@ymbiola, you don't have to do it immediately. I had mine done 3 weeks after my application because I didn't have my passport with me BUT ensure you book your appointment and have it done before the 30 day deadline given to you.

I’m a university of Nigeria Student but decided to seek for Admission in Canada,Since I haven’t graduated I’m going for an undergraduate program.
I have already summitted An Applications in Fleming college and university of Regina (I don’t really understand this University of Regina ,I summitted since First week of May and they ain’t saying anything yet)

Did you save with applicant name or spouse name first.

E.g Amanda- okeie- permanent residence ID

Please people, i really need to know what to do here. I submitted my application for a Canadian Visitor visa September 17, did my biometrics February 3. My wife and children are permanent resident status.

What should i do next?
