rowlandoo: I am tired of this , this house is cruel , I was asking before I cancelled no one told me notting and I made a big mistake u are there telling me its irritating . Pls go sitfdown
So you are tagging the House 'CRUEL' because of your own short comings right?
You need to know that you are first and foremost responsible to yourself and so you should be able to take responsibilities for your actions.
Shei na person go tell you everything you need to know ni?

emekatimsu: Good day house, a friend of mine ws denied visa today.
The VO did nt bother to look at hs well prepared documents.
He only asked him what he has been doing since he graduated from school and he told him. After which he denied him.
His school is suppose to resume by 2nd week of August, what can he do now so as nt to miss ds addmission.
He has been so down cast to narate all that transpired between him and d VO, if nt i would have published word by words.
So house, what immediate action can he take to get interviewd again and does he need to pay for interview again?
There is no way we can proffer solutions here without first knowing what really transpired between your said friend the VO. He needs to tell us what answer did he give to the VO's question. Because its clear that his instant refusal after answering that question was in his reply to the V0's question.
On a second note, if he still feels he does not want to share his interview experience, he can go ahead and pay for the Visa fee and book for another appointment. He might still be lucky to get a date in July.

I wonder why you keep on duplicating questions here? I have told you that you can only cancel a scheduled appointment date twice and which you have already done. If you cancel this your september 20th date, it simply means that you can't use it obviously for this Fall admissions.(90 days after).

The options you have opened to you are, first, you simply cancel and know that you pay another visa fee to be able to pick a date in july. Second, you simply defer your admissions to spring semester. Third, you can pray and believe that God would make the US embassy to appoint a earlier date to you since you said you ticked the Auto Rescheduled appointment box.

Please save your stress of duplicating already attended questions here because it can be very irritating.

payne4real: Guys pls do i av any chance? I was born 7/9/1989.i finish my secondary school 2006.i av neco result 2004 n 2007.i did computer engineering training and av bn workn in a cafe for the past 5yrs.i av already apply for undergraduate study in arkansas state uni.do i av any chance of getn d visa? Wat document do u think i cn add to hlp me? Ur response will be highly appreciated thank you.
Nobody can guarantee the issuance of F1 visa here but we can only ascertain if you are on the right or wrong path to the getting of the visa.

From what you said above, I can deduce that you have been working towards becoming a computer engineer and if your course of study in the US is in the same line, you won't have a problem defending that para-venture the VO ask ' so what have you been doing since you graduated from High schoolhuh

I don't know what admission semester you applied for. I doubt if it is for fall this year tho, because if it is, you ought to have gotten the admission decision by now. I will advice you wait and receive the admission decision first. This is critical and important to your next move.

I strongly recommend that you visit the part1 of the thread and start to familiarise with the invaluable visa interview experiences there. ALL the questions and answers you will ever need regarding US Student Visa are jam packed there. Best of Luck.

rowlandoo: Brda ,
I cancelled and rebooked 20 sept ,but I actually need a date in july . What do I do now when I date in july comes up coz I checked the auto earlier date box . I m confused
You Cancelled your initial appointment date and you then rebooked 20th september. ke? Why would you pick such a date? I strongly believe you have only cancelled your appointment dates just this once? If not, if you should cancel again that means you will have to wait for 90 days before you can make use of it and by the expiration of the 90 days, fall admissions would have been over.
You just need to start praying to God that you get the Auto Rescheduled chance, since you said you ticked the Auto Reschedule box.

On a second note, I feel you are masking identity here. I can trace different usernames with similar story line up with this particular one you used to post this message. And you yourself attested to this in a few posts away, that you used your friend's girlfriend username to post. This is not helping, it is rather compounding issues up for you. Best of Luck tho.

@ All,
There is a massive availability of JULY appointment dates at the Lagos Embassy now. There is 2nd to 31st July,2012 available dates right now. If you have a date that you feel is not favourable to you quickly go and cancel it and then schedule a favourable date for yourself.

Allohrandy: thanks for your info. But can i pay at the bank in naira or must it be in dollars
See my modified post above as reply to this question of yours.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by deevick246(m): 8:37pm On Jun 17, 2012
Allohrandy: what are the documents do i need to take alone. Is the payment in naira or dollars?
Just 2 items basically, which are PHOTOCOPIES of your international passport page and i-20 form. The EcoBank only accept their 'sefa' currency. You can easily get the money changed to their currency when you make your way through into Cotonou town. Even then you still need to be careful. I don't really know how to emphasis this. You need to keep these items (photocopy of i-20, passport page & the money) keep this items well, don't let those peeps sight them on you. Be tactical and smart. Again I wish you all the best in your adventure.

walex57: Thanks for the advice bro...i should go to idiroko in ogun state cos my sis works in a bank there then i'll from there go to cotonou cos my sister's hubby knows all the custom guys there...i just know favour will follow me
Okay, but I don't know about the idi-iroko route to cotonou. I only know of the Mile2 route. From Mile2 garage or so or better still you ask from anyone at Mile2 where you can board Cotonou transport. It shouldn't be more than N600.
Best of Luck. God would see you through.

To those contemplating Cotonou option for sevis fee payment, I advice you should be smart and rugged. Because that cotonou way mehnnn... E nor easy, its like a war... If you aren't smart those people (customs & the other thieves) will end up scaring you and collect all the money on you including your sevis fee money self.

I am not saying this to scare anybody but it is just the reality. I advice that you shouldn't talk to anybody on the way, don't even enter bike,( for the distance from where you alighted from bus to the EcoBank is a trekable distance) ...they are all agents, they have a way of signalling to the Customs and securities agents to stop you. Don't even go with your international passport self (go with photocopy and it has to be hidden)..if you do, ah, they will seize it and end up delaying you and afterall scare you and demand for money from you...

Me just dey give advice based on what my eyes saw on my way there. But to the glory of God, I went uncrashed and came back on same record, as I was able to beat more than 10 check points to and fro .... Na God ooo.
Best of Luck.

No,No and No. Your passport has to have at least 6 month expiration time to apply for visa. How can you use a passport that has a month expiration date to get a 6 month visa on ithuh You self reason am naa.
My advice, when it expires push for its renewal.

franco273: Would be nice to know if anyone else has had such issue and had it resolved
@ Franco273,
I think you should read in between the lines of all the inputs that has been made on your circumstance.

I can only but emphase that - if its impossible to locate that your former agent, your kind of case would require a divine intervention. For there is a God and He has ALL the powers to do and undo.

@ All,
Let's learn from this situation. It is better we do our things ourselves or even if we contract it out we should strive to know and keep the informations used on our behalf.

Bros, not under minding the importance of standardised test but they are not the determinant to the issuance of F1 Visa. We have seen people on this thread with standardised test that were still denied Visa and some without any standardised test score that got it, even though their saving grace was that the VO did not ask for it. Na God dey give visa.

WAEC is not same as standardised test score. Examples of Standardised test are TOEFL, IELTS,SAT, GRE, & GMAT. How on earth would you go for F1 Visa interview without a WAEC result?

You were the one who shot yourself at the leg brov.
