And some will still ask "where is the change?".
That's what I voted for... the parliament as presently constituted is a huge drain on our resources anyways, so good riddance to bad rubbish.

Make politics unattractive and see Nigeria progress.

You're ignorant, very ignorant to be honest.

Thanks for the pictures.

Pls confirm whether the aircraft was eventually bought. I understand GEJ bought some second hand Alpha jets, might that be one of them?

Also show pictures of delivery of this aircraft or information concerning why it was not the one selected after the "inspection".

That's how you do it. Specify, shop, inspect, test, order, deliver, inspect again, pay and use.

Under GEJ you will hear billions were spent to buy arms but you will not hear a word about process steps taken nor see a picture of arms supplied.

If you talk wailers will say it was top secret.

Never again shall we load cash into private planes and make kurukere moves in the name of buying arms.

Change!

Politics / Re: Secret Plot To Amend NLNG Act To Pave Way For Sale Of National Oil Asset Exposed by DelGardo: 7:18pm On Nov 16, 2016
This amendment will have a devastating effect on Nigeria economy.

The executive is clearly not in in support of the amendment, why is the house bent on fixing something that is not broken?

How about paying attention to the PIB we have been shouting about for the past 8 years? Odi egwu

Clearly Saraki and his group represents the biggest threat to this democracy. If they pass this bill one would expect PMB to withhold assent. Simples.

Good news for the wailers. Rejoice o'Niger Deltans and IPOB for we are making progress. Not!

Kebbi, Kano, Jigawa etc are celebrating increased rice and general food production.
Lagos is moving ahead with light rail, Eko Atlantic and other massive projects.
States in the north and west are reaching out for investors by building investor confidence, despite the devastation of the Jonathan era.

We are celebrating pipeline bombing and degradation of our communities. Happy days!

CSTR13:
The super-tucano jet in question is a joint venture between the US and Brazil.
Infact, most of the tech used is probably American.[/b]

Granted, but that is not the point.

The article said that Nigeria is planning to buy the aircraft from Brazil while the fact is that Nigeria has reached an understanding with US (not Brazil) for the purchase of 12 Super Tucanos.

http://www.nigerianwatch.com/news/9277-us-plans-selling-nigeria-12-super-tucano-jets-as-part-of-pledge-to-help-fight-boko-haram

Then the senseless article went further to say, among other questionable things, that Embraer (not intellectual rights over the STs) is an American company. What sort of journalism is that? So unprofessional. But they know the ignorant wailers don't ask questions

Google champion...no Embraer is Daura company. Born throw'way.

Not sure why you had to respond this way but since you have shown an interest you might find the paragraph below useful.

"Embraer S.A is a Brazilian aerospace conglomerate that produces commercial, military, executive and agricultural aircraft[7] and provides aeronautical services. It is headquartered in São José dos Campos, São Paulo State".

Now go back to the article and see if it makes sense.

As an Enugu guy....I can testify that RCC is working tirelessly on that road now

Going from 9tmile to awka the right lane has been fixed (rehabilitated) though the state government of Enugu claims the responsibility

As for the second lane, fantastic job is going on there now....

Every good news cannot be propaganda

Based on your eye witness account I say once again may God bless Buhari and all the lovers of progress and development.

I can now look forward to travelling to 042, the beautiful, for Christmas knowing it won't be a nightmare trip.

So easy to shift blame.

Even thought it is unclear to me how these things work one wonders why the Senate did not request for the back-up documents before that unnecessary show, if they ever saw some value in the proposition.

Now they have seen the reaction of knowledgeable and well meaning members of the public it appears they want a scape goat for their rash decision.
Politics / Re: Breaking: Senate Reject PMB $30 billion Loan Request by DelGardo: 2:27pm On Nov 01, 2016
There was once a man (Nigeria) with many children who owned a company that was underperforming.

He fell ill and needed major surgery to stay alive. He wanted to sell some of his stake in viable entities to fund his operation as well as leave some working capital for his business (which employs some of his children), a number of his kids (that's what they really are) refused. Why? Because they were convinced he was about to sell their future inheritance.

Due to their refusal to allow him sell some stocks he turned to his bank for loan for the same purpose, yet the same set of children refused. Why? Because they want him and his ideals to die... for in his death they see life.

The amazing thing is that he still loves his children, for they know not what they are doing.

Who are the we? speak for yourself man.

Catching those guys is good but not a priority because it wont give Nigerians electricity, jobs, economic revival and so on, these should be the legacy Buhari should try to attain and not chasing around some looters that has never been convicted till date while everything about the country is taking a turn for the worst.

We know Government officials steal money but they steal it within the confines of the law which makes it harder to secure any conviction, so instead of chasing shadows that nothing will come out of, why not concentrate on power, economy and the those things that defines the life of every Nigerian.

I speak for those that are for anti corruption fight.

Wetin concern EFCC, ICPC, Police an DSS concern power? How will EFCC activities stop Buhari from the loan he is trying to secure for the Mambilla power project for instance?

If anything the fight against looting will improve our credit rating and also encourage real investors, who thrive in decent environments. Surprised you can't make that connection. Or are we to conclude that your views arise from a tinted cerebral cortex that is programmed for compulsive wailing?

The only legacy we want Buhari to build is to catch all yam eaters - abati included - and serve them long jail terms.

After that we will elect a president with more refined attributes - Osinbajo, Amechi, Duke, Sullivan, El Rufai, Fashola, Amina, Adeosun (some people go soon die) - to herald a magnificent country.

Abati just give us our money first. I beg you.

what ever the president did for his daughter is his choice. So face your front and allow others to run their race anyway.
