Just noticed this few weeks ago.
I don't know if this is something I should take serious, does it have any implication.
The battery life is still as strong as before.

I bought this Acer laptop may last year and it was brand new. last week I was watching a film on it and it just went off even when there is still charge in it. I took it to an engineer as it doesn't switch on after that , the engineer said its panel problem and it can't be rectify anymore please is anyone here who knows a better engineer in Abuja who can help me out.

Please i need help......I'm using hp 2000. My system shut down while upgrading win 8.1 due to low battery, after charging and booting my system kept showing hp logo for some seconds and went blank for some seconds....kept repeating like that for almost 1 hour, i rebooted same thing, removed the battery same do. Dont know what else to do

Good morning good people of this thread. Sorry for my lengthy post please.

I have a hp dv6 1355dx. I bought it used one from eBay. The laptop battery is bad it only lasts for 1 hr 30 minutes. And if I plugged in the ac and the laptop charged to some level, the charging will stop and show '' plugged in not charging''. I posted the problem here and I was asked to perform battery test and calibrate the battery. I did the battery test and the result showed that battery is weak and I should get a replacement. And some few days later anytime I start the laptop, before booting it will write '' the system detected the capacity of the battery stated to be very low. The battery may need to be replaced'', then it will proceed and boot on.

What I posted above is not the major problem of the system that is troubling me. I just gave an insight of the situation of the laptop which I think will be helpful in addressing my problem.
The main problem is, the system was formally running on Windows 7 and it began acting up. When I power on the system and begin watching movies or browsing, the laptop will work OK for 2 to 3 minutes then start running very slow and the movie will freezes but I can move the cursor and close the player or the browser . I thought it was virus or malware attack, so I formatted the laptop and installed windows 8.1 yesterday, but the problem took a new shape now, the laptop will works fine when plugged in to ac but exhibits same problem of freezing when on battery , it also run little bit doing nothing. Can this problem be due to the battery being bad please?

Guys plz help me out. Before I went to camp last
October, my Toshiba laptop has been
malfunctioning. I reformatted it, did everything I
could but some keys on the keyboard refuses to
press. Attimes while using it, it will just show blue
screen and starts rebooting. I later left it home for
the 3weeks NYSC camp, and on returning back, I
powered it but the screen wasn't displaying again.
I just have to leave it there.

I must av deactivated the receive via Bluetooth button somewhere, somehow, cos I can still send OUT via Bluetooth to other devices.

Your HOME key could be stuck. Try pressing it and releasing it and see if there is any change.

Try opening onscreen keyboard to see if it registers as being pressed down there.
