That is the problem with many Nigerians, we do not reason critically and we refuse to say the truth. How can you pay light bill of 3k for a 2 bed room flat and still spend 20k on just petrol a month? You will still buy oil, buy plug and pay the generator repairer. Most households have at least 2 generators yet they pay bill for just having NEPA wire connected to house without light.

Seun really needs to do something about this. His site is fast going to the gutters with the amount of rubbish topics that grace the frontpage (Who Wore It Better? See DJ FloatingTestes' New Car). If you're going to swarm the place with that junk, why not at least balance it out by assigning SuperMod priviledges to posters in the Science and Foreign Affairs sections too? So many good topics just waste in obscurity while TRASH about some 15-microseconds-of-fame celebrity's Instagram selfies assault our eyes.

Did you know I had to start harrassing the moderators with spam mails before that thread of mine about Jonathan's academic paper made it to the frontpage? And it was only 4 days after I had created the thread.

When I was 5, A family friend that I call 'uncle' took me inside their house, and did unspeakable things to me.
When I was 7, my brother molested me for months, and it all started when we were both loosing mum's hair, it started right behind her, what an irony! I remember vividly how he held a vaseline container in his hand,and told me to follow him inside the bathroom,these memories will hunt me forever.
The only solace I could find was in a neighbors older female child,she was 16, I ran to her, thinking I was safe from my brother,only for her to introduce me to a new form of abuse.
At age 9, I was the predator in my class, I abused all my female classmates,I introduced them to this same act.
At age 13, my brother continued,creeping to my bed at night, the only way I will know he came that night, will be the smell of vaseline and dampness between my thighs.but this time I was ready to stab him to death I was way gone with anger and hatred , guess he realized this and stopped finally.
You will ask me why I didn't tell my mum, a million times I wanted to tell her, but I felt dirty, I felt I was not strong enough to say No, and I feared she will accuse me of 'enjoying' it..
This is my tale and I just shared it for the first time,My hands are shaking as I type this, the hurt is still there.
The mistake any parent will make is to turn a blind eye to the evils of molestation and cover your kids with 'the blood of jesus' Parents, you can never protect your kids enough, molestation comes from anywhere,the best you can do is teach your children and always be there for them.
