Siena:Thanks, and God bless you. Pls tell me more on how mileage affects the overall strength of a vehicle. |
The emphasis shouldn't be speaking in tongues. Instead it should be allowing the Holy Spirit to possess us after we're baptised. Speaking in tongues is an accompanying sign that A Christian is baptised in the Holy Ghost. I'm believing God for that significant experience. Patrick, I dey see you ooo |
carefreewannabe:Sort of. ....I was so sure like I know it all from the beginning before I was even born....... We clicked. No struggle. No eye service. My soul knew it... |
carefreewannabe:My dear, I can't really say. I just knew it. And it was one of those days I wasn't expecting such an occasion. Besides, I had a girl who was almost forcing herself on me. Immediately, I met my wife. .....the rest na story. |
Library. ....you may find her ANY WHERE. Just recognise her...... |
oluyemisee:Yes oo.....That institution don give me wife....just like that. |
cupidhero:Happy Sunday too. Na so e be. Love happens at the weirdest of nooks and cranes. |
missamanda:We can't specifically say if Jesus DIDN'T drink water during His fast of 40 days. Bible didn't provide that information. If one is embarking on a prolonged fast, then water becomes a necessity. We actually did air and water more than we do need food. |
Picks only point 1. The rest are embedded in it. Thanks for sharing with us. |
ITbomb:God bless you, dear. Nothing much to add. Succinctly put. |
pipolad:Thanks for your input. I'll do more negotiations. I'm truly grateful. |
colossus2:Ok. Will try and do that. |
abatically:Thanks a lot for taking out time to educate me. I'll keep ALL your points to heart. I doubt he will go any further down on the price. Besides, how do one do VIN check? |
National Assembly yet to pass a bill stipulating what duration a courtship should last before its consummated into marriage. There's no specific rule about it. If both parties are compatible, and share similar beliefs and values, they can decide to go ahead. Duration of courtship is no guarantee for a successful home. |
colossus2:Just heard the first time too.....they are literally everywhere in PH. Do you approve my buying it? Is it worth it? |
starlingbawa:Seriously, I do not know much about cars. I've been using one for over 3 years. I really appreciate your input. To the naive like me, I too am worried about the mileage. Didn't even know the RX 300 have such an atrocious history. They're everywhere in PH. |
crazysaint:Thanks. But why not? |
patrickdarlins:Bro, why? Pls give me reasons. I'm not a rush ooo |
I've been planning to buy an SUV, and particularly RX 300. A colleague of mine just showed me one he's helping his brother to sell. The interiors aren't that bad. The mileage is somewhere around 194000. He wants to sell at at N1.55 million. Is it a good one? See Pictures.

carefreewannabe:Oya, lemme complete my story. This is a very warm thread. Trust me: I made the very first move. Politely. Gentlemanly. Courteous. Appeared simple. She was preparing for her one of her HND 2 exams. After chatting with her for a while, I politely requested for her digits, which she gave me there and then. I just knew she was going to be my wife. I have been praying for a lifetime since my secondary school days... Left Kaduna June that year and returned back to PH. I actually went to Kaduna for a professional training organised by my organisation. In the end, I returned with two certificates. .U know what I mean na? We kept communications going even after my leaving Kaduna. Visafone hear am for our hand. The calls were long, numerous and relentless. I knew she had other suitors, but I was able to make her see reasons why she should spend the rest of our life with me. I knocked off the other suitors. Actually, she had an accident, and was using crutches. I guess that scared the other suitors, while I willingly and happily stepped in. I was there for her throughput that challenging period. After careful thoughts and deliberations, I felt it was time to make the bold move before water go pass garri. A lady well endowed with such a sumptuous figure? Ridiculously amazing. Factory fitted pointers and spring loaded V-boot? Now couple that with an unassuming, amiable, affable nature! I no fit miss am...... I officially proposed to her November that year; 2008. She instantly accepted and like an Olympic torch, we lit the love candle. It's still burning this morning. She's sleeping beside me as I type. We were in courtship till October, 2009, when it metamorphosed into the marriage it is today. It's being one of my smartest decisions in my whole life. Today, we're blessed with two kids: a boy and a girl. Sophyrocks, where art thou? |
Kaduna polytechnic library. ...May 7th 2008. Just knew she was meant for me.....It's inexplicable shaaa. |
elOnuh:I'm humbled you found my few lines a little helpful. To God be the glory. |
It doesn't. However, the main point in fasting should be the glory of the Lord, not just to show our strongwill. Water doesn't break the fast. |
LordReed:All in all, be the best person you can possibly be. Ur points are very valid, though. |
iykedare:Bro, enjoy. Besides there's nothing that lasts forever; even singlehood passes in a second. I really enjoyed my single days too, but not really like I'm enjoying my home. Only a few things are more satisfying than seeing your wife happy, and your little kids playing around the home. Bros, it's beyond description; beyond words. Enjoy. |
firstEVA:My thoughts. |
carefreewannabe:Probably? Hmmmm |
People must talk! |
elantraceey:That's the core of the issue. We can't expect what we aren't from others. It's not fair. |
My wife? No. I can accept for the rest. Na so e be. |
Marriage is a matter so dear and critical to the vast majority of us, and yet we aren't always really prepared for it. What a paradox! It's the desire of almost every person to hope to get married to one Mr/Mrs Right. Now, there's nothing absolutely wrong with it. But i think we should pay more attention to being the best we can be for our future partner. We need to really train our character for the challenging institution called marriage, if we must succeed therein. I have been married for over 5 years, and blessed with two beautiful kids. And I have a whole lot of experiences, both positive and negative. And careful thought have revealed to me that, for most of the times my wife and I have had serious marital issues, I was to blame. I was more concerned about my RIGHTS than my RESPONSIBILITIES; I had paid more attention to my useless EGO than try to see her point of view. My EGO has caused me more marital pains than my wife. A man with an ego as huge as Mt Everest can NEVER be pleased. And I also realised that whenever I had acted in the best interest of my wife, my home has been a paradise. Every human almost always want to pass the buck of blame to another; we always believe we're the best. We are a deeply selfish people. And SELFISHNESS is the commencement of all human troubles. It's natural for people to demand in others what traits/habits themselves obviously lack. It's human nature. Tough on others; soft on ourselves. It's human nature. Can you marry you? Be the person you want to get married to! Let's ponder this message. Shalom, and God bless. |
It's indeed a dirty and lazy habit. I find it really nauseating when i see guys indulge in this habit. I believe it won't stop till there's some appropriate sanctions. We need to stop it. |
