PoliticsWhat Buhari's Emergence Mean by dein77(op): 6:37am On Jan 23, 2015
To Nigerians: It means Nigerians truly yearn for something new....something different from the PDP. It means they are so disenchanted with the PDP they are willing to try an old, retired General. That's life.

To PDP: It means the people are willing to do away with this party. The PDP squandered 15 years of grace and goodwill bestowed on them by Nigerians. The consequences of that waste may eventually catch up with them come Feb 14th.

To the Youths: His emergence means the youths have a lot of capacity building to do. So far, most Nigerian youths aren't that ready to handle leadership roles and positions.

To Nigeria: It means since 1985, our Nation couldn't build character other than Buhari with the requisite traits of integrity, transparency and fairness, and maturity, needed to handle our nation.

To Africans: We still prefer old pple as our leaders.

Caveat: don't take this very seriously. ...meant for laff.

May the happiness and joy and excitement that feels your heart each time ya'all remember these stories continue to blossom like the morning flowers of the East! Love is indeed BEAUTIFUL!

We unmarried dudes be feeling mushy and I am sure these stories will connect lost, exhausted, tired and worn-out love birds who happen to stumble on this thread.

Aisha2 am yet to hear yours oohh!
Bro, indeed the stories are beautiful. This is my best thread EVER. Whatever reminds me of how I met and eventually married my wife, is so dear and precious to me, just like she is precious.

Love is a beautiful thing. It's a privilege to love; it's a bigger privilege to be loved.

It is not the car you go for that matters but a car you want to keep for a long time something you really like. Stop chasing pure water like everyone else trying to catch up with the crowd every 3 years if it is RX330 buy and keep for as long as you can
Yeah. Will do. Will upload the pictures when it's secured. Thanks for all your inputs and information.

Your best bet is RX300 and RX330. RX350, Rx350 F sports and RX400h are very expensive. Plus they have some issues with their productions. Accelerator pedal recal, airbag recalls, VSC, VDIM recalls, for the RX400h if the hybrid battery pack drains, you're gonna need minimum of 700K to replace and I can't tell you of the expertise of Naija mechos etc.
I will go for the RX 330.

The most recent model of that car he can get would be Rx350 or better still the hybrid variant Rx400h, those clean title of those cars don't come cheap, if he buys a Rx300 and decides to sell and doesn't get a good bargain, he could dash it out satisfactorily but when he buys a clean title Rx350 let's say 3.5m and in 3 years time the value is less than 1.2m with all he has expended in keeping it top shape don't you think it aint worth it.
I would only advice him to get a recent one if he wishes to use it till THE FAT LADY SINGS. Lol
I really want a clean Lexus but I can't afford RX 350, giving the 3.5m price. I will settle for the RX 330.

I read through the thread from the beginning to this page and it is an interesting reading.
My story: I visited my cousin in her school and we went to fellowship together. After fellowship she introduced me to this good and gentle looking student pastor, who later visited us at d hostel and made his intention known. Pastor or student pastor was a no no for me. I was in a long distance r/ship then.

Fast forward to 4yrs later we were both working, my cousin told me that he has been disturbing her for my number, I've ended the long distance r/ship but have so many suitors to d point of been confused. I jokingly told her to give him d number and he will be an addition to d list.

But he came, clear my doubts, took me with all my faults and make a wife and mother out of me.
Just like that? The best wives are now made for Pastors.

I'm deeply happy for you all. Shalom.

Interesting thread.

Peharps its my husband that should be telling this story, but i would attempt to join his side and my side.

He recently moved into my area and told his friends while moving that he was going to find his wife in this area, that year.

He saw me one day walking down the street, i noticed his clean fine look but didnt really give him any thought.

He later said his attraction was my legs.....

He cornered me a few days later and told me he wanted me to be his wife, i replied just like that, you dont even know me, that infact i was engaged( i had a boyfriend and we were making plans..or rather i was making plans), he looked at my ringless fingers and laughed out loud, that even the ones with ring are not sure talkless or me without a ring. That struck home.

Then i found out he was from a different tribe..i totally logged off.

But that guy chased me eh...I have never seen such tireless zeal and tenacity. He used every trick in the book(yeah he later showed me the book, it has a lofty place on our bookshelf today - art of seduction(rob greene ). The final trick that worked was the impression he gave me that all the girls in town wanted him, that guy sef, many tricks, well hes so good looking, well packaged, very funny and intelligent that that line of seduction worked.

I unbelievably married someone not from my tribe(people who know me personally would understand why it was a massive deal) and three children later(baby 4 on the way), i have absolutely no regrets. I would rather be with no one else. My top notch correct bobo.
A pretty good love story. Your husband saw what he wanted, and he dedicated his all to ensuring he got what he saw and needed.

A very big lesson. Tenacity breaks resistance.

I pray your home continue to experience more of God's peace, increase and love.....

The toyota highlander from 2005 upwards sell between 2.2 and upwards I mean from the era of the facelift now an Rx330 is suppose to be a luxurious version so a clean title is expected to be expensive. may be the one you bought is a toyota Harrier and the seller just rebadged it since you are a novice you couldn't tell.

Op since you are selling in 2 to 3 years time, just buy the highest trim of Rx300 because in terms of maintenance cost, the 300 will be cheaper than the 330.
Thanks for all the info. It's appreciated.

BTW, any idea how much the RX300 highest trim might cost?

Not as if he's gonna use the car forever. He is changing his car after about 3 years. Another 2 or 3 years down the line, he's gonna change this one too. Why not get a little classy and go for something more exciting and headturning to drive. İ believe the OP is young and should be caught in some bland Toyota. Lol. Don't mind me o! İ was just wishing he added some swag to his drive. All the same, it is his money, his car, his life and his choice.
Una get mouth ehhh

Yes. I will be changing it in 2 or 3 years time.

I guys have already advised me against the RX300.

I'm now considering the 330.

Ok then. Someone told me I can have the RX 330 for around 2.5

Am sorry about that. @OP, no pun intended please. Just that those cars are just pure water. İ use to think they were cheap just like those guys up there saying N1m, N1.1M, N1.2M, etc since they were just everywhere choking up the driving space. İ found out otherwise, when İ hepled an İn-Law procure one from Cotonou. The RX 350 couldn't come any cheaper than N2.2m for a nearly rundown one.
Deep down, I knew no pun was intended shaaa.

We be brethren.

We mean I can get Rx 350 for N2. 2m?

My guy, the OP na run-of-the-mill guy sef. He is just a regular Joe who moves with the crowd, in the general direction of the crowd as the crow flies without finding out why the crowd is moving in that direction. What do you expect? the OP's been driving a tiny light camry (the pure water then) for about 3 years, now he wants to drive an RX 300/330(the current reigning pure water). İ have a feeling this guy is associated with pure water, its either he sells pure water or works in a pure water factory. lol...
Bro, you're entitled to your opinion.

Following popular trend in cars has really helped me. I followed the camry trend and it has paid off. Lemme join the Lexus trend.

These cars have a good reason why they are everywhere in PH.

The reason behind their being common is what I've told you. Nigerians ain't silly or blind. They want the best for the least most of them wants the best and are willing to go all out to get that 'best'. I read somewhere in Toyota or Lexus where they state something like "Your car is designed to run longer with minimal maintenance"
I'm going for one of them. But I'm leaning more towards the RX330 or Rx 350.
