Taylor86: No shaking, bro I am a regular member like you I can't ban anyone; l am not a moderator I had a similar experience like you The silly bot banned me for 24 hrs on election day - you can imagine the frustration. It is just a mindless computer program that doesn't know any better - sometimes misjudges a legitimate comment as a spam |
afuye:What would make him not to hand over? |
Gen Buhari (rtd) may have won, but... The real winner is Nigeria The hero is Prof. Attahiru Jega The statesman is President Jonathan. The genius is Jagaban Bola A. Tinubu The master strategist is Gov R. Amaechi The pragmatist is Chief Obasanjo. The kingmaker is the electorate The lesson is, power has gone back to whom it belongs - the people! |
Taylor86:Go to your profile, you will see when your ban will be over. |

Taylor86:ANTI-SPAM BOT |
asdfjklhaha:Even if he joins APC he would not be senate president again There are many APC senators who stood and fought for their party without defection So he can't just waltz into the APC and be made senate president. |
jingh:This is no time to taunt This is time for celebration and reconciliation. Be magnanimous in victory. |
mzlizabelle:look well, you go see wetin she dey talk. The thing dey there korokoro. l don beg am sha make she pretend do eyes right. make she no spoil the big celebration ![]() |
naijababe:Thought l was the only one. I guess it was his twitter account handler(not him) that used that non-existent word Please, for the sake of the on-going jubilation, pretend you didn't see that. Don't spoil the mood ![]() |
Spot on! Yet, i think their greatest mistake was bad governance!!! Having said that, l must give credit to the masterstroke of merging two parties with great influence in the north, some middle belt regions and south west into one formidable party - the APC The creation of the APC was a stroke of political genius! Infact, this election victory feels like a coup on the PDP. lt is still like a dream. To put the genius of the APC in perspective, check out the following points: -They dispatched an incumbent president for the first time in the history of our democracy. -They accomplished this feat with little resources relative to the ruling party's mega resources -Few people took them seriously nor believed in them especially the PDP. -They smartly played to their strength ( the "change" message and integrative politics) and to the weakness of the opposition( bad governance) -They had formidable ,strategic allies in all the geopolitical zones, who churned out millions of votes for them through their influence -They crafted a party model that appealed so much to the Nigerians and the world through smart campaigns, speeches and lectures within and outside the country - and that is when people took notice of this new party. -They played a commendable grassroots politics by reaching out to people across political, ethnic, religious and ideological divides, every nook and cranny of the country was preached the message of "change"! l could go on and on. Well done and well played APC Congratulations! |
The majority of comments on here is why we still find it hard to be one in this country The Op accepted defeat and extended his hand to the winners through felicitation All the winners could have done was to take his hand, accept his felicitation and commiserate with him Instead of good sportsmanship and magnanimity in victory, some winners chose to taunt and gloat.smh Imagine a scenario where this behavior is extrapolated to the general population That means all the states that didn't vote the APC will be shown "shege"- but that has no place in a democracy. All we should be working on now is on national reconciliation and mending fences, while celebrating (winners) and mourning (losers) A house divided against itself cannot stand All hands, across political, ethnic, religious and ideological divides must be on deck to move this country forward. Let us all give the in-coming government a chance to prove themselves, failure of which this same fate will befall them The most important victory in this election is that power has returned to the people! Never again would leaders be thrust upon us against our will. This election is a wake up call to all politicians, including Gen Buhari, to sit up. No more business as usual. The people are now the kingmakers - and they are watching you! Congratulations to our new president-elect,Gen. M. Buhari Congratulations to the APC and their great supporters Good fight to the PDP and their great supporters You lost the battle in this round, but another chance will soon come in in 2019. God bless Nigeria. God bless you all. |
jcmaiah:Bad guy. Caught your coded drift. |
SmooshCHN:The dude is a subtle "assassin" Not everyone could figure out that comment |
axortedbabe:To grow old is a blessing Some never got the chance to be old because they died young. you may be young now, but one day you will be her age, and it will be a privilege and a blessing, then. Today's cute baby girl will be tomorrow's wrinkled granny...and that too is a special blessing. You don't have to "send" me |
MuguliciousMUGU:You are joking,right? |
chrisley024:l guess l am seeing different election results |
jeremiah505:I know it is hard to accept, but believe me it is over. Everyone should move on with their lives |
macpetrus:l am not tensed up lt is over! History has been made. let everyone accept it, support the in-coming government, and move on with their lives let the new government be given a chance to prove themselves, failure of which this same fate would befall them The important lesson in this election is that power has gone back to the people. Every politician, including GMB must sit up! No more business as usual. The people, collectively, are now the king maker. |

This election shows there will never be a free, fair and credible election in this country The best rigger wins PDP has been rigging for 16 years Now,they have been reminded that no party has the monopoly of rigging l have always been a neutral throughout, but l believe that if this election were to be 100% free and fair, the APC would win hands down l have no doubt about that. |
elohorayodele:please post your evidence |
koice:Alright. But don't forget that as it stands now Buhari is having the upper hand in the SW and NC combined,i.e no of states won Add the NE and NW that he will most likely sweep with a landslide |
koice:Honestly, one state in the core north is almost 2 states in the south east in terms of population, and don't forget that Buhari will most likely have landslide victories in the north. |

SuperSuave:The northern results will eventually overtake this tiny lead easily l am non-partisan, but l honestly don't see GEJ surviving this. |
You need opinions when you have already concluded it is a fact. On twitter a white guy said a Nigerian friend told him all Nigerians are crooks, because of abject poverty in the land what is your opinion on that? |
580k for this car ![]() |
signz:There is serious trouble for PDP right now!! I have been in contact with 2 corper friends of mine who are inec ad hoc staff in the east, and they tell me GEJ is almost gone. They say Buhari has exceeded all expectations in the south east winning much more than the percentage of the votes he was estimated to win over there, despite losing in many wards They also said that he is comfortably leading in 4-5 states in the south west, from the information they are getting from their colleagues in the South West. As for the North and middle belt, they said l should just forget it. I know INEC has the final say, but... |
[quote author=Kk4 post=32110041]Microsoft phones are really nice. Especially the camera. I recently bought one and so far I have no regrets. So you don't have any problem with the fact that you can't load a webpage in the background while using another app? Also when you open a webpage on UC browser, and go to another app eg whatsapp, when you come back, the page starts reloading afresh or many words/sentences will be missing from the page |
