it's like you are unaware that a bag of rice is selling for 17k, if you know the number of people at ogbe stadium last Saturday in the rain cheering their politicians for just 3k you will marvel. I don't think we are learning anything yet, maybe if $1=N1k, if a bag of 50kg rice sells for 30k, if crude oil prices drop further, if we still decide to depend on our oil mono economy, then we will all wake up and hold ourselves and our leaders accountable for what we would have left.
Hmmm, that's so deep.

You're not alone bro. Mine was Efunseke Stober (Nee Merriman-Johnson). Then she was the cynosure of all eyes at NTA 2 Channel 5. She co-presented Shoppers'Guide and was the continuity duty announcer. I'm talking about late 80s. She is aging with grace.

Yeah I remember this one. The twins were separated at birth over Mina's father's refusal to allow poor Richard marry his daughter.
Great work, Ishilove. Well done! However, it was Mina's mother who objected.

I have no problem with you liking what others do just because they are speaking what you felt is right. I just accepted your correction and also gave u a succinct explanation on why I seem so personal with the whole issue, I am surprised seeing you hailing someone for abusing me.
However, note I have never been a coward and not willing to start an apprenticeship programme now on how to become a coward. In others words, I ain't running away from any duel
No hard feelings dimieprincess. And by the way i didn't hail her for being insulting; i only did for her comment on failing forward. Life is too short to hold anyone down.

It doesn't seem like she failed at first attempt, she actually failed and that is why she is called to bar today after she took the exams again and passed.
Big deal? No,failure is not the end of one's life, when you fail once, try again and again until you succeed.
Her father had the power to influence her success but he didn't do that,it shows discipline on his part.

You actually sound dumber than the world dumbest.
Thumbs up, carammel.
PoliticsRe: It Seems Halima Buhari Failed The Last Bar Exam by deife(m): 5:06am On Jul 15, 2016
dimieprincess:
not it seems, she failed that is why she sat for the re-sit. Today call to bar was strictly for re-sit students.
She dull like her father
I could say you're dull too for using "sat for" which is glaringly ungrammatical. The verb "sit", does not accommodate the preposition "for". So you see, no one knows it all. Don't be too eager to insult people.

As a student i have come to notice that the use of pijin english is on the high side in most of our high institution .. Even myself can't deny the fact that i use it often both on chat or orally.. It's "pidgin" @ OP.

To the question, I'd say that we tend to "connect" more with folks that way than through standard English. However, I would advise those students at school who are yet to perfect their English to desist from pidgin for now and focus on English. My 2 cents.

Bruv, you want the honest truth from me? This song is dope! You and the dude both killed it! I wish you could get a good promoter and shoot a fantastic video. With God on your side, you are the next big thing!

2. When You Are Mine
When You Are Mine or Cuando seas mía was a Mexican telenovela that was originally released between 2001 and 2002 but aired in Nigeria between 2005-2006. It featured Silvia Navarro as Teresa Suarez or Paloma and Sergio Basañez as Diego Sanchez-Serrano
Great work, OP. I think Silvia Navarro AKA Paloma was also referred to as Elena Olivares.

7. Sunset Beach

Great signature you have there. smiley

Yeah, I know and you're probably right, But my own life experiences have made me cautious of friends.

I'd rather have an enemy who tells me to my face that he's going to hurt me than have a friend who smiles with me yet is saddened by my progress in life.

Instead of friends I prefer to have acquaintances. People I know and like generally. That way, whatever they do won't surprise me, because I wasn't expecting anything from them anyway.

But then, it's my own life choice anyway. Not saying anybody should do that.
Hmmm. That's so deep! I feel you bro. I guess true friends are hard to find...

Well written. I don't know why people keep friends anyway. Very unnecessary.

The best friend you can ever have apart from your spouse is your dog.

Go get a dog and you'll experience a loyalty you'll never find in humans.
@loannes, thanks for the compliments. As much as I agree with a part of your post, I feel friendships are important (true friendships though). No man is an island. We can do much more together than we can do apart.
