Nice one. This should be a morale booster to all entrepreneurs out there.

On the other hand, I’ve observed with utmost amazement that the fastest way to get attention on Nairaland now is to post senseless and derogatory comment about Buhari. It seems some just sit, doing nothing only waiting for such comments just to click likes. I suspect they are jobless.

And these are the same set of people shouting go and get your PVC and vote out Buhari. I guess they now distribute PVC on Nairaland.

With their hate-filled and pathetic rants online, doubt if these people can make any reasonable, objective and politically-correct decision on any political matter. Only unrepentant losers behave this way.

And whoever they support will end up being a loser as well.

Only the deep can call to the deep.

I really wish the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity people can be tagged on this thread. This is truly an eye opener.
they cant do anything as long as People looking for job are more than job itself not the other way round no labour law will be adhere to as long as some one is an illiterate in India and won bet money he can come to Nigeria and start business reason not farfetched."LOW JOB LARGE population "

Entrepreneurship and skill development!!!

Instead of wasting time doing these hopeless peanut jobs with no future, pls go and learn valuable skills like fashion designing, welding, carpentry on a high skill level, plumbing, POP, metal works, tiling, web design + programming/coding, graphics design, etc or plan and migrate to a more promising country legally.

These jobs will only kill your self esteem, make you more scared of the future and more scared to face the future. They kill time and waste future angry

Nigerian graduates must forget that useless status: "I am a graduate", it no longer holds water....the value has died...any graduate still feeling fly because he or she graduated from either university, polytechnic or college of education is wasting his or her time. forget the name and humble yourself and join others to do whatever they are doing to survive.
God bless you u already proffer solution let me add to this our parent are part of the blame game of this and society I was on twiiter I i saw a first class maths graduate looking for job and also process MSc certificate I was like this country is heading for the rock unemployment @ 18% ,underemployement is even more in our society,so many other unemployed graduate with MSc use that opportunity to advertise their self , we need an overhaul of the university educational system that create people to seek for job rather than train them to create job e.g south Korea I watch a documentary on south Korea educational system youth in their early 20s riding eletric car where able to afford them most of them are Dr and also entrepreneur all thanks to overhaul of their eduxational syatem to creat jobs .To create one I don't know how hard is it to infuse in pratical skill or life related skill in school project from 100lvl till final year by tasking students to create a product or service in an course of study e.g chemistry and this will carry a very large unit maybe 30unit or more and this courses must including sales and marketing plus entrepreneur infuse inside this project in u only pass or graduate when u are create the product or serve and u are able to sell it to people and make money this this must start from 100lvl then the school will reduce unnecessary course workload to and pick this relevant one to join with this , u will see drastic change ,this will create more jobs but what do we have the opposite as long as there are millions of Nigerians looking for few jobs labour will be cheap in Nigeria is not a curse it just the bitter truth may God help us watch this for better understanding

I thought am the only person who noticed the trend.
Same thing happened last week to a Democrat candidate for Minnesota state attorney general but the party weren't having it at all.
The woman in question even said she had the evidence but she doesn't know where she kept it.The question on everyone's lip is why now,why not before ?
Maybe Linda has done her own investigation before reaching such conclusions and decision though.
I hope thorough investigations would be done to settle the matter once and for all.
that's the trend now in USA along with feminism they are also trying so hard to bring down Donald trump or why do you think they gave people of the year award to " women who accuse men of rape whether true or not I don't know

Nice.

The only reason Theresa May is in Nigeria is to negotiate trade deal and sign bilateral agreements with regards to post-Brexit UK era. She is simply here for what they can get. Our leaders too should use the opportunity to negotiate favourable deals to our advantage and and not be subservient.

It is all about self interest. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nigeria needs to start creating 50,000 new jobs per day to keep employment rate at it's current level

What's the way forward my dear country?

Are we going to continue like this for the next decade?

And note that even if we have visionary leaders like Obama, Putin and Trump, Nigeria won't still work

Our problem as a nation is a collective development with our leaders sharing less than 10% of the overall inputs

Until we change our mindset, priorities, passion, fantasies, exposures, adventures, mental orientations, intellectual sophistications, psychological advancements, emotional inadequacies, social imbalances, religious approach, technological worldview and scientific inclinations, we are not going anywhere

We joke with almost everything that happens to us as a nation

We politicized everything

A President just called our President lifeless and instead of being sad and showing sobber reflection, we're busy hailing him and castigating our own

We're also the most confused people still living on this planet

You want Buhari to be out of office and go back to Daura but according to you

Saraki is corrupt, Atiku is a looter, Tambuwal is politically confused, Donald Duke is just wasting his time

You want the youth to take over but according to you

Sowore that can't even win an LGA election or even an SUG election

You're just being indecisive and quite irritating to the rest of the Western world

Start getting your priorities right and stop engaging in unnecessary inenarrable protest on social media

You can't vote in an illiterate into office and expect the performance of Clinton

I don't believe you. Don't come here and discredit the only youth Nigerians want to vote for. Kingsley Moghalu is what Nigeria needs now and the youth are wiser now not to sell their vote.

I am a Yoruba and I will vote Kingsley Moghalu a million times if I can. Having said that, I'm going to campaign rigorously for him simply because I believe in his agenda. 2019 is zoned to competency and not tribe or party politics.

We need someone that can salvage this country, and Kingsley Moghalu stands out of all the packs.

Nice to hear, thank you.

I'm an autodidact, a maverick, and a great observer. I study and understand the world that I exist in, and make my own conclusions, not just following the herd unjustifiably.

The Swedish theory of love is basically the endgame of feminism. Where men will be reduced to nothing but sperm donor to women. One in every child in Sweden is born through artificial insemination, and the country host some of the world's most aggressive, militant feminist. Sickening
thank God for people like you that refuse to follow the herds mentality

What most Nigerian ladies don't know is that; You can't have a position exclusively because you're a woman, you've to earn it. The African tradition is not against feminism. What you call canonization today was first practiced by the Africans that exalted women of virtue and in the some cases were made deities. Yes women were treated with respect and dignity. I wonder how many girls of today can boast about the virtues of our mothers past.

Till these shallow brains understand that feminism is another mind weapon against the beautiful marriage and family system in Africa the better for them.

Politics › Re: Why Is No One Talking About Restructuring Anymore? by deleo16(m): 6:35pm On Aug 26, 2018
Efewestern:
Truth is, even if you restructure the country, with useless leaders at the helm of affairs, there won't be any development, take a look at Bayelsa, even with her huge allocation, nothing to show for it, their leaders keep looting their common wealth.

Corruption is the root cause of our problems, We have no working refineries today because the power that be won't let anything function reason being that they rake in millions from fuel importation and Subsidy.

We flare enough gas in Nigeria to power 4 gas turbines, thereby solving our power problems, but every administration seems clueless about the issue on ground, worst is the billions being budgeted for this same issue every year, nobody is sincere, they just want to loot till we have nothing.

I can go on and on, if you look at most of our major problems, it all boils down to one major thing, corruption, if you restructure the country without looking at how to curb corruption, then there won't be any difference, just that some leaders and governors will have more to loot.

Simply put, the leaders of this country are evil, the people are worst, we aid criminals.
God bless your generation for this comment it was when I read this books me that I am always sentimental about tribe, party It was just like my zombie dispair all the leaders in this country APC and PDP are useless including my region the leaders are useless

Education in the real sense of it is not a scam. What I would call scam is packing certificates up and down, which is what Nigerians do.

Just the other day, my friend said he was through with his masters, and proceeding to do PhD. What is he packing all the certificates for?

Mind you, this my guy doesn't have any bankable skill or practical skill that corporate employers are seeking. So, how is his certificate going to get him a job?

Now, if you look through his CV, you see him mentioning great communication skill, good interpersonal relationship and team playing as his skills.

Are those "real" skills?

Nigerians should start embracing proper education and not packing certificates up and down.
your are right we just craving for certificate up and down but not being able to solve life skill relating to what you study I would rather take a course on busnies development from those who has build business empire than go do master that one will still chase job up and down ,the real education is to solve life problem but here is the other way round

Christianity Etc › Re: Woman Who Used To Go To Church 3 Times A Week, Stops After Visiting UK by deleo16(m): 10:32pm On Aug 21, 2018
eleojo23:
We are mostly practicing religion here.

If Nigeria becomes developed and there is less hunger in the land, you will see that most people will stop going to church.

That is when you will know those who really love God for who He is and not for what they can get from Him.

But honestly we have too many church programs in this country sha...from Monday to Sunday...one program or the other...haba!

Moderation is necessary so that church activities don't take the place of real personal intimacy with God himself.
Churches keep members busy all week long so that they don't even have time to study the Bible by themselves hence they depend on their pastors to teach them the Bible and they believe whatever the pastor says without checking to see if it's correct.
That is how Christian 'zombies' are made.

I don't want to join issues with the Bishop in this platform for respect for the Word of God. But the truth is that any man of God who would always want 'his prophesy' to come to pass is a proud person. The always want to be religiously correct. Ego is at work. Prophesies are God's words and it is left for God to do whatever He wishes with His word.

If you need consultancy services, PM me!
I feel u bro what this country need is a strong institution (light, security, good road ,reformed police, good healthcare package)not increasing in minimum wage that what people should clamour for if salaries are increased IYa skira will increase price of her fish stock ,chinoso will increase price of his shoe ,hawudu will increase the price then price of goods and services will go up
