Yes. I heard of a research that lets you charge your phone when you shout into it.

The logic is that VIBRATION of the waves are used to activate sensitive electronic components (dunno any for now). Just like when you walk, the oscillating movement of your feet can be converter to rotary motion needed to generate electricity (read on Electricity generating shoes/sneakers).


The human sound produces around 87-88 dB (thanks to teempakguy). This, relative to amount of electricity needed is like saying you need a straw to siphon the ocean.


But with booster circuit, we can generate reasonable amount of electricity. Say 12W/ 20V(dunno if such circuit exists, but sure I/We could make one).
