What are you suggesting here, that it is reasonable to ask applicants to go back to their countries and apply from there? To my knowledge the very things that entitle some categories of people to apply often require some length of presence in the US.

I dont agree that zoning is representative of tribalism. It is an autochthonous mechanism developed to balance out power in a complex and multi-faceted society in order to ensure that no part of the country is over-dominated by another part. If Rwanda had had such a system they would likely not have experienced their bloody genocide.

I also think its extreme to attribute our state of development to a zoning principle which is relatively recent in our system and is not even codified in our laws.

Why did you not wait for time to naturally even out the racial outburst of your European MD in the SA company, instead of escalating it and WORKING through procedures for redress, which led to his dismissal?

I didn't say it was an SA company, I only mentioned that that sort of thinking was prevalent in apartheid SA. It was a European Multinational operating in Nigeria.

I take some exception to the bold. Because this kind of framing suggests that the mere fact that one can theorize about the long term results of current realities means that one does not believe in practical actions everyday in every issue.

I dont know how people keep attributing this to me simply because I try to analyze with a wide lens and long term view both from the past and into the future, the trajectory of a race. My view is that the development issues most of Africa is passing through are quite to be expected given the myriad factors I have oft pointed out and will naturally even themselves out with time.

But if I hear what you are saying here correctly, am I right to say that you are saying that we expect human rights which are alien to us from white people, while not expecting same from Asians who also dont have the "evolved human rights culture" of the West?

What you are missing in the equation is simple - this is first and foremost about chasing power and no one in the running is willing to cede to anyone else.
