Wonder why North Korea with all her Atheism is still regressing.
You are a special case of daft! Christianity reigns supreme in near absolute control in five continents of the world. And they happen to be the most peaceful, liberal parts of earth. As a matter of fact the Britain that brought Christianity to Nigeria was far greater than the directionless Britain of today with dwindled Christian worshippers and an uncertain future.

So shut up and look elsewhere for reasons why your country has refused to progress and leave Chistianity-blaming out of a country which has been failing even before the first missionary set a foot on its soil ...
exactly I have said it religion has nothing to do with development the question most should ask does Christianity reject technology or education "NO" but majority blame Christianity for lack of development

I really don't understand idiots like these, the countries built their economies on slavery, colonization, looting, theft, wars, oppression and pogrom - you are calling them thieves in 2018, when at this stage they don't really care what you call them!

Swiss the same country that colaborated with the Nazis during ww2 to steal even gold teeth from dying jews in concentration camps for hiding in Swiss banks and you think insults will fave them?

Find a way to do the same to them instead of name calling - they don't give a shyte what you call them as long as they get the money!

Add tarrifs on good from Swiss, reduce their investments in Nigeria or apply penalties and fines to their organizations in Nigeria to the tune of the same amounts they steal from you.
exactly reminds me of wolf on wall street movie ,swiss is where any rich criminal minded store money no need for verification

Sometimes I wonder what we Nigerians want.... We keep judging and voting on social media, we seem to "not" like every candidate seeking political office. Here comes a man who you know little about politically, yet you already ruling him out. Do we always want the same set of people ruling us? Do we want the same set of God fathers calling the shots? I can remember Trump was a billionaire when he contested, He was a shrewd businessman, and he won. Let's pick a side and help actualize what we believe is the best for our darling country.

I like the idea of businessmen, technocrats and others coming into politics, unlike the "agberos" and political Methuselas of our time.

And the same brand will spend millions of naira to endorse an artists.

Education is just a necessary evil. Just stay true to your talent make it a side hustle if you're still in school. These First class things that gets chicken and yam is no life.

The best student thing that finally end up working under someone that can control or determine is future is no life. (That's if he gets a job)

Truth is, once you leave the four walls of school, there's nothing like best student or first class. The real hustle just started.

Just smarter ones with existing side hustle, you should be balanced by the time, at least a little enough not to feel the heat.

Discover your skill, brand yourself and enter the market.

Nigeria, my country. Most pensioners that worked for over 20yrs in this country hardly get up to 10% of most of these ex-governor's pension coupled with delays in their pension payment.

On the other hand, most ex-governors who worked for an average of 8yrs in addition to spending their retirements as senators or ministers with juicy salaries earn this much.

Why can't there be a law that stops them from collecting pensions from their states as long as they and still in active service?

Dear Nigerians, this madness and selfishness need to stop. We all own Nigeria and not just a few persons who do not slightly have the interest of Nigeria at heart.

Don't be so quick to jump on a comment just because you perceive ill intent. Take another minute to confirm what you think you understood.

Women who can afford to take care of themselves, can afford to have standards with men. A growing number of women fall into this category these days. They would rather stay single than be with someone who gives them no value. There was a time when women were so financially dependent on men that all of a man's vices would fade into the background when compared with his ability to provide a living. I can't say that this doesn't happen anymore, but it is definitely becoming less frequent. Now that women have more freedom to evaluate what they want from a relationship, it has become clear that while men in general are still common as water, men of quality are few and far between.

The words in green: There used to be a time when the most important benefit to a woman from relationships (marriages in particular) was financial security. In those days, women did not have the luxury to pursue anything else (like love) and they even had to overlook certain vices (like infidelity, for instance)

The words in blue: Now that an increasing number of women can provide for themselves, they are no longer confined to needing financial security, and they can decide what qualities in a man would give their life value.

The words in purple: the freedom to evaluate what they want from a relationship. Does this not mean that they aren't limited to wanting money? angry After this evaluation, some women will decide they want good companionship, or someone responsible to raise kids with, or whatever else there is to want from the plethora of things men have to offer. But all these requirements shrink the pool of eligible men. Because not all men can give a certain woman good companionship. And not very many would be considered responsible father-types by a specific woman. For the women in focus, if they cannot find what they are looking for, they would stay single. It is not a matter of life or death if you are looking to meet desires. If it comes, hurray; if it does not, life goes on.

Quality is the degree to which something meets requirement. So, when I say that men of quality are few and far between (as a result of women affording standards), it is precisely because these women aren't looking at finances (exclusively) anymore, and they are begging men to have more to offer than their check-books. But if they don't, why should she bother? to prove to you that she can value a man? That should not be a woman's burden.
its called men crises

v2:
It is clear and simple.
The probability of having a male child is 25% while it is 75% for a female child hence for every male child born there will be a corresponding possibility of 3 female born too.

The most hazardous occupation is dominated by men. Too many men die everyday from work related illness. For example, how many police women have you heard died in the line of duty? How many women in the military die in the line of duty? I guess no one can give a figure. The women will never be put in the line of fire. How many female sailors do you know? How many female palm wine tappers do you know? How many female do you know clean windows of high rise buildings, pain telecom masts, use Rope access technique to go overboard offshore platforms e.t.c? How many female do you know do deep see diving?
The rate at which men die from these high risk activities have also added to the case of birth rate earlier mentioned.
That is why when i see feminists making so much noise on social media i just feel they talk because they have diarrhea of the mouth. If you want equality then put your money where you mouth is. Pick up a gun and go to the front line. Do what the men do and you can get the equality you want. Nature already provides equity because it is what a woman needs not equality.

As for why you have so many unmarried women, we as a people have lost our family values. The roles of a man and a woman in the home are not taught. In as much as responsible men are few, finding a wife is like going looking for a coin under the sea. The young men and women have been consumed by the ills of our society and whether you like it or not, after a man and a women have lived a reckless life, the man will still easily pick a wife. The wife is the pride of of the husband so preserve yourself as a woman. Whether a man have sex with you or not, if he wants to marry you, he will.

For the females on this thread attributing the reason to guys not able to measure up so they prefer to remain single and have children, that's all bullsh*t. It is the option available and not the preferred. If every guy dating a girl decides to propose right now, how many will say know? except those screwing the one guy for money and dating another. So to me remaining single and having children is rarely what the woman wants.
not far fetch one must go back to history

Most men of this generation are mentally weak and unable to handle life circumstances. Relying on weed/ alcohol, cigarettes or any kind of drug to function.

Most are lazy and not ambitious looking for easy quick money.

Not responsible, looking for a woman to help them or give them money. I don’t blame them, most were raised by women with the father absent or barely there. They don’t understand what it means to be a MAN.

Most men have poor financial management. Spend all their days on social media, betting, money on random women. It’s pitiful.

Most men never take responsibility for themselves. Always looking for one person/ thing to blame for their misfortune.

Rather be single, have a child and be happy than raise a boy into a man because his father didn’t do that job. I’m sorry.
Thanks for pointing some reminder in Myles Munroe teaching on fatherlessness in this time and age ,but I don't agree will some of your point , pls watch he explain all in this teaching .

Darkseid:
The main reason why students read and fail exams in Nigeria is because they are not good at cramming period. If you read to understand, you are bound to fail but if you can cram the lecturer's note word for word without even understanding it, you can still get your A. Sometimes these lazy lecturers give out scripts to other students to mark and using a method aside the one in used in the marking scheme means automatic failure.

Self employment is good but sometimes it does not turn out right. For instance too many people are already into barbing, tailoring, cake making, hair dressing, etc. It takes careful planning and grace of God to succeed through it. Many people are 'self employed' yet are as poor as the underpaid workers.

God save us all.
true it takes careful planning and God grace sometimes part of the problem entails the kind of business one is going into and motive of why people start business some want to break away from being under someone or hate being bossy truth is there is no true freedom away where ,when u have your business that when u get busy even the more ,proper planning such as building up a thorough network of client before even starting is key ,and taking advice or reading books from Jimi ovia and Mj demarco from those who have made it or looking for a mentor to guide someone is key or lots of YouTube on business or paid webinar , but some business that gives u that privilege even while working( intrapreneurship ) to build network of client e.g a software programmer, coding ,forex trading e.tc while some doesn't those are the kind of business one needs good sales and marketing idea and solid product or topnuch service behind it before starting e.gsalon and co but all in all what every aspiring entrepreneurs must know is learn "business development from the guru which comprises of sales and marketing " once one is good at this its an edge and having a soild product to sell or good service to render before quitting their job that's why starting business early in one early life has an advance the end is sweet but the beginning is rough not easy thou
