Politics / Re: Finally, Nigerian Govt. Moves To Obey Supreme Court Ruling On ALSCON by DelGardo: 1:00pm On Oct 04, 2017 |
Successive PDP administrations were notorious for messing things up and not keeping to the minimum acceptable levels of decency in business dealings. Imagine writing SHELTER instead of SMELTER just to fu*k things up... how unprofessional and disgraceful. We have now lost over 10years worth of productivity due to that! More grease to Fayemi/Osinbajo/Buhari's elbows. We shall overcome. |

As for the poster above there is no govt that does not monitor it's public space. Freedom of speech does not cover hate speeches so be warned. Politics / Re: Public Officials Took N400bn Bribe In 1 Year – NBS by DelGardo: 6:55am On Aug 17, 2017 |
Bribery is alive in Nigeria. The average Nigerian believes he can't get ahead except he settles the counterpart. That's why he is largely unproductive. To make matters worse the Nigeria Police machinery is oiled by bribery. It is almost like your bribe-taking skill is the only requirement to be a policeman. The only improvement I have seen under Buhari wrt police bribery is that they are now more friendly when soliciting from private road users. But they still toll commercial vehicles. The new IG is making some positive effort but the rot is deep. He needs to work with citizens more but how many can he sack if reported? I don't even think replacing the whole of NP will work. It needs a rebirth Buhari is winning against corruption, I will like him to re-tool current framework for fighting bribery... with something like the whistle-blower policy. A lot of Nigerians are willing to help in this direction. God bless and keep my president. Wailers abeg avoid me this morning. 9 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: What Has Buhari Accomplished? by DelGardo: 4:26pm On Aug 16, 2017 |
- Nigeria rice production has increased to 15million tons from less than 1m before buhari - Calabar-Itu road was left untouched by PDP for over 8 yrs. Buhari put in place remedial repairs within 4 months of assumption. This was key for me. Proper revamp contract has been awarded the work on going - Roads in the SE are now getting attention. Enugu-Onitsha, Ikot Ekpene - Aba road, Azumini - Aba etc. These roads were completely abandoned under hero even with 100% Igbo support - Chibok girls rescued. Thousands of displaced citizens resettled. Famous Baga fish market and several major public spaces are back to life - implemented TSA and took back control of govt revenue - inherited bankrupt state accounts. States that couldn't pay salaries under El Clue, he bailed them out - Paid ALL states their Paris refund. Under Uncle IB only PDP states were given the ecological - fund small money o (but wailers see nothing wrong with that) for elections purposes. Meanwhile the refund should have been done by Jona but whoside - Paid back backlog pensions and debts to contractor, which encouraged then to go back to works abandoned for months. Also settles over, N500b of subsidy claims he did not accumulate - zero fuel scarcity. NNPC now refines products and publishes accounts - Buhari and his vice took a pay cut to lead by example. - his wife has no office. She has not been stealing our money or insulting people. This, is a major achievement to people of good interest. Wife of presidents should not spend public funds let alone steal them like Patience Jonathan. - On a personal note my very small village in Enugu is experiencing the federal government with an on-going standard erosion control project. There has not been any FG project in my LG let alone my tiny town for over 40yrs. God bless Buhari - added savings to the sovereign wealth fund SWF and added savings to the excess crude oil account despite low oil prices - Abuja airport revamp project successfully executed in record time. First time a govt project in Nig did not suffer slippage - got rid of the bloated presidential fleet donating excess to good causes. - revamped 11 dead fertiliser blending plants, dismantled the fertiliser scam of years while keeping the price down - increasing non-oil exports (we even export yam now). Increased our manufacturing base. Nigeria Stock Exchange has been the best performing in the world for over 6 weeks now - foreign reserves have grown by $7b from Oct 2016, a testament to superior economic management during period of low oil price. - Nigeria is out of top 10 most corrupt countries - FDI is increasing. Nigeria back to being 3rd highest FDI destination in Africa, we lost positions under Jona - Nigeria has regained the position of the biggest economy in Africa (not that I rate this fact but wailers love talking GDP this and that) Facts don't lie. Make I stop here first. |

DTaj: Even if the Deji fellow took pictures of the sky the delusional wailers will still believe and respond the same way. Hatred for Buhari lives in them; nothing else matters Please allow them to cry in peace. The good thing is that they did not vote for Buhari in 2015 and he still won. They know their numbers and antics are inconsequential to 2019 hence the death/hate campaigns. They will fail again. The days of cluelessness are over. |

tuniski: A failure that is increasing foreign reserves, sovereign wealth fund and Excess Crude Account during period of extremely low oil price, increasing local food production (ask Thai rice farmers about that), raising manufacturing base (talk to MAN), revamping infrastructure (drive around), dealing with environmental issues head-on (ask Ogoni people), fighting corruption, bailing out states without noise and without leaving out sworn enemies like one idiot called Fayose (unlike uncle IB who didn't give opposition states their due from the ecological fund), defeating Boko Haram, which your hero shat his pants for etc. Dude, go suck a lemon. CharlotteFlair: Everytime an innocent life is taken away by the wicked under whatever guise; Boko Haram, Fulani hersdmen, cattle rustlers, kidnappers, armed robbers, Nigeria Police , Nigeria Army, terrorists, insurgents or rebels, anywhere in Nigeria or the world something in me dies. Maybe that is because I am still human and believe in sanctity of life. Maybe it is because I believe we all share a common desire to live and to dream. Maybe is is because I believe in the power of good over evil. You can rejoice in your morbid victories. Maybe, someday, you shall find the peace that has eluded you. |

TheFreeOne: If your country is burning I invite you to jump right into the fire cos mine ain't. Fulani crisis and killing of Shites and IPOB (whatever that means) is nothing compared to Boko Haram crisis where you had to be searched to get into churches; with thousands dead, millions displaced and Nigeria Army running from battle. Economies don't fail overnight. Ours failed due to looting and bad choices under Jonathan. Like making a cake with N75m, buying more presidential aircraft, not fixing refineries and allocating a laughable N18b for road projects in 2015. As per your opinion of my disposition and my intellect I believe it is your prerogative. Enjoy your evening, sir. |

luvinhubby: You must be having a laugh ain't you. 4000 dead under BH! Yeah right. Go to Borno and ask them how they feel now and how they felt under your thieving gang. War is not won on Nairaland. Please go to Chibok, Baga, Buni Yadi, Damboa, Bama, Biu, Moguno etc and ask around. When you are done read about Venezuela, Angola and other oil dependent economies suffering the effects of low oil price. You may learn a thing or two You may also wish to explain to me how this your wonderful economy under hero IB was borrowing to pay salaries even with dollar @ N200. Yet you have the guts to talk about loans taken for capital expenditure. BTW fulani herdsmen crisis in Nimbo, Agatu, SKD etc is tiny (not just small) compared to 14 LGAs under your beloved Boko Haram for 5 whole years. 1 Like |
