Media game on a court proceedings? What is the difference between what Olosha Metuh is going through and what Orji Kalu is going through?
Both of them are in court, and the media is reporting court proceedings. The only difference is the drama that Metuh is adding to his own by feigning sickness... Coming to court in stretchers, and wheel chair. Remember he swallowed statements he wrote too.
Just the drama by Metuh.

pardon him he doesn't undreamed economic terms, hence the mediocre response. The inflation rate is an aggregate of changes in prices of goods and services. The rate given only says rate of price increase is slowing down not aggregate prices have dropped. Definitely some prices dropped absolutely while others increased but what we have is the average.

They only focus on garri and rice as they have no other emotions except that originating from their stomach.

The topic says, inflation drops to 14% in
February, not inflation will drop to 14% in
coming months.

If I say price of rice drops from 50naira to 40naira in February, does that mean, what I meant to say is, the price of rice will drop to 40naira in coming month? Seriously?
You still don't get it. Inflation rate dropping does not mean the price of goods will drop immediately. You will need to take some courses in economics to know the difference between inflation, deflation and how they affect price of goods.

This is almost three years and nothing in sight... Yet APC has borrowed in three years double what PDP borrowed in 16 years.

Lagos Ibadan expressway uncompleted...yet over 50% completed under PDP in 2015!!!!

What is APC up to?

The Lagos intracity railways would have changed the face of Lagos transportation completely and by now more routes should have been involved or covered. Imagine having a business at Apapa and you enter Lagos park and board a train to the wharf... imagine the ease and time that would be saved?

I asked this question about a year plus ago but mayoroflagos and co started posting plenty pictures..now three years after Ambode's inauguration I still ask again.

Imagine badagry to oshodi with functional railway system!! Then commodities can move with ease from alaba, trade fair with ease... Not to talk about the people who spend a third of their lifetime stuck in traffic
Stop lying.

Between 2012 to Mid 2015 (3 yrs) , Nigeria borrowed $5 Billion dollars.
Between Mid 2015 to 2017 (approx 3 yrs) Nigeria borrowed $3 Billion dollars.

The previous admin:
(1) Made more money from oil,
(2) Borrowed more money, owed many contractors and workers for years
(3) Depleted the reserve and savings, yet
(4) Left no infrastructure...

Contrast this with current admin:

(1) Made less money from oil,
(2) Borrowed less money, paid many contractors debt and bailed out states
(3) Increased the reserve and savings, yet
(4) Working and delivering on infrastructure Projects

then name the prices of the things that are coming that.

Coming down of the inflation rate will eventually leads to price of food items decreasing in the coming months. I wrote that earlier.

EarthXmetahuman:
stop confusing yourself with simple english.

If its not increasing, its either decreasing or it remains the same.

Inflation rate was 17%
If its soaring or increasing - it goes beyond 17%
If it remains the same - it stays at 17%
If its decreasing - then it will also reflect on the price of goods and services.

E.g when inflation was 17-20% the price of foods like rice was around 17k to 20k
Then when the inflation rate came down a little to like 15-16%, it reflected in the price of rice and other foods.

But since or last year, the price of commodities have remain the same, yet they are telling us that inflation has decreased, and you expect us to believe that?
You are the one confusing yourself. Inflation rate coming down signifies that the rate at which prices are going up is coming down.

does it actually reflect?

Has the price of foods changed in the market?

Name one or 2 things that has come down since january.
The slowing of the inflation rate is driven by a decline in the pace of food price increases. It means prices of food are no longer soaring but stabilizes. This will later be followed by fall in food prices. Eventually, this will lead to reduction in CBN interest rates. They are all interconnected.

Breaking: Metuh arrives court in wheelchair, begs to travel to UK for treatment

MARCH 14, 2018

By Ikechukwu Nnochiri ABUJA –

Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, who is facing corruption charges, on Wednesday, arrived for continuation of his trial before the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, in a wheelchair. Metuh Metuh was wheeled into the courtroom to continue his defence to the seven-count charge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, preferred against him and his firm, Destra Investment Limited. EFCC alleged that he had before the 2015 Presidential election, received N400million from the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, without executing any contract. The agency alleged that the fund was electronically wired from an account that ONSA operated with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to Metuh, via account no. 0040437573, which his firm operated with Diamond Bank Plc.

It told the court that the fund which was released to Metuh and his firm by detained former NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki, retd,‎ ‎was part of about $2.1billion earmarked for the purchase of arms to fight insurgency in the North East. Besides, the prosecution which had earlier closed its case after it called eight witnesses that testfied before the court, equally alleged that Metuh was involved in an illicit transaction that involved the exchange of $2million. Meantime, at the resumed proceeding on Wednesday, Metuh through his lawyer, Mr. Emeka Etiaba, SAN, applied to be allowed to travel to the United Kingdom for medical treatment. Metuh’s lawyer told the court that his client’s health had badly deteriorated in the past two months, a situation he said would require urgent medical attention from his doctors in London.

He tendered as an exhibit, a letter from one Dr. Adrian T. H. Kasey, a Neurosurgeon at Wellington Hospital in London, which he said emphasized the need for Metuh to be treated urgently. However, trial Justice Abang requested both the prosecution and defence lawyers to address him on whether the court could grant Metuh’s request considering that he previously dismissed two similar applications on May 25, 2016 and on February, 2017. Justice Abang who noted that Metuh had yet to appeal both rulings, noted that issues Metuh raised in his present application dated February 23, were the same thing he relied on in the two dismissed applications. It will be recalled that Metuh was on February 9, brought to court in an ambulance, after Justice Abang threatened to revoke his bail and commit him to prison if he failed to appear for his trial.

The threat followed Metuh’s absence in court on two successive dates, though his lawyers tendered reports indicating that he was hospitalized at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu where he was referred to by Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital Nnewi. More details soon.
