Mr. Emmanuel Babayaro my first advice to you is that you should remove the speck in your eye before removing the plank in other peoples eyes. Who is more confused between you and Keshi? Are you now a coach? Are you after the Job of Nigeria's coach? Please mind your business. What gives you the guts to insult our gaffer "Skipo". Infact who are you to call "Skipo" confused. Do you think Skipo left football to be feeding on his brothers wealth like you?

"Early Muslims regarded Aisha's youth as demonstrating her virginity and therefore her suitability as a bride of Muhammad. This issue of her virginity was of great importance to those who supported Aisha's position in the debate of the succession to Muhammad. These supporters considered that as Muhammad's only virgin wife, Aisha was divinely intended for him, and therefore the most credible regarding the debate"

No wonder the 7 virgins in paradise after killing unbelievers with bombs.

"In Islamic writings, her name is thus often prefixed by the title "Mother of the Believers" (Arabic: أمّ المؤمنين umm al-mu'minīn), per the description of Muhammad's wives in the Qur'an.[2][3][4] Aisha was married to Muhammad at the age of six and the marriage was consummated when she was nine years old."

I now see why some Liberians and Sierra Leoneans curse Nigerian Soldiers. I pray the curses continue to follow them. Hausa-Fulanis have almost succeded in wiping the Beroms living in the outskirts of Jos to the extent that the Beroms lost their Senator and member of House. The poor villagers have decided to organize themselves and form a vigilante to protect themselves from the Hausa Fulani monkeys, Nigerian soldiers have now decided to start arresting the poor indegenes of Jos instead of going after the Boko Haramists. Shame on Nigerian Army.

Nigerian Army has proved to the world that they are even the ones that come out to carry out the attacks so that they would not be sent back to the Barracks. They are really making a hell of money from the situation. These soldiers are trained to kill simple. Its either they go back tothe barracks or they go to Sudan, Somalia, Mali or Syria where there is War. May the Nigerian soldiers involved in all these nefarious acts continue to suffer for all the innocent blood they've shed and allowed to be shed in Plateau state. The blood money they've been making will continue to be a curse on them their generations and generation's generation.

I like this. Mr. Ibrahim in all honesty which religion and tribe are synonymous with originating crises. Just for once in your life tell the truth and shame the devil. I am not from Plateau but I have been in this state for the past 40yrs. The first crises was sept 9 2001. Do you know the cause? At Congo junction bauchi road. A lady xtian crossed a so called prayer ground and the Hausa/Fulani Muslims revolted since that day it has been fire for fire. Back to my point. The question is who started the Fight/Killing.
Politics / Re: Tension In Plateau As STF Orders Fulani Out Of Ancestral Villages by dejyx: 9:26pm On Jul 14, 2012
CuteTj: exactly! Your head is correct! This decision will cause more problems than solutions. The STF should increase surveillance in both local governments then dialogue between both tribes should be employed not outright sacking of these Nigerians just because they aren't indigenes in the states they reside.

Please be realistic. Igbos dont go shooting innocent women and children at night wherever they are. Igbos dont even go attacking people at a Mass burial of the result of their killing. Igbos are welcome to any part of the world because they help in economic growth simple. I am not Igbo but never you compare Igbo and Fulani.

Mr. Ibrahim, if you want to live in Rome behave like the Romans. Plateau is a land of peace and tourism. Plateau is home to only peace loving people if Fulanis cant abide by this, they should be shown the way out. I know they are your brothers but I think you should understand that it has never been in history that the people of Plateau go to another state like Sokoto, Borno, Kano, Katsina etc and go killing innocent people (Old men, Women, Pregnant women and Children)at night.

Ibrahim you have your Sharia states and if I go there I abide by your rules and regulations. If ever you and your brothers come to the Plateau you should do likewise or be shown the way out.

My friend please come to Barkin Ladi to be thinking strategically if Fulani people will not wipe you out of existence. So you can think better than the thousands that have lost their lives to Fulani insurgence. You can even think better than late Senator Dantong and Honourable Fulani Gyang.

The president has spoken the truth. I love the comment where someone was sarcastic and said that "we are supposed to be one country with terrorist north". I have lived in Jos for about 40yrs now and I have actually observed the way these core northerners think. Once they can't have something the mess up the whole place by killing, burning, looting or bombing. In the case of Plateau state, Jos-North LGA was created so that they can become indigenes of Plateau and probably rule Plateau someday. The Plateau man decoded their master plan and came out to say the Hausa man in Jos is a settler not an indigene. Since 2001 till date Jos has never seen peace.

From all indication the core northerners feel leadership is their birth right, they feel they are born to rule. Since they cant rule Nigeria or since Nigeria is being ruled by an "infidel" "kufr" "outcast" from the south. The Northerners have brought nothing but shame to this country. The Abdulmutalabs the Yusuf Mohammeds, the Kabiru Sokotos have made Nigeria to be tagged as a terrorist country. We all know that we the southerners of our dear nation do not have this kind of character at all.

The fact remains that the north was never for independence and they are not ready for just leadership.

its rather strange to blame this crisis on the governor without blaming the jobless fanatical uneducated hausa/fulani folks who started the crisis in the first place. I think it will be intelligent to say the governor contributed to worsen the crisis, just like you and me, but responsible? think again.

We all know the truth. folks that live in Jos know for sure the root cause of the crisis, we are just deceiving ourselves.

They are not natives simple,  is that so hard to understand? Now since you know its a matter beyond this debate, the back your earlier statement that said hausa/fulani, settled in Jos since the 18th century
Ayowumie:

Just listen and read carefully. Jos crisis has never been this protracted. Crisis is not however new in Jos but it has never been in this dimension. What people are saying is the present spate of crisis in Jos was aggravated by the govt of Jonah David Jang. With all due respect to him, perhaps he never knew it would result to this. But like every pdp member, one think they think about is winning and winning an election at all cost. Remember in 2007, OBJ said the election was a do or die affair. That was how Jang treated the 2008 local govt election in Jos North LGA. He was warned, (u could read my earlier post). In summary, what i am saying is that this dimension of Jos crisis could have been averted if the Plateau state govt had not played politics with it. I was opportuned to attend to the Plateau Stakeholders Reconciliation Workshop last year and I got the gist first hand. The hand of the govt is not clean.
Wether Hausa Fulanis are native of Plateau State is a matter beyond this debate.

I think I understand you now.  It is simple we both have different mindsets.  You are trying to give reason why people should go on violence and mayhem.  I am trying to say here that there is no point going on rampage violence mayhem looting burning etc after you loose an election.  There is a panel to where you go and lay your complaints in a civil manner.  Ayowumie I dont think you should look for excuses to support massive and dreadful killing.

Hausa Fulanis have settled in jos as far back as the beginning of 18th century when Dan Fodio and co were propagating the expansion of islam through coercion. However, I dont what we can call them, either native or not cos Nigerian constitution does not define who a native is.

I am happy you used the word settled. For peace sake they should remain settlers.  The Uhrobos and Yorubas were earlier settlers why arent they using  dagas and sickles to chase the natives, of Jos,Igbos,Yorubas, Uhrobos etc around. About the Nigerian constitution I am sure with time all that about native or settler will be clearly spelt out later. Before that is done I think we deserve some peace in Jos City. You are talking about JIHAD of 18th century in the 21st century? Things cant work like that any longer. The Hausa Fulani can try anyway but it is going to be difficult for them to capture Jos by JIHAD this 21st Century.

The present crisis was caused by the ethnocentric government (Jang) backed by the notorious big party, PDP. The govt and the pdp machineries were warned not impose a candidate on Jos North LGA  but they never listened.

If Jang and the people of Plateau state decide to impose a candidate on Jos North LGA I think we the people living in Jos know the right quarters to lay our grievances. It does not give us the right to go burning houses 1am in Ali Kazaure streets when christians are sleeping.  After all the states which these settlers came from have been declared Sharia states nobody from Plateau has gone to these states complaining that the Governors of these states imposed Sharia on them. If you are not comfortable with what the state imposes on you, you vamoose.

The Jos crisis has never been this protracted. Everybody is putting blame on Jang cos of his insensitivity and partisan politics that he displayed in handling the local govt election.
the devil and the deep blue sea

Protracted is quite vague? Please be specific. Jos has been tense since the IBB era when Jos North was created in dariyes 8 yrs there was protracted crises which even led to state of emergency so how can you say protracted when Jang has only ruled for 4 yrs.

Lets all wake up please whether we are Fulani Hausa Igbo Yoruba etc. Once we have come to a peace loving state like Plateau and are not satisfied with the terms instead of fighting lets go back to where we are comming from peacefully.

Childish talk.  How will the President perform under CPC violence/Mayhem, Boko Haram, Sucide Bombers, Jos violence, Kala Kato etc.  Let Buhari tell his people to stay calm then we can judge GEJ fairly.  It is clear that these Hausa/Fulani people feel rulership is there birth right.  They are simply creating a state of chaos in the nation to make Nigeria ungovernable so that they can now say they are better rulers.  What does Buhari want? Probably he wants GEJ to resign so that he can ascend the mantle of leadership.  The plans of Buhari and co are so glaring. Sponsor violence, suicide bombers make Nigeria a mess so that you can now say GEJ is a failure.  I think the  Hausa/Fulani people should come up with something more intelligent than this their violence.

The truth?
Do you know one gentleman called Gowon. He is not hausa. Neither is he Fulani. and he is not a muslim. He, a christian, ruled for 9years.
Obasnajo ruled for 8 years. the only problem ha had came from the South - MEND, The Istekiri/Ijaw war
The Northerners supported a hale and hearty Obasanjo to assume office
Obasanjo rewarded them by arranging for a sick person to take over from him
The actual reason why power is back to the South so fast

Oh yes Gowon. He was a stooge. You know how you guys play the game. Those tricks of the Hausa/Fulani man are all over. Try it now and you will see what happens. Gen. Yakubu Gowon is a Christian from plateau state he is Angas by tribe from Pankshin Local Government. He was placed there after the coup of 1966 when Gen. Aguyi Ironsi an Igbo man was killed. Gowon had to be used to give that coup credibility. The Hausa/Fulani guys were there at the background. Nigerians have opened their eyes now so you Hausa/Fulani people cant decieve us any longer. You know what? Before 2001 Jos crises Plateau people thought the Hausa/Fulani man was his brother. But the game has changed the Hausa/Fulani man has shown his true color it cant happen again for the Hausa/Fulani man to use a Christian Plateau man.

Talking about OBJ's tenure, Mend was fighting for resource control they were under-deprived, their land which feeds Nigeria was underdeveloped so they had to rise up. Ken Saro Wiwa one of the men who championed that cause using peaceful/non-violent means was HUNG to death by Abacha and you know what happens when you kill a civil person who you can negotiate with, other agrieved groups will rise up. Those other groups might not be able to handle the struggle diplomatically/peacefully or with civility. That is how mend etc came up. Itsekiri/Ijaw, Ife/Modakeke etc came up under OBJ quite alright but these where communal clashes between tribes in southern nigeria. These were not attacks targeted at slaughtering southern corpers or southerners in general. Please dont compare these with BOKO HARAM, SHARIA or CPC Killings. You know what happens during Boko Haram, Kala Kato, Sharia related crises or CPC killings, churches are burnt business destroyed after looting and able southerners slaughtered on a large scale. I cant change your orientation but please dont stand for or support this kind of sectarian/tribal/religous killings targeted at a part of Nigeria.

On Yaradua it is a pity he died may his gentle soul continue to rest in peace. I think the notherners supported him when he was pushed forward. They should have cried foul when OBJ presented him instead of waiting for him to die. Nobody on earth knows when he is going to die or can predict when another fellow man will die. It is God that has the final say. If God permits, the man you are calling sick will be alive today and there is nothing any of us can do about it. It just unfortunate he died all of us must die one day. As the man was on his sick bed it was a thug of war to release power to his deputy because his deputy then was a christian southerner.

About power returning so fast? Notherners have ruled Naija for almost 40 years out of our 50 years existence so what is this thing about power returning so fast.

The truth stings the ears.

The Hausa people in this country feel rulership is their birth right.  They just cant stand being ruled by Nigerian Christians from the South. Lets ask ourselves when the Abacha's, the Babangida's the Buhari's, the Abdulsalam's the Shagari's the Murtala's the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa's where ruling Nigeria why wasnt there clamour for Sharia or why didnt CPC guys slice corp members that are xtians or why wasnt Boko Haram bombing.

This is a clear case of sabotage.  Once the Hausa/Fulani man cant have something he draws the sword.  He is not like the southern xtian. In modern times once the Hausa/Fulani man cant have what he wants he detonates the bombs.  It is very sad.

Thank God Ojukwu warned us all about these people right from the 60's we refused to listen.  Dimka passed a message we refused to listen.  Gideon Orkar even re-drew the map in the 90's we refused to listen. One of my all time greatest is Gen Zamani Lekwot rtd.  remember how he treated the Hausa/Fulani Bastards in Zangon Kataf ever since has any Hausa/Fulani Idiot coughed in Kataf Land? Secondly is Chief Josua Chibi Dariye he bleeped them up in Yelwa Shendam Plateau state now if you pay the idiots even $1billion they will never go there.  If we dont treat these idiots like that Nigeria is Dooooooomed.  Enough is enough.
