Itsekiri are people of The Niger Delta , They speak a language very similar to Ilaje and Yoruba , Making them one of the key branch of the Yoruboid language. The Itsekiri presently number just over a million people and live mainly in the Warri South , Warri North and Warri South West local government districts of Delta State on the Atlantic Coast of Nigeria . Ilaje

The Ilajes are a distinguished, distinct linguistic group of Yoruba peoples made up of four geo-political entities namely Ugbo, Mahin, Etikan and Aheri.
