any sign of Invision by any country, nigieriens government should call up all available resources and manpower. You obviously lack adequate knowledge of international politics. The France and USA you mentioned will do everything possible to bring back the Democratically elected president because he's their puppet. This is the same thing the AU is calling for. With the junta in power, France's influence will be minimal. Even the citizens are tired of being controlled by France. |

Some children quickly take side with their mum rather than trying to be as neutral as possible so as to have an objective view of the situation with the aim of proffering solution.
Remember that they first knew themselves before your conception.
So taking side won't help the situation |

You guys should learn to call a spade a spade, that's if you still know what that means. The money is not yours in the first place so why so much ado? I'm sure it's people like you that carry cameras to orphanage homes.
Wasn't looking for compensation my foot! If he had the ability to go back in time that guy will clearly not give the owner his money Me looking for compensation? Funny you |

When you lost a property and another person helps you to find it, the least you can do is say thank you.
The op was not looking for compensation and did not state so.
What the owner did is wrong and should be condemned by all. No excuses! Thanks for this |

thesicilian: I understand the sad reality that the morality of humans has become so skewed that it is now so difficult to tell black from white, but let's not forget that at the end of the day, one very important fact remains: that money belongs to the man. No one is doubting the fact that you could have taken the money and not get caught, or the man himself could have lost it there on the ground, but still it's his money and doesn't deserve to be vilified simply because you decided to do what any normal, right thinking human should do in similar situations and he for reasons best known to him did not reward you (in cash, kind or words) for it I spot entitlement mentality |

Don't know if this is the right section for this but please pardon my ignorance.
This morning, a young man whose car was parked closed to mine, was in a hurry while bringing out his phone from his pocket to answer a call, in the process 3 bills of 100 dollars slipped out of his pocket.
Without his knowledge, I picked up the money and tapped him from behind and handed it to him and this young man could not even say "Thank you" .
I didn't do it to be appreciated but it's only right to appreciate people.
Please let's not miss every opportunity to appreciate good gestures |

TemplarLandry: Only archaic men with lowest of the lowest self-esteem imprison their wives under the guise of housewifehood.
Women are not dullards or nonentities. They have parts to play in every functional society. A real woman has to make some money for herself too.
Being a housewife means you're only useful to your husby as a copulation machine and a babies-producing device. Zero contribution to a functional society. That's bad bad. Why not dedicate "when I lay you down" by Jagged Edge to the man for having such thoughts? |

tommy589: I used to have that thought that they provide cheaper treatment until I discovered recently it cost more.
Someone close to me was asked to come back for a surgical operation in six months due to the waiting list of people for the operation. Six months arrived, operation was extended another six months due to waiting list. I advised private hospital. New tests were conducted at cheaper costs and surgical operation was a little more than half the price of state teaching hospital
Not that government is not subsidising to make it cheaper, but over 90% of the staffs are involved in this racketeering. Thanks for the clarification. Some people think it's poverty that takes people to public health centers. Some are very very expressive |

libertyfather: The issue is more is needed to be done in health sector, what you are seeing there is as a result of poor economy, treatment in public hospital is far cheaper than private one so expect 100times of visitors that go there compare to private hospitals I got to know this not long ago, owe Almighty GOD big thanks for that.....at times you have to be at the hospital as early as 6.30am booking space so you see the doctor early, when I say early it can be around 11am to 12pm ......only God will help us More workers should be employed |
Health › My Experience In A Public Hospital In FCT by Deeprooted(op): 5:30am On Jul 14, 2023 |
After the declaration of state of emergency in the agricultural sector, our health sector needs such immediate attention.
I was in a public health center in the federal capital territory and my experience was not good.
First is the attitude of the health workers. These people need to be given orientation on how to relate with people. They insult patients, very rude and lack empathy.
Secondly, my perspective changed when I see the level of work these guys were handling. A single doctor on call attending to 83 patients! The doctors and nurses are obviously worn out, hence their attitude ( not a justification though)
I sheded tears for 3 children brought in but could not get the attention of the doctor because she was clearly tired and completely worn out. She was the only one in the entire Emergency Paediatric Unit (EPU).
I then saw why most of my doctor friends left the country.
If you're healthy, you don't know what God is doing for you.
More health workers are urgently needed but I was informed that no new doctors were employed in the last few years back despite the departure of most consultants from the country.
Pray you don't fall sick!
