Kushites: WHY DO YOU AND YOUR FELLOW PROFESSIONAL MALCONTENTS BLAME TINUBU FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG IN NIGERIA?
IS HE GOD?
IS HE A MAGICIAN?
IF THAT WAS PETER OBI, WOULD YOU ATTACK HIM?
NO!
YOU WOULD IDENTIFY THE COMPANY THAT MESSED UP AND GO AFTER THEM.
THAT IS WHY NOBODY CAN TAKE YOUR ATTACKS ON TINUBU SERIOUSLY.
IT'S NOT BASED ON OBJECTIVITY.
IT'S BASED ON ETHNIC BIAS AND HATE.
NOTHING ELSE! When you take your meds and are ready to sound sane and civil, I will be waiting for a proper discussion. |

Kushites: SHUT UP THERE!
MR ''CONSTANT ELECTRICITY''.
YOUR STATE SHOULD BE PROVIDING YOU ''CONSTANT ELECTRICITY''.
THEY RECEIVE BILLIONS IN ALLOCATION MONTHLY FROM THE FG.
X5 SINCE THE END OF FUEL SUBSIDIES.
DO YOU EVER ASK YOUR THIEVING EASTERN GOVERNORS WHAT THEY DO WITH THAT MONEY?
THE AEDC IS A PRIVATE FIRM. THEY ARE THE FIRST YOU SHOULD BLAME. NOT TINUBU!!
Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) is one of the 11 power distribution companies that was successfully privatized and handed over to new investors on 1 November 2013. KANN Utility Limited (KANN) is the 60% equity holders in AEDC. The Federal Government of Nigeria holds 40% equity in AEDC. AEDC has a franchise for the distribution and sale of electricity across an area of 133,000 km2 in the Federal Capital Territory, Niger State, Kogi State and Nassarawa State. The company was established in 1997 and ranked fourth among the eleven Nigerian distribution companies for electricity purchased and distributed.
SO IF THEY STALL OR HAVE AN ISSSUE, HOW IS THAT AUTOMATICALLY TINUBU'S FAULT?
NONSENSE!! Why do you react so violently and with insults to everyone who disagrees with you on BAT. You are capable of marshalling your points with civil dignity. Whether you like it or not, BAT can't be popular among the suffering masses. If you like burst a vein, it will not change. |

When a land has been underdeveloped for 10-15yrs the government can collet that land and resell to another .
A land mot used for farming or commercial activities, just open and vast abd green snd has been there for years.
No development No structure No plan
Just empty and void.
If am in wikes shoes i will do worse ..i will revoke all land that hasn't been developed in the fct by private individuals for over the past 10yrs down and revoke it.
Resell it to people and give an untanium of 5yrs to start development or risk land revoked and transferred to another. Have you ever travelled to a European or North American city before? Do you know how important green areas are in a city? |

For every 5 factors against you, there are developed countries with those 5 factors against them. More importantly there are 10 factors in your favor
These composite of factors could have been the spur for development but you are using them as alibi now
Just like a Obama Carson LeBron Bezos might say these factors spurred me to try harder to get out and be great, another guy with same factors will claim its the same that didnt allow him succeed I have never done the bold. |

Many had Arabic as a unifying language, some swahili, some Mandinka, some Kikongo yet today they are one country and still giving alibis While we have Spain that's a combination of different kingdoms even till date we have Catalan, Andalusia, Gaelicia Basque
Today Belgium Switzerland have multiple languages and background who manage to stay together without wanting to kill themselves Fair enough. But again like I said it's not enough to keep picking one factor and saying oh, as regards this factor, here is another country that has that factor as well but has developed. No, the composite of interlocking factors produces a unique fingerprint for each case. |

It's being a while we had interesting direct primaries. i expect all parties to improve on the process subsequently and maybe even give us something digital. Who knows maybe our new Nigeria crooners can lead the way at their direct primaries and show us something worth emulating. There's no one more popular or competent than the Jagaban on the ballot box. raumdeuter: Many countries in Europe did not exist 1000yrs ago too The current Italy was a combination of smaller kingdoms and states. Many of the countries in Europe were under the Roman Empire or smaller kingdoms before they morphed into their current state
For an England that existed 1000yrs ago we have Egypt Mali Ethiopia. For an Italy who was a combination of smaller kingdoms and states we have Nigeria Germany was a lose collection of cities, kingdom states like Nigeria too. Like we have Saxony Bavaria Prussia etc we have Bini Oyo Zaria Well, let me just leave this at saying your comment is fair enough, but not nuanced enough. By nuance, I mean the fact that for example - - Germany: While scattered into many dukedoms and small principates, and only coming together as modern Germany in the late 19th century, it still had a previous history united as the Holy Roman Empire. Secondly they were one Germanic people with German as their language! In Nigeria you have over three hundred unique ethnicities and unique languages! - Italy - similar case, modern Italy united late, but still this is a place that has had a deep united history at the time of the Roman Empire. Again, with language, they were one Italian people with Italian as their language! In Nigeria you have over three hundred unique ethnicities and unique languages! Please and please, how can you compare scenarios like this to a Nigeria with its disparate peoples? I have said before here that Nigeria has more languages than the whole of Europe put together and that in Europe there are essentially two main language sets and dialects of those two sets - the Latin set (Italian, Portuguese, Spanish) and the German set (German, and Northern European tones) and mixtures of these two. So you are simply not comparing with any sense of nuance at all. Again, remember that I keep saying there are many interlocking factors. Only a person who subscribes to magic will deny that. Finally avert your mind to the kinds of wars and conflicts Europe has been through and ask yourself whether its possible that a Nigeria forced together so crudely will not have conflict for ages which must be resolved before true development can permeate? ? ? Is this not only rational? Stop resisting logic. |

Most countries in Africa were part of a progressing society for thousand years
Mali for example was a great empire for thousand year Doesnt work for Nigeria. Nigeria was not a country. There was nothing like Nigeria. There were hundreds of small kingdoms and states. Korea was a country. There was something like Korea one thousand years ago just as there was something like England one thousand years ago. Its not the same thing AT ALL. Mali is a different matter. So stop sounding as though everyone and every nation should be magically successful and perfect regardless of their starting line. What is irritating is the way you reduce genuine factors of life to excuses. South Africa is because of apartheid, the others are colonialism excuses are like shoe sizes you will find one that fits. In all you ensured that its always something outside them that is responsible never them
Is there anyone thats having a self made problem No one is shopping for excuses. Go and read professorial studies on these things. These things are scientifically studied in sociology, macro economics, anthropology, there are fields of study and experts in these things. So long as you dont subscribe to voodoo you must know that every effect has a scientific cause. Its as simple as that. Your great mistake is thinking that I dont blame our people as well. bemeruca: This is exactly the point. You are now admitting the failure is real, but you still want to dress it up as nation-building is hard.
Nobody denied that nation-building is hard. The point is that you cannot build a nation without basic knowledge of maintenance, continuity, planning, and accountability.
How do you do that with no vision, no plan, no progress?
Look at Port Harcourt. I have watched them several times destroy roads, cause suffering, waste time, waste money, and bury pipes in the ground knowing very well that water will never flow through those pipes.
And even if water flows once, the system will collapse again because nobody is thinking about maintenance, pressure control, leak detection, service delivery, or long-term operation.
That is not a young nation growing. That is incompetence.
Projects are abandoned all over Port Harcourt because one government does not see the previous government’s projects as part of public interest.
Every new administration wants to start its own thing, award its own contracts, reward its own people, and destroy continuity.
That is why we keep going in circles.
I will be the first to recognize when things change. Our problem in Nigeria is not only with the politicians.
If you recognize the Igbo state of Biafra today, I can guarantee you they will start killing themselves and a new divide and struggle will appear within Biafra. Such frustration is legitimate. |

bemeruca: Let's say Nigeria's water board was functioning at 15% in the 90s, then it vanished instead of moving from 15% to 20%, reaching more people.
That's a fail, it's a failed state. Look, I cannot quarrel with disappointment about things like that. And I am not saying you shouldn't be. There are many such things. For example I doubt that we will experience steady electricity in our lifetime. Look at the national carrier for example. What can we say across board, so many to point to. It's just that you have to recognize that it's an arduous journey building a nation. Look at the difference made by the Dangote refinery. That alone probably means the years of fuel scarcity are over. It is gonna be a heck of long rough road, but that is the story of nations. Rare are those tiny countries that have so much resources that they can just buy everything in one generation like a Kuwait or UAE. I trust you know that with the UAE for example, the local people are just five percent of the population. The rest are expatriates. That is the kind of country you will try to compare with a Nigeria. That is madness. |
