RX300 & RX330 are like purewater in PH..every corner you turn, you see 3 of them..its an insult to millions of naira.
The RX300 is even more common in PH here. Wherever I turn, I see them. Or is it cos I want to pick one of them?

Shey e no get "SECOND HAND VALUE"? Why you no go buy Ford Bronco or isuzu Rodeo or even Chevy Trailblazer? Leave am, person wey know the worth and value of that motor go come buy am. undecided

Infact, from your summation above, I can safely infer that you're not ready to own that car yet.

QED.
When someone who isn't that knowledgeable wants to buy something like a car, I think they need all the right info before taken their decisions. I will post the pictures when I finally pick one. I'm going for a Lexus, either RX300 or RX330.

I have been using tiny light for over 3 years. Now I need a new car.

Don't know how true it is: a senior colleague in the office told me yesterday that the Lexus RX300 I'm planning to buy, doesn't have SECOND HAND VALUE.

But the matter is, these cars are so common here in PH. I see them wherever I go.

Joke of the year! If you see rx300 2002 at less than 1m, its used in Nigeria and if it isn't registered yet, its stolen or has serious mechanical problems. Op, its a good deal, just check it well before plunging.
Ok. Thanks a lot.

I met him in my year 1..i was packing into my new lodge(off campus) and he was packing into same lodge in a room opposite mine..he was in 300l then, said he wanted somewhere closer to school hence the change of lodge. ..

We became friends (neighbour things cheesy smiley), he told me stuffs about the school, advised me including making good grades, attending lectures, staying off guys, et al.. Talked me into getting a library card and would ask me if I went to the library each time I came back from school...we really became so close, attended morning mass and other church gatherings together (catholics will understand), I could borrow anything from him including beverages, food stuffs etc likewise him. whenever he had food, I wouldn't bother cooking but would simply eat from his, likewise him. he would flash me in the night to get up and read, we sometimes did night calls just to keep sleep off our eyes..During exams, whoever didn't have an exam for that day did the cooking... I can go on and on, we were the best to each other..he was good to me and I was nice to him.. People thought we were related but when they found out the truth, they strted spying on us.. grin angry

All these while, nothing happened between us(it's hard to believe right? but sincerely nothing did), I never passed the night in his room though stayed late sometimes watching movies or gisting while his door was open....

He finally asked me out in his final year and that was the beginning of our romantic relationship cheesy wink.. I actually knew he had interest in me because of his attitude when other guys pestered me....

Anyway, it's 6yrs now and we are engaged.. he has taken the first step of seeing my parents and we are tying the nut come April. ... smiley

Asked him why he kept disturbing me about studies during my early years in the Uni, he said "he wanted to build his world"...Yeah, we both graduated with excellent grades...

I will catch a bullet anyday for him.. His happiness is my priority. . He's my first and only love kiss kiss kiss smiley smiley
He always says "we will teach the world the meaning of true love".. smiley smiley cry

I pray God always not to let this seed of love in us die but get better with time. .. I love you till death sweetheart smiley smiley smiley

Yeah, true love still exists. . cool cool... sorry for the long epistle smiley wink
A beautiful one indeed. Besides, an interesting love story is hardly too long.

Just go about your business; take it not TOO seriously.

At the most casual manner, you may bump into her. Be prepared to recognise her when she comes around.

She may come around so calm, collected, and quiet; she may also come across so talkative, bold and assuming.

Be prepared. Your heart will know it......

Try and drive the car, and listen to the engine (very improtant) check oil level, if short, its burning oil or leaking, go under the car, check for excessive rust ( a little rust is expected) ensure the instrument panel is free of christmas lights (check, vsc, airbags, etc), look for the timing belt replacement tag, that should inform you of when it was changed and if it is due for a replacement, check colour and smell of transmission oil, check suspension for broken rubbers and leaking strauts, check electrical, (windows, sunroof airconditioning,cd player remote locks etc) there's a lot I'm forgetting but that's a little guide that might help.

Good luck

As per the price, ill say 1.3-1.350.
A million thanks, my dear.

People asked for the vin # a million years ago all you have to do is go write it from the windscreen on the dashboard in front of the steering.

That does not look like an American tag so it should be in KMb SUV is American LHD.The discrepancy either means the vehicle was painted or wrong/stolen tag.

Now the guys here can help you check on the vin number and you might find out it was stolen in Nigeria and someone just put European number on it to make it look tokunbo. Remember the selling it for a brother line

The tag is wrong, can confirm the bi fuel spec no sign of LPG fill port so it looks like North American car with European/UK tag
Hmmmm. ....can't get the VIN today oooo

FamilyRe: Your Thoughts About Parents Who Have Favorites Amongst Their Kids? by dein77(m): 1:59pm On Jan 18, 2015
Maybe it's natural. Can't say. For now, I ddon't have any special affinity for any of my kids.

But like you all have pointed out, parents should mask such preferences so as not to cause undue commotion in the home. I wasn't my parents best when growing up, but I'm my dad's best NOW.

It's a terrible thing to be in such a situation where your parents SHOW special preferences to your to your other siblings tthe same isn't said about you.

But then i still believe some kids endear themselves to their parents more than others.

From the tail lamp cluster, I can infer its a facelift model which starts from 2000-2003 but I can't verify if its true because even the tail lamps can be installed on pre-facelift models,
as for the odometer reading 194K, is it in Miles or Kilometers?
Do the rate of wear and tear of various parts match the mileage?
The 194K is in miles.

It started from night class tutorials, practical group and reading together, fortunately we atteneded the same fellowship and in the same unit., so it was not difficult when I asked her out in our final year. Today , she's the mother of my 2 boys. Good to marry your friend.
Short, but beautiful.

Because the car glitters doesn't mean it should go for 1.55m. There's a reason why that 2002 Rx goes for the price quoted.
Negotiating between 1.2m and 1.3m doesn't mean that's the final price he will purchase it.
It's just a benchmark for the OP.
I do no place too much emphasis on physical aesthetics.
