iammo: Smart guy, trying to win some sympathy vote after yeye Bello and Co made statements like they are the gods of ekiti state. Fayose better use this hospital level, to run while he still can, because what Buhari has in stock for him is more than that of Kanu and Families disappearance or elzhakzaki and families murder an indefinite incarceration . From now on police would trail him closely till after his immunity is over why won't he when olisa Metuh and Dino melaye use the same tactics to prey on Nigeria emotions that's the new style Nigeria politics is full of comedy both PDP and APC are birds of a feather |
Crime › Re: Guy Caught After Disguising As Lady In Order To Kidnap Children In Rivers. Photo by deleo16(m): 7:09pm On Jul 11, 2018 |
namet: When you have over 100 million of very poor people living in a country, then crimes will be the order of day in such a place. My take is that it will get worst, if we refuse to begin to solve the problems of this country.
That starts with electing competent leaders that run the country and states like a business. Running government like a business eliminates waste spending and stealing. Do CEOs of companies steal their organization's monies and take them to other countries?
Do they waste their company's moneys on white elephant projects? Do they inflate contracts to steal or connive with their vendors to defraud their organizations so their companies lose money and potentially go out of business, which is how our government is operated?
If states are run like a business, we will see that every state can create massive amounts of employment opportunities because we'll then be able to take advantage of our land resources.
Malaysia is developed using agriculture - palm oil in particular. So, not idiot should say the Agric sector cannot create jobs. Imagine what will happen if every governor uses all unused lands in their state to setup plantation-style farms.
Food, raw materials, export revenues, and jobs will abound if this is done. Then we can use the raw materials to develop and power the next phase of industrialization in terms of processing and value addition, and creation of totally new foods and products based on our unique environment.
We can do it. Let us do this, otherwise, crime will consume everybody eventually. Everyone will be a victim of a crime regardless of whether you live in Abuja or in Lekki if we fail to fix this country. God bless ur generation 1000like you just said what's inside a book on why Africa is poor the book "why nation fail "even explain nogales in Mexico a bother town with USA those on the opposite site are very poor and those on the northern side are Rich WHY

saintandsinnerz: Hahahahhaahaaha I was so surprised when I saw the previous thread and I was like Kazakhstan kwa? A very poor country that is not better than Nigeria. Here in Korea, they are many doing odd jobs, overstaying their visas and running away from immigration because they don't want to go back to their country. I have many of them in my language class and I know how they live here. I keep telling people to always research a country before travelling out because some of these countries are worse off than Nigeria! You see Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and all other former Soviet Union countries, and all South Asian countries, East European countries, run away from them. Even Russia, run away, they are many here doing odd jobs. Na who no go no know, and who no know no go. I will advise you to just come back to Nigeria, forget about the shame, you will overcome it. It is better than wasting time there. Come back and arrange yourself and travel to a good country with a good economic prospect. As big as Asia is, the only two countries I will advise somebody to go is South Korea and Japan if your aim is to work and make money, China if your aim is for business, Singapore is also good but it is a city-level country and they usually hire high-level professionals in IT and finance industry. All other Asian countries are a waste of time and resources! james A. Robinson why nation fail the origin of powers

Fools shouting restructuring restructuring up and down don’t even know the meaning and what it entails. We are we are today because of bad leaders not because the nation is not restructured. God bless you u have said it all,i always ask what are they restructuring to favour elites in the geopolitical zone not the masses it's when masses hold govt official accountable then things will start changing in this country @trackaNG

Veteran comedian Ali Baba has pen down a heart wrenching note in reaction to the tanker fire at Lagos Ibadan express which claimed many lives
He wrote
In organized societies, where traffic is a major issue, tankers and heavy duty vehicles move at night or at specified times. In developed climes, MOT agencies... are as serious as the police force. In some other climes, that have deep shores like we do, only one port can not be used for discharge of staples like fuel, and even then, fuel and transportation of inflammable contents are done in controlled methods. We are a Lawless country. If government tries to organize these same tankers now, they will go on strike, shut down the economy and day to day running, and we will let them continue. Same thing with teachers... try to get them to go get retrained and be bwtter qualified to teach, they will strike and wr are back to status quo. We do not punish people who even chop monies meant for projects. Projects that have been captured in the budget and monies released. The same people who chop the monies will now be in the ruling party and to prosecute them becomes a No No. And as nothing is done to them another person will do it. Just imagine. Nigerians died today because of avoidable precautions and failure to create policies and laws that have consequences that could have detered that tanker from being on that road. But no. Law makers dont care. The Executives no send and the JUDICIARY is not jailing them. Bet me, more tankers will fall. Nothing will be done. Nothing.

majekdom2: Unplanned Route system and over population is the reason for traffic in lagos. More buses would not solve the problem. There ought to be a rail system connecting island to mainland instead of that bridge alone. A railway system plus internet of things technology would solve this problem by almost 80 percent. |

skarlett: Ambode the bus stop and bus governor should look into other areas of transportation biko. With the population density in Lagos, underground trains as alternative means of transportation would be better because it would reduce the stress of traffic. He should stop buying buses and adding to the road congestion and instead provide other means of transport. |
