No, it is not tribalism. Tribalism will mean it is the Yoruba that will vote for him. Now, if you check the population of the Yorubas, if they all vote for him, he will still not be president.

So, it is established now that tribalism will not make any of the contenders win.

Infact, that is why Obi could not win in 2023 inspite of his tribalistic approach making more than 90% of Ibos to vote for him. Same thing with Buhari before Tinubu went into a strategic alliance with him for the 2023 elections.

For the sake of enlightenment, the US plea bargaining in drug cases does not exonerated anyone from conviction, it only commutes or reduces the sentences. So, if Tinubu had a plea bargaining, he would still have been convicted but would have had his sentences reduced.
